Nth time back. Hand rolls are consistently good. Fav is kanpachi handroll - shiso flavor is nice touch. Scallop hand rolls are really great. Usually not a fan of small scallops but their flavors so umami and fresh. Highly recommend ama ebi sushi. Their deep fried shrimp heads are so crispy and yummy. Suntory malt lacks their signature foam when they pour it :(

First time we were here, they got us seated and took our orders quickly. We got the 4 hand rolls with a negitoro roll, and the ikageso. It came with miso soup. The hand rolls came out quickly and with a good pace. The place wasn't too busy and had a nice ambience. It's bar seating with a seat or two that's lower. Would go here again.

I'm honestly not ashamed to say that I've been here 4 times in the last week. Came for lunch and midday meals and it's not usually busy. The service is fantastic! We truly enjoy chatting with Rodolfo and he's an amazing sushi chef! Cannot recommend Ato enough!

Super underrated and tasty hand roll place. Has arguably better food than ROL handroll bar but with amazing service. In a quiet plaza, this place stuck out on my Yelp page and thought to give it a try. The fish so fresh and tasty, perfect condiments to bring each piece to its max potential. Unagi with teriyaki(?) sauce Yellowtail with Yuzu Kosho Halibut with 초장 (cho gochujang) Only has bar seats but definitely a vibe for after work, a date, or just a place to unwind and have a glass of beer with some good sushi/hand rolls. Give this place a try!

Very good first experience here! The happy hour menu is very affordable and a great way to try a few different things. We went with the handroll sets today and everything was really good. My favorite was the blue crab handroll by far. Service was friendly and it's great seeing the rolls made in front of you. Inside was super clean and well decorated.

I came here for lunch and was so impressed. The quality of the fish is really good. I ordered the 4 piece handroll set (not happy hour) and it was only $22. My favorite was the unagi! The location is kind of tucked away in a small plaza, but the ambiance is really nice, staff is attentive, food is good, and the prices are very good. I definitely need to come back to enjoy the happy hour specials!

Really fresh high quality fish used, great flavor in the hand rolls and sushi. I love that they keep it simple in the best way and just focus on doing the important things well. No overcomplicated bloated menu, just great tasting sushi and hand rolls all for great value.

This is the second time my daughter and I have been here in two weeks, and we came away even more satisfied than the first time. Our sushi chef Rudolfo was incredible, so friendly and personable, and remembered us when we walked in the door. The rolls are the best we've ever had, the fish is so fresh and the atmosphere so enjoyable. I'm already thinking of the next time we come back!

The food quality is delicious and beautifully presented! Never had a hand roll in this long cigar like shape. Love the yuzu flavored sauce. The staff is very friendly. Clean, cute bathrooms. I came back a second week in a roll just to dine solo

I absolutely loved the hand rolls here! I tried the 4-hand roll set with halibut, bluefin tuna, salmon, and scallop, everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu. The service was attentive and thorough, and the ambiance is great. It's an intimate spot with just a few bar seats, which I really liked. They also have restrooms available and provide a nice cloth to wipe your hands at the end of the meal!

We went for our first time on a Friday night at 8:30pm. Bar seating only, and it looks like it's first come first serve. While there were a few parties seated, there was still availability for our party of 2. If anything, you'll experience a short wait as service is fast. We both went with five hand rolls which comes with miso soup. You can select which handroll you'd like with a paper menu provided. Each handroll we've had was delicious! You can't go wrong with the yellowtail and the spicy albacore handroll!

    1. The hand rolls were well-crafted! I really like the quality of the fish cuts! 2. The spot has chill casual vibes! The interior is cozy! 3. There is only indoor seatings! They only have counter seating! 4. The staff was friendly and timely with our order! The miso soup came out first, and then they bring out the hand rolls one by one! 5. Parking lot is small! Spots are single-lined and not compact! Note: There is a restroom available for customers! Photo: Miso Soup, Salmon Hand Roll, Crunch Hand Roll, Yellowtail Hand Roll, and Spicy Albacore Hand Roll

My sister and I had a fantastic dinner here a while back, and I forgot to do a review. The service was wonderful and the food was great. My personal favorites were the classic salmon handroll and the eel. The yuzu sauce was some of the best ive had. The sake bottles were adorable. Ambiance was busy, as this is a tiny bar. My sister loves mocktails, and they had a great selection. Id love to come back again.

My son took me to Akashiro for my birthday. What a treat this was!!…read more He ordered the full omakase experience for us. I didn't know what to expect, but WOW! It's a like a dining adventure. Fifteen courses that are surprises because even tho there's a "template" of types of dishes, each one is ultimately the chef's choice. As each course was brought out, our waiter did an excellent job of describing what each item was and it's place of origin. Fifteen courses is alot to try to remember each specific dish so I decided to stay in the moment (after I snapped a pic) and enjoyed each one as we had them and talked about the flavor profiles and what we liked best about it. When my son had made the reservation he must have told them we were celebrating my birthday because in addition to the regular dessert course, our server brought me a birthday dessert which included green tea ice cream and a slice of matcha cheesecake. The full omakase experience was delicious and so fun! I told my son that it was like an advent calendar ~ each course we "opened" had us saying "ooo, how yummy" and left us with almost giddy anticipation of what we'd discover next. If you're looking for something fun and unique for a special occasion, I highly recommend the full omakase experience at Akashiro!

It's a Saturday and husband was ready for sushi. I had another place in mind, but they didn't take…read morereservations and we're not about to chance it and wait. So we found this place and it was in the same vicinity and yay, they took reservations. Made reservations same day for a 18:30 seating. Service is impeccable. We were welcomed with hot towels, and this impressed me: when our server asked if we wanted cold or hot water. Love it! We opted for hot, better for digestion :) Our libation: Kubota sake - semi dry, rich, clean Our dishes: Assorted sashimi (16 pcs) - omakase. No soy sauce needed. Chef prepared with delicious flavors in mind. Tiger scallops - served in a what appears to resemble petrified wood, carved into a long boatlike dish. Hokkaido shrimp, cilantro oil, chilaquita (Peruvian onion relish), sweet potato crisp, smoke aji Amarillo (Peruvian yellow chili) Leche de tigre (rich emulsion of limes, Peruvian spices and chilis) - A complexity of flavors that comes together so completely. Eat with spoon. The delicate potato crisp finishes the bite with a little crunch. Udon picante - bell peppers, quinoa and 2 jumbo shrimp. Love the heat level. Comfort food at its best. Salmon parmesan - Nikkei sushi - seared salmon, parmesan bitter, eel sauce , arare, lime. Amazing. O toro sushi - the fattiest cut of tuna. Eat as is. Again chef prepared. No added seasoning required. Parri maki - fried shrimp, cream cheese, seared tuna topped with chimichurri, aji amarillo, chalaquita, ponzu. Food experience was enhanced by their impeccable taste in music. Super chill, soft beats stream the restaurant. With its perfect lighting too sets all the good moods for us. Don't wait for this fine dining experience of Japanese and Peruvian fusion. Note: when they ask if you want soy sauce, say No, thank you. It would be a shame to kill the taste of a beautiful dish with any added sauce. Kampai! Salud!

YES it's AYCE The first thing I tried was the miso soup …read more.. it was so good ! Right away I knew the food was going to be delicious! They really pay attention to detail the mussels are easy to eat because they detach it from the shell I really appreciate that. The cuts of fish were perfect and they don't put a lot of rice . Super fresh delicious ! I The ice cream is also really delicious perfect texture and not too sweet ! Apparently it's so good that the couple next to my husband and me ordered their ice cream first. Also the servers were so friendly attentive and welcoming ! The chefs were also so nice when we arrived and left ! I say this because our former AYCE we had to stop because the service was terrible bad vibes. So I'm so glad we found this place .. I wanted to keep it a secret but they deserve the love and business . Are we coming back !?! Hellll yeah! LOL!

V is super sweet!!…read more Did AYCE, so we got a variety of foods. Jalapeño popper - not spicy outside of the drizzled siracha. Stuffed with cream cheese (and maybe Krab) Mussels-hit or miss on the "fishy-ness" flavor. These didn't have it and were really good today! Fried calamari is ALWAYS a hit! Garlic butter salmon and garlic butter shrimp was barely brushed with garlic butter but good. Eel was good and had great flavor! Learned what a Fire bomb was today (fried crawfish, scallops, onion, jalapeño topped with eel sauce and sweet mayo) - too sweet for me so get the sauce on the side Tofu is topped with fish flakes. Very mild flavor, if any. Comes out HOT! Baked volcano is melt. In. Your. Mouth. We had lots of yellowtail sushi lol only downside is how long it takes to get it, I'm assuming so your food settles and you eat less-which sucks because you'll get charged for it if you don't finish!
