It's our favorite go to for sushi. And even better that it's not a chain restaurant. Great service and always trying something new and never disappointed .

I come here whenever I get my car serviced at Subaru--it's become my little ritual. Sushi Pop has such a chill, relaxed vibe that makes waiting for car maintenance feel like a mini treat instead of a chore. The atmosphere is cozy but upbeat, with good music that fills the space without being too loud. The food is consistently tasty and fresh--every roll feels thoughtfully made, not rushed. I especially love how the presentation always looks like something out of a magazine, even for a casual lunch. The staff are friendly in that effortless, genuine way that makes you feel welcome right away. It's the kind of place where you can sit solo and unwind, or bring a friend and linger over a few rolls and drinks. Definitely one of those spots that quietly becomes part of your routine without you even realizing it.

F O O D OMG everything was absolutely scrumptious! We got a combination of fried and fresh options: Rainbow Spider Roll Scallop Roll Hooters Roll Crunch Shrimp Roll I'm hard pressed to decide what my favorite roll was. I saw that there were tons of options such as ramen, curry and such, but we were craving sushi and it did not disappoint. It's a bit out of the way now that I live in HB but if I'm in the area and craving Japanese this is definitely my to-go spot from now on. I also saw that they have weekday Happy Hour! S E R V I C E The service was so good! It wasn't too busy when we came during the week, but the service was still very good considering it seemed like there was only one server and one chef working. I always appreciate when staff provide good service at all times, especially when it's slow because they're not taking advantage and slacking off. L O C A T I O N I'm sad I didn't know about this place when I lived in Anaheim ;( The restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking in Fullerton. Very casual and a great place to eat by yourself at the bar or hang out with friends.

Great service and great food! The sushi was very fresh and delicious. My wife got the bento box and portions waa huge too. Highly recommend the beef, it was very tender. Green tea ice cream was one of the best I've had too.

We got the Euclid, Lemon, and the Baked salmon rolls. And an ice cream! We've come a few times now for their sushi and it's always super tasty. We're making our way down the entire menu hehehe. Highly recommend Sushi Pop! My favorite roll is the Lemon roll.

The food, the service and ambience are exactly what I expect when I go out to eat, especially when I have my 2 kids. The udon, chicken and vegetable, neither one of my kiddos left a drop. The sushi, we did about 7 orders of nigiri sushi and every one of them hit. The Angels special roll was out of left field and fantastic. I'll def be back for the rest of the menu. Oh and a side note; they play K-POP on the TVS and the tunes they play are, as the kids say, fire.

The sushi rolls were perfect . Tasty and well presented. We ordered the sexy shrimp rolls, baked lobster Baked salmon and they have a kids menu and we got the grilled beef. It comes with steamed rice , 2 dumplings and salad . The inside is pretty and clean . The servers were attentive.

I think this place was OK who is about five out of 10 in my opinion. The rules are too big and the cuts of the fish are too big.

    Is it AYCE sushi place?

It used to have AYCE, but they stopped during pandemic shutdown and then never brought it back due to inflationary pressure on the cost of fish and other ingredients.

    Is it a buffet?

They do not have a buffet.

Is your raw fish flash frozen before serving?

    Is AYCE back? Thanks!

Went there on 08/22/2021 and the person at the front said they will not be bringing AYCE back

Does the whole table need to get AYCE?

    No, but it's not shareable!

    Is ayce available?

    It's not available yet

    Are they doing ayce?

We were there last week and they were NOT doing ayce yet.

Are they doing ayce during COVID? And is there outdoor seating?

    There is no outdoor seating

When will you guys be open for dine in?

    They have dine in now

How much is their AYCE for lunch on Saturday? Thanks!

    $22.99 before 3:30pm $27.99 after 3:30pm

How much is all u can eat sushi per person?

I believe the price per person for the AYCE is $27.50

Is the sashimi AYCE too? Or do you have to have rice?

With the dinner menu, you have like 5 choices of fish, which you can order one serving of each. Not AYCE but you get a lot of fish.

How much is all you can eat sushi here?

I think lunch is about $22 and dinner is $25-$28

    How much is AYCE?

    Ayce is 25.99

    How is the ramen here?

I haven't had the ramen but my lunch-mate who isn't an afficionado said it wasn't great.

    How much is AYCE?

It was $24.95 per person when we went

    How much is AYCE?

    26.99

Do you have to do ayce?

Nope. They have a great selection on a-la-carts sushi and other foods as well.

Has anybody eaten at both Sushi Damu AND at Sushi Pop in Fullerton? Which is better? Thanks!

I love both but sushi pop is my regular spot. Service and price is way better. Quality at damu is slightly better but not enough to make me choose it over sushi pop!

Elisa was friendly and delivered good service. The service was kind of slow, but the dishes were very delicious. The fish was fresh and I saw the chef filleting a whole fish, which I don't think I've seen in Southern California before. Maybe because I don't typically sit at or near the bar. The Yellowtail Jalapeño was perfectly spicy and had the umami I appreciate. The micro greens and tomato were nice additions to the plate. The Coconut Shrimp Roll had coconut shrimp, coconut mayo, and shaved coconut. This was a surprisingly delightful combination. The Lemon Salmon Roll was very good, but could've benefited from a sauce. The Caliente and Golden Tiger Rolls were also tasty. I would return for more rolls, cold signature plates, and their Uni Pasta. They offer BOGO deals on certain rolls and have an attractive selection of liquors & cocktails. This is a classy location for celebrating.

It was so good for the price! We were there around 8pm so I especially appreciated how fresh the fish and good the sushi rice was. This most recent time, we were there around 8:30pm and the sushi rice was definitely disappointing. It was stale and the texture was super off which took away from the sushi. We also tried the seasonal truffle eel and were super disappointed by how small and measly the portion size was for the price. The smallest pieces of eel.. Combining both experiences, I'd give this place 4 stars! Will most likely go back to our usual sushi spot after this last visit.
