As the others say, poor customer service! We ordered over the phone and was told our order will take 45mins (yes, long wait but wanted to try this place for the first time). We get a call 20mins later that our order was ready (sweet!), we head over and was told that they called the wrong person (wtf?!), so our order was NOT ready. How incompetent! Please read your reviews and trust your customer on your horrendous customer service and hire new staff! Absolutely love the laid back atmosphere and the staff. You can always count on Jayden or Richard to make you smile while dining at the sushi bar. They have a great selection of simple rolls, as well as complex and very savory style rolls. They also offer Kama which is fish cheekbone, and you have the option of yellow tail or salmon. Such slow and horrible service. We got here the same time as another customer, and that customer was eating and paid for his meal before we even got served. When we arrived we waited 15 minutes at our table without a menu before finally a server came over and we had to ASK. We waited over an hour without anyone updating us on our order before we finally just walked out which I've literally never done in my life. We will never come back to this restaurant again. If i can rate 0 star i would for this place we went there me and my husband for a first time just to try a new place after waiting about 5 minutes to be seated and the place wasn't even packed we asked to set on the sushi bar and we were waiting to get a menu or some one to ask what we want to eat after 15 minutes i asked the waitress so what do we do now she was like "what" i said we need a menu or at least some water she said ok I'll be right back, we waited 5 more minutes and nup we didn't get any service then we had to leave, even when they saw us leaving no one bothered to ask why are we leaving. This has some of the best sushi I've ever had!!!! My favorite is the truffle salmon. Omg it melts in your mouth. The black truffle paste with this magical sauce they put on top of the salmon. It is exquisite. They also have an array of hot dishes including the yellowtail collar that is mouthwatering. They cook it to perfection! I can't say enough of this restaurant. Absolutely will not go back. I've ordered from here several times, and each time the order took 1.5 to 2 hours to make. The staff is incredibly polite and wonderful, but the manager is a tool. After waiting for 1.5 hours for my order, he canceled it because the postmates app wouldn't allow him to add the additional minimal charge. The staff called to let me know about him canceling the order, and when I drove down to pay the difference so I could get my food, the manager refused to talk with me and walked out. Once we were asked to find a table and seat ourselves, the waitresses walked by multiple times before asking to take our drink order. They did give us 15% off because of the lateness but honestly that did not make this a better experience. 2.5 hours for take out is unacceptable and our food should have been free after that kind of wait. don't even know where to start about this place. my family and i are from out of town so we tried this sushi place for the night. the sweet waitress took our order and everything was all good. after waiting awhile we got our food and when we opened it when we got home it seemed like they were pulling a practical joke on us. my parents ordered the bento box with chicken teriyaki and it looked like rabbit food! there was absolutely no chicken on the plate! my sister and i got sushi and the california roll was fine but the veggie roll was very alarming. i don't know what it was but it tasted horrible. i told my parents not to eat the sushi in their bento box as i was afraid we were all going to get sick the next morning. thank god we didn't. when my mom called back to let them know about the chicken the manager would not even come on the phone and speak to us herself. she had her poor waitress keep relaying messages over the phone as if she was too scared to take control of the situation. the dinner bento boxes are 19$ and for what we got it should've been 5$. there was absolutely no food on the plate. when we asked for a refund at first she only wanted to give us half and wanted US to pay HER back because "we received more shrimp tempura then what one normally gets" after 10 min of going back and forth she told my mom to come in the next day so we could get a full refund. when my mom got in there of course the manager tries to defend her horrible actions and service and almost didn't GIVE the refund. continuing to fight my mom she only refunded us for ONE bento box. ridiculous.
