This is a nice little place to pop in and get some quick lunch when I am working in office. I have also picked food up for dinner and taken it home. Their menu is massive! So many rolls to choose from, along with ramen, noodles, teriyaki, and a plethora of dinner entrées like grilled sea bass, beef ribs, and curry dishes. I personally have only had rolls and miso soup. I have tried Hooters, Sexy Shrimp, Pizza Hot, and Spicy Tuna. All of them were good! My husband's favorite is the Pizza Hot, which is a baked roll with smoked salmon, crab and avocado. The employees are always friendly and the place is clean and bright. Prices are pretty typical with rolls averaging $15 each. read more

Rolls: 2/5 Sashimi: 3/5 Ramen: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Overall I would give a better review but there are 2 things that upset me. The tap water straight up taste like toilet water, like the gym water even tastes better than this. The server gave us extra spoon and bowl for ramen. Cool, nice server, thank you. They have a new sign in the window that says "20% off everything every day from 3:30pm-5:30pm" with no further details or stipulations mentioned. We were told it only applies if you *pay* within that time-frame, so be aware if you want to take advantage of that deal. The sign does not say you need to pay before 5:30, so I guess if you start eating around 5:00 you need to pay within 30 min or you pay full price. They no longer do the complimentary ice cream after the meal. I'm not sure when that stopped but it wasn't offered during our recent visit so I can only think they don't do it at all now. Love how they give first responder discount and even hook it up with free random stuff for regulars. Nice staff and tasty rolls. Even the ramen is good. So I start clearing everybody's plates & Even when the manager and staff are talking and watching me clear our party of 15 and not one of them came to help & acted as if it's normal to have their customers clear their own tables ? So what are we tipping for? Had the $28 dollar lamb chops ( super thin) asked for Med-Rare, got well done. They were just okay. Beet salad delicious, fries were great , lentil soup was great. Parking lot is being worked on so get there early to find parking or park in structure for free .

We ended up here based on the mostly positive Yelp reviews we read. Initially we were seated at a table right near the sushi bar. One of the sushi chef's kids was standing on the sushi bar (not kidding), making tons of noise and throwing soy sauce bowls on the ground. I love kids and can exercise patience when dealing with them, but this was ridiculous. We changed tables twice until we were seated as far away from the sushi bar as possible. Even after it was made painfully obvious why we were moving tables, the sushi chef and his wife continued to allow the kid to make tons of noise and keep throwing things around. We ordered the $20 AYCE special, mostly because it made the most financial sense. I stayed pretty simple and ordered a variety of sushi and a seaweed salad. Everything was pretty yummy and fresh tasting. My boyfriend tried a bunch of the rolls and was pretty happy overall. The decor was kind of strange....each table had a giant balloon hanging from it which just ended up getting in the way. Food: 4 stars. Ambiance: Strange, not very inviting. Felt more like a quick serve place than a restaurant. Screaming child (of an employee) that no one cared enough to make stop...deal breaker. 0 stars. Price for AYCE: Pretty good deal. 4 stars. Overall, not very memorable (in a good way at least). Not the worst but definitely no where near the best. read more

First time here after reading all the positive reviews in yelp. Came in for the AYCE dinner and seated after a short 15 wait. Servers greeted my party and immediately offered a complimentary appetizer and all the goodies. Foods are very well prepared and love the presentation. I ordered mostly nigiri and the fish are fresh. Only issue is the rice to fish ratio is a little more towards the rice. 4 stars. They have a limit for sashimi offering. Only one per person for salmon, ahi tuna, yellowtail, seared albacore and seared tunas. A little dry on the albacore and tuna, but the no rice options are a huge plus. They also have halibut and large scallops for premium which is also included in the AYCE. Something to die for. 5 stars for that. Service wise is descent. My water cup was always topped off, and servers check us out occasionally, considering only 2 servers available for the floor the whole time. Another 5 star. They also let my party know since we're ordering a lot so expect a longer service time, which I understand and didn't bother me at all. Overall experience is superb and I appreciate their kindness giving us an extra mochi ice cream at the end. Thus a 5 stars review. read more

My friend and I were here on Saturday for sushi. As we sat down, friendly servers gave us soy beans and explained they have all you can eat sushi and regular menu. They have Sashimi, sushi, hand rolls as well as appetizers and non sushi menu. My friend ordered all you can eat and I ordered Rock N Roll, Sushi Pop Roll and some sushi. Service was quick and we got our foods really fast. 2 Sushi chefs and servers were professional and very friendly. My friend told me sushi was so fresh and rolls with nice decoration were amazing. Personally, I liked my Rock N Roll. I like the sauce, it tasted great, i don't know why two people are complaining about the sauce... I ordered few sushi, thy were fresh with reasonable amount of rice. At the end, they gave us small green tea ice cream for free!!!!! The price was good too. It was pretty cheap compared to other sushi restaurant nearby. I recommend this place, you won't regret. Don't even bother to read bad reviews. Just try their foods. you will be satisfied. 5-Star Review - Sushi Pop Fullerton Sushi Pop Fullerton continues to be one of our absolute favorite places to eat. The food is always incredible, the service is consistently welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like a true family dinner every time we walk through the door. We highly recommend the Caliente Roll and the Hotty Hotty Roll. They are both are packed with flavor and always perfectly prepared. Their ramen is also one of the best around! One thing that sets Sushi Pop apart is how kid-friendly and family-friendly they are. Our whole crew feels right at home here, and that's something you don't find everywhere. They also go above and beyond for first responders, police, fire, military, and law enforcement, and we appreciate that more than they know. On top of that, Sushi Pop even sponsored my son's school, which tells you everything about their commitment to the community. They're not just a restaurant, they're a place that truly cares about the people who walk in. Thank you, Sushi Pop, for all the great meals, great memories, and great service. This restaurant is always changing. It's a great location but unfortunately the food did not follow suit. The first thing you notice about this place is the 50% off everything sign. Or, you think that'd be the first thing you notice but somehow my wife and I both missed it entirely. So, you can imagine our surprise when we sat down at the bar and started looking over the menu. "$7 for 2 pieces of nigiri?! $10 for a hand roll?!? $6 FOR A COKE??!" We were both in growing disbelief as we went down the menu, but it wasn't until I hit the coke that I realized something was off. That's when I looked at the front window and made out a sign that read" 50% off..." and that's when it clicked. "Discount" aside, the food was just average and not worth going back for. The place was packed though. Judging from the outside, you'd think they have some amazing fish but for what it's worth, neither of us was wowed. The servers were SUPER friendly though, 5 stars easily. This is the only reason I feel bad giving an "OK" review. But just like their pricing model, I had to take 50% off. I was in the area for work and decided to pop into this spot for a quick bite. I ordered the sashimi salad, and at first, I was like, "$20 for a salad? Really?" But let me tell you--it was SO worth it. The amount of fish they give you is super generous, and it was incredibly fresh. Like, melt-in-your-mouth fresh. The flavors were on point, and it actually filled me up, which is saying a lot for a salad. Also, major props to the waiter! It was the lunchtime rush, and even though he had a few other tables, he was super attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. The restaurant itself felt really clean and welcoming, which is always a plus. Definitely planning to come back whenever I'm in the area again. Wow! Never seen a place so packed and yet so attentive! The servers were clearly running around but they seemed so energetic and happy to answer our questions, ( our 2nd eating sushi so we had a lot of questions). Our server recommended ordering a few rolls for ourselves since it would not be worth it to get the AYCE so we ended ordering Lobster Dynamite and the Alaskan roll. The Lobster Dynamite took a little tie to come out but considering how busy it was it was pretty quick! The roll was so nicely presented that I had to snap a quick pic before extinguishing the flame in the middle! LITERALLY FIRE! The Alaskan was really good too! Nice place! Not many clean all-you-can-eat places in the OC area to begin with especially one that has great food and etiquette service to match with it. Average ayce pricing for lunch and dinner. But above average quality of fish and freshness of ingredients, compared to that, the pricing is very affordable and quite cheap. I had a difficult time deciding which rolls to choose for each of my rounds since I wanted the best ones for my first time experience here. So our server (Sang, was his name!) helped so much with that, he was friendly and took his time to inform us in detail about the popularity and taste of some of the rolls. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and definitely will be back soon! read more

Sushi Pop is hands down one of the best sushi spots I've ever been to! The quality of the fish is outstanding--every bite is fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Came here with my family for some early lunch. The place was packed and saw that everyone was super busy. which is a good sign cuz that means the business is good ! The servers did take a little of their time but i couldnt blame them. They were working their butts off. Sean made sure to answer all of our questions and this other server made sure to check up on us every time he passed by. The food was amazing and came out super fast despite it being busy ! Highly recommened the lobster dynamite becuase that rolls literally on fire ! Overall a very good experience and couldnt recommened this place more. I am sushi killer First time come here to eat sushi with my friends. When i enter the restaurant, we are meet to server. table server she was name of Judith. She was really good service for our table. I steel thanks too much. And About food, I also work at another sushi place so i know how good qualities they have. Great quality and delicious! They have also all you can eat lunch is 21.99 / dinner 26.99 per person. And even have individual menu. Anyway, The servers are wonderful. Judith has such great service, friendly also. I've been coming here with my friend lunch time. We keep coming back because the staff always makes it a comfortable experience and are always welcoming, especially to new visitors! The service here is absolutely great. The servers Jiyon and Eric always sweet and friendly too. really nice people! The sushi overall is great. Always fresh and really presentable. My favorite to get is the alaskan and the hawaiin king :) Weekends can be very busy and the wait can come to around 30 minutes or so but once you're seated, your food comes quick! The experience at Sushi Pop was very interesting. One of our servers was amazing and really tried to cater to what rolls we wanted. This place is not the best sushi location for vegetarian rolls, but they did try to customize our rolls to what we wanted, which I really appreciate. The rolls itself were fine but not great. They looked beautiful but the flavor was bland and the sushi rice lacked flavor. Their hot sauce was also not great. It tasted slightly sweet, and I did not enjoy the sauce with the rolls. I don't think I'll be back, but I do appreciate the staff for trying to work with what we wanted. The ambiance was okay, and it did feel a bit loud for my taste. read more

I took couple of my friends to this restaurant on Friday night and I was a bit surprised because it was crowded. Considering the fact that it was opened 2 months ago, they were doing really good. They got the liquor license so they now serve beer, sake, and wine. Even though it was crowded, service was quick and the food was great. Daniel and MJ were very entertaining and nice. They gave us a small free roll, called James Special. My friend I were very satisfied with service and food. It seems like their fishes are really fresh so quality of sashimi, sushi, and rolls are amazing. I highly recommend this place!!! read more

I recently moved to Fullerton so have been looking for a good Sushi place and am so happy this place is opened near my house. I am very picky about Sushi because its raw food and if they use cheap or bad fish, i will get sick but this place knows how to satisfy my high expectation. Tips: Always sit at the Sushi bar because then chef is right in front of you that he will give you a lot of on the house specials. Not only service is good but very fresh and well decorated. If you like Oyster, OMG they have one of the best I ever had. Highly recomand Oyster. Overall five Stars by far. read more

Yo yo yo this sushi make me wanna pop lock and drop it and you know I can't stop it. I came to this spot thinking it was an Asian night club, but Bobbby S was wrong tho. This spot ain't even got a dance floor. They serve sushi it's so good they named it after the whole city and all the streets. They got a Fullerton roll, a Euclid roll you'll never get lost tryna to find this place jus look on their menu and you know it's on Euclid in Fullerton. My man Sang got the best service out there. I went to this place with few other friends few times and the service was exceeding the expectation,and the presentation of sushi along with the rolls was pleasantly looking. Since this place is newly open , I was bit hesitated to go . But, it is good that I actually went there to eat. The price is very fair and the sushi and rolls were very fresh. Unlike some sushi restaurants, everyone there is kind and professional. i can see that their qualities of sushi and service are great. I am looking forward to go back to place again to eat. Take Sushi is in an unassuming little shop in an industrial zone near the airport, mostly surrounded by car shops. At first, I thought I had the wrong address until I saw their sign. It's a very small store, staffed by a very sweet lady and a gentleman. I was the only person there--- I think it's mainly a pick-up type of spot. She was so nice, and when I got back to the car I noticed that every single container was neatly labeled with the name of the roll inside, and each had a cute little smiley face doodled on the styrofoam The food was SO fresh and delicious, and it was so nice to have extra utensils, napkins, and ginger to share. My particular favorite was the sexy roll (the name makes me laugh). It's this delicious little roll cut vertically, and each piece is wrapped with a silky thin cucumber slice. It was delightful! I only took pictures of the crispy tuna (because it was the first one to go---- after eating that one, I got lost in the sauce and forgot to take photos!). As you can tell in the picture, the portions of fish are generous and the quality is excellent. I will definitely return!
