Considering other reviews, I don't think we waited too long. We ordered two of their top ramens, although the matcha duck one was enticing, I did like the Garlic overload on my ramen. The fried enoki mushrooms were also good, I just wish the portions were a bit bigger for both dishes. Staff was also quick and helpful going through the menu with us first timers. We sat at a shared table but I like how they had a divider to separate the spaces. Pretty small restaurant and they only have street parking so if you want to try, I recommend going early! We were lucky to snag a spot right in the front!

The noodles are the highlight for me. They're bouncy and have a nice texture. The bowl is packed with flavor. The Karaage was good, crispy, absorbed the sauce well, there were also pieces of soft eggplant as well. I would go lighter on the sauce or have the excess on the side. The sauce became overpowering the more chicken I ate. I think the Houston location had better service. This location felt cramped, loud and cold. There is only street parking at this location, there is Fentons a few doors down but there's more parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. The Chicken ramen at Mensho is the best I've tried in the U.S thus far

I got the Tonkotsu and the grilled pork was delicious, super flavorful with a nice char on the edges. Had that nice grilled flavor. I got the spicy on the side since I wasn't sure about the heat level, and ended up using about 3/4 of it. It paired really well with the broth, which was rich and full of flavor. The yakitori was also really good. I tried the king oyster and the chicken thigh, and everything was cooked perfectly. I finished everything. The atmosphere is great, the art and menu are really fun, and the service was super friendly. Really excited to have this as my go-to ramen spot. Definitely bringing friends and family here when they visit.

For starters, we got the enoki chips, and they were such a fun, unique treat. Super crispy with a great texture, I'd absolutely order them again. We also tried the Tada bun. It was good, but it felt like it was missing something to really make it pop. I really appreciated the variety on the menu, especially the starters and curries. There are so many options that I'd definitely come back to try something different next time. If you're vegan, this is actually a great spot. They have three vegan ramen options, which felt special since most places only offer one. My partner ordered the spicy vegan ramen and thought it was terrific, though we both agreed the broth wasn't as rich as we're used to. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, but unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The broth felt a bit underwhelming, and the pork flavor came across stronger than I expected. That said, I'd definitely come back, especially because of the thoughtful vegan options. Next time, I'll probably try the Chashu Bowl, which looked really good when it came out at another table. The space isn't very big, so it's probably not ideal for groups larger than 4-6, but it would be great for a casual date night or cozy lunch.

Arrived on time for my 8:30am reservation and of course had to sit at the welcoming bar. Thank goodness I made a reservation because there were walk ups that were waiting outside for a seat. Started off strong eith a good ole bottle of Sake and its rare i find a place that carries one of my favorites (Kurosawa) so i was a hapy camper there. I had the sashimi combo and the Nigiri combo. Both were great and lovingly made by the pros at the bar. It was great seeing them take great care with the fish and forming the nigiri. Everything was so so so good! It's better this way. Try it. Saturday was unusual in that they were short staffed and almost at capacity. The food and service did not suffer. I'm not so sure I'd be that pleasant if I had to serve the entire restaurant on my own. To add to the vibe, I dropped the soy sauce container. Fortunately, me and my light pink shirt were the only casualties, but I made a huge mess. Napkins were thrown my way by other customers. I cleaned the table and floor. Yes, I really went for it. Most of the soy sauce was on me and my shoes. The server apologized she didn't completely wipe up my mess. No worries. It was my fault. Hashi Gawa has become a fave for Dad and I. It should be yours too.

He found this place so we went to give it a try. It's in a plaza so there's parking . When you walk in it's a cute store front . Modern but cozy . Customer service was nice and fun . Our waitress was very helpful . Oysters on the half shell were fresh. Yall know that's my favorite and I'll never tell no lies ! The sauce they put on it was a nice touch and not overbearing the fresh oyster taste ! Tempura has a nice crispy batter and the prawns were plump not skimpy or chewy . I also got the Santa Barbara hand roll because I really wanted uni but they don't sell uni as an appetizer. The hand roll itself was good nice flavor loved the salmon eggs , just wish there was more uni ( probably because that's what I really wanted lol I'm being honest okay ). But the star of the show for me was the SPICY LION KING ROLL . I've had plenty of lion king rolls throughout the years but never had a spicy one and it was bomb . I think what makes it spicy is the sauce they use . Wasn't too hot just an extra little kick to everything going on . We were sitting right next to the sushi makers and they overheard us talking about how good it was and they loved our vibe . We chatted and got to a point they gave us a free dessert which was so good ! I forgot the name but it was like a soft fluffy pancake filled with cold cream like vanilla ice cream ! I'd definitely give them a try and would come again .

Both really good. I had to refrain from drinking and eating it all so I didn't get full before my food came. Would order both again. (Maybe add some liquor in the lemonade lol ) For my main dish, I went with the 10 piece nigiri omakase and upgraded $10 to include toro. Pieces of fish were huge and delicious. Surprisingly the toro wasn't my favorite but still was really good! The shrimp head was a nice treat! I ordered dessert even though I was stuffed cause I couldn't help myself: matcha tres leche (which I was told was their most popular dessert). It didn't disappoint! The space is very cozy, quiet, almost unassuming. For a Saturday evening, there were only 3-4 parties around us. I was relieved as some of our favorite sushi spots in this area tend to require reservations. We were welcomed graciously and were happy to hear the staff's recommendations. SALMON SPECIAL: !!! Pretty unique! I loved the beet-marinated salmon, this was nice and sweet. The green curry was interesting, though outshone by the former. TUNA TATAKI: A LOT of topping for a tataki...! Like overflowing! I liked it ^_^ But a lot of onion and texture. I mainly was curious towards the ponzu soy mayo, which didn't fail to be bright and flavorful. BACON OF THE SEA: My partner is the BIGGEST fan of salmon skin so this was a must-have. SO good. Crispy outside, tender inside, plus all the fatty goodness throughout. SAKE DON: Supa fresh!! With thick cuts. The rice is seasoned well, not too sour. I could've done without the lemon slices, but it might be someone else's cup of tea. Overall, pretty solid sake don :3 We got lucky with parking and found a spot across the street... But I'd come a bit earlier to scout out the area if you've driving.
