    Salmon Avocado (8pcs)- so good
    Michelle G.

Hands down, the best quality sushi in the area. The place is always packed, and for good reason. Service is nothing to write home about but it doesn't matter because the fish is so fresh and beautifully prepared. The flavors speak for them because the ingredients are top notch. As much as I dislike this part of Huntington, this is the go-to sushi that wins time and time again. Recommend- whatever you order will be incredible.

I was in the area craving sushi, so I decided to stop by and give this place a try! Since I arrived during lunchtime, I ended up ordering the Sushi Lunch. I really enjoyed the variety that came with it. I think the California rolls, tuna rolls, and salmon sushi ended up being my favorites lol. The miso soup was also really enjoyable. Unfortunately, I didn't get to finish my salad because a fly ended up landing on it :( But other than that, it was a good lunch overall. I also appreciated how fast the staff was with serving our food and clearing away finished plates and any trash lol

Came in for a quick bite! I got the Salmon Kiss Roll and it was soooo good, melted in my mouth. I think it was seared salmon with some truffle/eel sauce and garnish wrapped in soy paper. Service was okay, nothing special. Nice location by the pier and strip of restaurants. The inside of the restaurant lacks warmth/character but the outside seating are a vibe :)

We go there frequently. I wasn't impressed with the rolls that I ordered this time. Overall, it was ok. We sat outside. The restaurant inside always seems unorganized and chaotic. There is no decor whatsoever. Service is ok, bare minimum. Their menu is huge. I will order sushi and sashimi next time and skip the rolls.

One of our favorite sushi spots! Fish is always so fresh. Service always great no matter how busy they are. Decently priced and they never disappoint!

This is our Go-To place for good sushi. Service was great- always a full water glass and attentive staff. The only downside is the noise level - as the sound screeching chairs on the concrete floor when people come and go can be quite loud. The location is great if you like downtown Huntington Beach and can find parking

The best combination tempura ever and very friendly service. The price was probably a wee bit higher than others, but the food was delicious. Really cool ambience inside. I'd like to order to go, but seems like the delivery fee might be a wee bit pricey. For a small order Hey, it's on Main Street so-the rent's expensive ;-D

Came in not expecting much and ended up staying way longer than planned. Sushi on Fire gets the balance right: solid quality fish without the whole overpriced, overhyped vibe you get at a lot of places around here. The rolls are actually well put together (not falling apart halfway through), and the fish tastes fresh, not masked by a bunch of sauces. Tried a mix of specialty rolls and some basics, and nothing felt like a miss. Service was quick but not rushed, which I appreciate. It does get busy, but that's kind of the point--you can tell people actually come back here. Not trying to be something it's not, just consistently good sushi at a fair price. I'll probably be back. Oh and solid ass location too. Right smack in DT HB

We were driving down PCH and spending a day viewing the beach. We were craving sushi and decided to try this place on Huntington Beach because they were open later and we were struggling finding good open later in the beach areas. ( we are from Vegas and used to places staying open later.) I do recall the names of any of the rolls we ordered but ALL the sushi we ordered was amazing and we for sure would come back again.

01/17/26 Saturday Came around 5 PM with a party of 7 and were seated immediately. We just wanted a light meal since it was early. Around 30 minutes after we arrived, all the seats filled up. Not surprised since this is situated in a lively street with lots of foot traffic. Pros: -seafood was fresh -accommodated warm water request -clean -servers are on top of things What could be improved on: -Food took a while to come out. -rice in the chirashi bowl was a little too sour. -Parking at the nearby structure is free if you stay under 90 minutes.

    Scorpion - decent

Hibachi Filet Mignon was excellent. High quality. Cooked perfectly. Very flavorful. It comes with wonderful grilled vegetables, and a nice smokey teriyaki sauce on the side.

    Mitchell L.

Dined in with a group of 7 people on 1/17/26 around 5 PM. Service: It was quick when they seated us. The servers were always quick to refill our drinks or help us. Our only drawback was the food took a long time to arrive. Not sure if it was too busy, but they had a good amount of sushi chefs in the back. Parking: you can park at a garage for 90 minutes free nearby Food: 3/5, I ordered the Chirashi bowl. The fish was fresh, but the rice had a sour taste to it. Not the best sushi rice. Overall, it was an average sushi experience. Nothing spectacular.

First got to experience this place 6 years ago when I first visited Huntington Beach, since then I've come back with a quest of trying every popular roll on their menu. I can honestly say that every roll is delicious and the quality is consistant. Animal, Action, 3 Amigos, Pink Lady, Girl on the Beach, Station 42, Rainbow, Four Corners, Lobster, Spicy Edamame, No Name Salad, DK, Beach Boy, 911, Magic Mountain(if you like stir fry's), and Refreshing are my favorite dishes. If you go and there is a long line, order take out and head next door to the wine bar and have some wine and eat your sushi. If you tell the staff you are next door they will even bring your sushi to the wine bar.

Drinks and food were both good, worth the wait. Chicken Wings -crispy and light, chicken was soo juicy. We loved the raw minced garlic sprinkled over top. Saltado Fries (w/ Filet Mignon)- Sauce/glaze they used to stir fry the dish was just the right amount of sweet and stickiness. Something about their green sauce is so addicting. Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly, we ordered it medium. Chifa Fried Rice (with Filet Mignon)- fried rice had plenty of wok heat aroma. Next time if we ordered both the fried rice and saltado fries, we might opt for a different protein rather than both being Filet Mignon. Garlic Butter Prawns -shrimp had the perfect snap and cooked perfectly. Sauce paired well with the rice, rich and decadent. Rib Bone Soup -sooo good! Beef ribs were fall off the bone tender. Soup was clear but flavorful which helped wash down the rest of our meal. If you love glass noodles, you have to give this a go.

The inside area is a bit cramped and doesn't really have a good ambiance. The service at Kei concept restaurants is pretty solid, the workers are very nice and considerate. My favorite dishes are the Asian pear salad and the Lomo saltado fries with filet mignon. I really recommend the pear salad because the arugula, burrata, the dressing with the Korean pear is so refreshing. One downside is that they're a bit too pricey now so I don't go as much as I did before.

She put on the family calendar dinner for a Sunday night at 6:30 PM. She forgot to make a reservation through Open Table. Knowing that the restaurant sometimes has tables for walk ins, we took a chance that there would be a table and went to the restaurant. When she checked in with the host, he said that the wait would be 20-30 minutes. There was a table of 4 just finishing up. Other parties checked in for their dinner reservations. The wait was less than 20 minutes. It was our daughters' first time at the restaurant. Older daughter had a blackberry lavender. She gave me a sip. I'll need to order one for myself next time. I liked the flavor. Older daughter also ordered a small plate cauliflower and spaghetti and meatballs. Besides the Miso Glazed Black Cod, we also ordered the Pork Tomahawk, and the Seafood Mafaldine. All the food was excellent. The cauliflower was unique in its preparation. The florets were dipped in tempura batter and fried, dressed with ginger miso, had a savory umami flavor, and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. The miso glazed black cod lived up to expectation. It was accompanied by soba noodles in a mushroom broth and topped with frisée. The pork tomahawk was huge at 24 oz. The sweet potato puree was silky. We asked the server to pack the bone and other pieces of meat that we couldn't finish so that we could continue to enjoy it at home. There was plenty of seafood: scallops, crab, and shrimp with the house-made mafaldine. Daughters enjoyed their first visit to Ini. We loved bringing them with us this time and having dinner together as a family.
