But that's a drive. Decided to come here for Father's Day dinner celebration. It's been a good minute since we've had TKC along w seafood boil eatery w the fam bam. When arrived I put ourselves on the waiting list w the iPad provided. Within 10-15 mins our table was ready w a text to my phone. I was surprised for a holiday and around 5:15 we didn't have much long of a wait. What we ordered ~ Sweet potato Fries, Cajun fries & onion rings were all yummy crispy and on point. ~ kickin wings was crispy yummy and we just got the non flavored one for my kids. It was good. ~ garlic noodles were scrumptious and a must when here. Filled w a lot of fresh sautéed chopped garlic. It was so good and not dry nor overly greasy from the butter it was cooked in. Highly recommended. ~ We got the Kickin combo # 3 w Lobster for Father's Day dinner celebration. All the seafood was fresh. Got the mild spice level and it was perfect. Shrimp clams and lobster were all good. And the seasoning was deliciously finger lickin good to the T. Customer service was great, we were constantly checked on especially by i believe who to be the owner Cecelia. Only thing was they were a bit backed up on getting our main food out and I saw it also w other guests, the table behind and next to us. The guests wasn't too happy with the delay of getting their food and the associate kept coming over to apologize. Also giving them an update how much longer to expect. We too got our appetizers 1st within 15 mins of ordering but it took like almost half n hour to get our main items which was the Kickin combo 3 we ordered. Cecelia approached us and informed us the delay and offer us another order of garlic noodles and fries on the house for the long wait,, The restaurant is pretty big w 2 area of dining along w a pretty big outdoor patio dining area. It has a cute Louisiana style vibe and pretty clean. Have outdoor sink near the kitchen for guest to wash their hands only. Overall besides the delay of our main order. I'd definitely return here. This will be our regular TKC now since we're not too far. It's what we love about the Kickin crab. Parking in downtown Fullerton is a bit of a struggle especially on weekends and nights. We ordered on DoorDash tonight. I did call the store and asked if they had live crawfish in. I was told yes. We got the kickin combo #1 and we chose 2lbs of live crawfish and 1lb head on shrimp. They gave us 2lbs of FROZEN crawfish. It was "fishy" and the meat was rubbery. We eat a ton of crawfish and can instantly tell the difference. The shrimp was good and the sauce was good. The shrimp had lots of garlic and flavor without being too overwhelming, and the fries were crispy as always. One corn piece was a little tough/overcooked, but our waitress was very kind, apologetic, and quickly replaced it. Service was fast and attentive overall. Total came out to ~$60 before tip. This is my first time coming to this location. Place is very vibey, spacious, and clean. Staffs were friendly and accommodating. Celebrated my brother's birthday today. We ordered each a pound of mild shrimp with sausage and corn. Some chicken tinders with cajun fries and fried calamari. Im impressed their shrimp were big in size and cooked well (most of the time, shrimp were overcooked). Their chicken tenders were moist and tender (a lot of times, it's dry). At the end of our meal, our server gave my brother a slice of cheesecake with lit candle and sang happy birthday. Lol. Our server was awesome and he made sure we meet all our needs. Tried this Kickin Crab location in the city of Fullerton. Greeted and seated. Ambiance was cozy and comfortable. One of the cleanest Kickin Crab establishment I have visited. Ordered some Oysters, drinks, and Noodles. All were delivered within 10 to 15 minutes. Had the opportunity to meet the owners. I forgot their names, but they were very friendly and accommodating, always asking us if we were good. Ambiance was cozy and warm. Service was prompt and food was delicious. My classmates and I came here after our exams to celebrate and had such a good experience! The live crawfish and shrimp were sooo juicy and I appreciate how large they were! The restaurant is brand new, clean and huge. The decor is unique with lots of personal touch makes it feel really homey. Came here to find out, this was a new business (the previous one was a joke on how the portions were give by price). Right away you can tell the difference with service, extremely good! Very attentive, helpful. Even the owner came by to make sure things were on, that tells me a lot about how prideful this person is with their business! It was really clean and looked really nice and organized inside (as expected as it's a new business). Reason for the 4 stars were is the food was great (btw!) but it had waaayyyyy too much garlic of the sauces, and I mean WAY too much. Didn't taste bad, but you know what I mean. If I were to go again, I'll definitely ask for no garlic or easy garlic if that's even possible the next time I go to see if that makes the difference. Right off the bat, we've been to Kickin Krab a few times now which goes to show we are definitely fans. This place has the spiciest sauce by far which is amazing. When you get the spiciest flavor at mosts spots it ends up disappointingly mild but here I would genuinely warn anyone thinking of getting the spicy spicy level. Another thing I love is that the sauce isn't just pure heat, it has tons of flavor which just makes the shrimp or whatever seafood option you pick that much better. The sides here are great as well like the cajun fries and the garlic noodles. There's almost never a long wait and you get sat and have your order taken very quickly within minutes. Our waiter kept checking in to make sure everything was perfect, and the service never fell off even with a big group. What really stood out was the owner personally coming by to thank us for coming in -- super genuine and welcoming. They were out of Mango Kart because their supplier didn't bring any in (totally not their fault), but she went out of her way to make me a custom michelada instead. First time at a Kickin' Crab location and it was a great experience. We ordered 1lb CF(they were frozen), 1lb clam and a snow crab leg KC extra spicy flavor. The flavor and spice was 5star. Tho the CF was frozen.. they were a good sizes. The clams were small and most of the shell were empty.. I'm assuming they are at the bottom of the bag. We also ordered a dozen oyster... small but deep .. had to ask for horseradish and spoon. Now, my least favorite item. The Reg fries they are small cut, tasteless and dry...
