Happened upon this sushi place, but will never happen again. The interior had cool architecture and design. There were plenty of waitresses and our food was out quickly. One waitress tried her best to help, but she was difficult to understand. We had the seaweed salad that seemed dried out. The shrimp ceviche was super good but it pretty much ends there. The selection of rolls was basic with nothing that stood out. The rolls we had were ok. The Oreo tempura and mini rolls were decent. As soon as we put the last bite in our mouths, the check was there. We felt nothing short of thrown out. It was weird, but we wanted to leave quickly when a group of diners allowed their children to run around the restaurant. While we ate we hoped the staff would say something but the situation got much worse. We were forced to move drinks on our table so kids wouldn't hit them while running. This experience could have been more than a 2 but since this issue was allowed to continue, 2 stars it is. Overall, just bad.

I love Sushi Palace! This place was my introduction to sushi 9 years ago, and I have been coming here, (along with the other locations throughout NJ) ever since. They have a regular non unlimited sushi menu and the unlimited sushi menu. I've only ever ordered from the unlimited sushi menu. It's the perfect mix of cooked food (kitchen menu) and sushi. It's a dimly lit, intimate spaIf you're visiting on a weekend, expect a wait and a FULL house, I mean no empty seats at all. I visited last Saturday, and our wait time for a party of 3 was about 40 minutes. One of the best things about Sushi Palace is their unlimited sushi menu. It's best to go with a large group, so you can order a wider variety of rolls without getting full too quickly. Lately, they've even added an additional menu with new items, which is a nice touch. Every time I visit Sushi Palace, I always start with Kani salad, edamame, and shumai, it's the perfect way to kick off the meal. My go to rolls are the Pink Lady, Butterfly, and Volcano, they never disappoint. I always bring my friends and family here to introduce them to sushi, and it's become my go to spot. Be prepared to wave your waiter/waitress over whenever you want to put in another order, which I actually appreciate. Most of the time, they mainly come by to clear plates, so if you're waiting for them to ask about your next round of food, you might be sitting there for a while. Whether you're a sushi lover or not, I believe that Sushi Palace is a must visit!

They added more options to their menu which included a Peking duck, sushi pizza and Korean beef. We also got our usual seaweed salad, Kani salad, seafood udon soup, shumai, potato croquette, and all varieties of sushi. Service is impeccable as usual.

My favorite Christmas tradition is coming to Sushi Palace for Christmas lunch! I usually come with a pretty large crowd of 15-20 people and get their all-you-can-eat set Ambiance: Spacious, plenty of natural light! The space can fit a large crowd of 15-20 people at a long table setup-you just need to call ahead to reserve Service: The staff is quick to take your order and deliver your food. They are also quite attentive and continuously poured hot tea or water throughout our lunch Food: Sashimi slices taste fresh and delicious! My favorites are the Salmon and White Tuna sashimi. Their sushi pieces are quite large and come with a a large portion of rice at the bottom. My go to favorite rolls are the dragon roll, soft shell crab roll(fried crab), tri color roll and spicy salmon roll. Their tempuras are super crispy and come hot to your table! You also must save room for dessert and get their ice cream( green tea, chocolate, vanilla or red bean) If you love all-you-can-eat sushi you should come here! I know I'll be back!

My favorite sushi place in Somerville! Their AYCE menu is really worth it, around $40 a person (tax and tip included) which is kinda pricey, but considering the amount of food they offer, it's worth the feast once in a while. The sushi also comes out pretty fast! I love dining here whenever I'm in town, I wish Ann Arbor had a place like this too haha.

This was an all-you-can-eat spot that had plenty of options. The space was smaller than I thought but did have a closed off location for private events it seemed like. The service was okay as it tended to slow down the more we ordered, but suppose that is the point. I will not share everything I tasted, but just give a few of the items tried. From the kitchen, the best item tried was surprisingly the miso soup. There was plenty of tofu present and came out very hot, which was nice to see. The broth was refreshing. The vegetable lumpia was also tasty. The rice vinegar enhanced the overall flavor. Regarding the sushi, I had some regular hand rolls, sashimi, and special rolls. They seemed to be of decent quality, but lacked in consistency as we ordered a few items more than once with different results. I was most intrigued to try the mushroom avocado roll as I do not believe seeing that before. The combination of mushroom and avocado was definitely interesting but grew on me after a couple of bites. Some of the special rolls that stood out to me were the butterfly, tiger, shunpick, and Edison rolls. Will I go back? Probably.

For people who loves Sushi and Sashimi, Sushi Palace in Somerville NJ is an all you can eat. I have been here many times and keeps on coming back because of the fresh fish they serve. From the soup as start to the fruits and ice cream for dessert, nice waiters and cozy place. The place is a bit small though and it's a long wait to be seated during weekends, so better you reserve a table and don't forget to bring your bottle coz it's BYOB!

Sushi Palace makes for a pretty solid all you can eat sushi experience. I appreciate the wide array of menu options provided, and the lack of limitations, unlike some other places. We started out by trying the red snapper and calamari, which were decent, but nothing special. I really liked their eel, and enjoyed most of the rolls. The Edison roll stood out to me the most as my favorite, though I strongly disliked the butterfly roll and felt like it was a poor combination of flavors. In terms of service, Sushi Palace is very quick and has very helpful staff. They were constantly cleaning off any empty plates and accommodated all of our needs. The inside of Sushi Palace is clean, though the tables feel cramped and the interior doesn't stand out in terms of appearance. While Sushi Palace isn't my favorite AYCE I've tried, they definitely made for a nice, enjoyable experience.

This place is an AYCE sushi restaurant that you order from a paper menu. Everything is made to order and you can order as much as you can eat. The place is very crowded and apparently very popular with the locals. Its also BYOB. Its about $32 per person. All of the fish range from super fresh to ok fresh. The fried stuff tasted a bit like old oil. Service is quick, and water is refilled on time. Bathroom is huge and clean. Overall a decent value and a nice place to meet with friends.

For all you can eat sushi it's def my favorite I've had in the area. Thats a no brainer However I do hate going there. I'm a big dude with a big appetite. I always get 8-10 rolls of sushi and they only bring 5 at a time which I understand but when I was going every week you think they'd realize I'm going to eat it all When I would go during the day they would kinda try to get me out of there fast. Probably because they weren't making money off of me Anyway all the sushi slaps and the spicy seaweed salad it bomb, that's all that matters

For sushi lovers. I have been here a few times . BYOB all you can eat. Starting with a soup and ending with fruit and icecream. I have been to this place always on Friday and from 6:30pm to 7:45pm it has been the busiest time. I never got disappointed, the fish is fresh and the portions are good. The restaurant is not big , but it is cozy and the waitress are always nice and gentle. If you are a sushi lover it is a place for you! I certainly will go back.

Ordered their Chicken Katsu Lunch special & boy was I stuffed! The chicken was breaded and cooked very nicely. I loved that the sauce came on the side so I can control the amount of sauce I want. The miso soup was great and the dressing for the salad was really delicious too. I ordered on DoorDash and surprisingly the food came super quick.

Good value. Decent if hurried service. All you can eat of quality fish for $19.95 per person (weekdays). How can you beat that????

The interior is gorgeous, and you can't go wrong sitting at a table or at one of the bars. They also have sake here, and the selection is great! Every time I come here my meal is delicious. Everyone who works here is so friendly too. When I went recently I got the Ryujin tuna and miso soup. My husband and I also split the wagyu gyoza special and the mochi ice cream for dessert. The yellowtail is flavorful without being too fishy and the salmon cuts are consistently high-quality. The red tuna is alright. Albacore and sea bass are both good. I would definitely recommend trying the rolls and combinations here as well. The sushi is understandably this restaurant's high point, and I cannot emphasize the quality and care enough. Even the plating is beautiful. The environment here is very welcoming. Even when it's completely full, the music and conversations are never overly loud. Used to be BYOB but now has a drinks menu and bar. I haven't tried the sake, but the NJ wines are decent. The desserts are limited. The oreo tempura ice cream is interesting though and unique to this location. I wouldn't recommend getting any desserts, though. I'd fully recommend coming here! It's the best sushi in the area.
