Horrible experience for the second time!! We placed an order to-go and the order arrived incorrectly an hour later. They tried to blame us for the incorrect order. Spoke to the manager Ricky and he insured it would be a speedy delivery. 40mins later (in addition to the 1hr wait) and we still haven't received our correct order. Horrible!!!!! I ordered from them at least 6 times in this last 8 months and they called me today because a grub order guy was trying to pick up and they didn't have my order. So they called me to ask me and I thought I seeing that I get a text confirmation from grubhub telling me the orders is in, and I've ordered from them several times in the past few months, but the manager was so adamant about telling me how they do not have A contract with grubhub. I've asked him is it possible maybe vice have cancelled it and he said no we never had 1. So apparently all my orders that I have been receiving have been ghosts. Epic Service Disappointment. This is our place to go for sushi and we're regulars, because it's close by and everything is usually good. The service was horrible yesterday, so bad that I wanted walk out before we received our drinks. It only got worse after that. There were only two tables with a total of 5 guests in the entire restaurant when we ordered, another table of two arrived 10min after we ordered and they were given water and drinks before we received ours and same for the sushi. We were not give proper place settings until we asked, and we had to ask for each individual place setting piece. We had ordered four sushi rolls for the two of us, I was given one of my wife's sushi rolls and told it was mine. I could continue. The only redeeming factor was the sushi, it was top notch, and that's the only reason I gave the two stars I did. read more

Because they don't have a cash register with coins to make change or because they are too stupid to do the math?!?! I've ordered 3 times from here & 3 times it's been a miss. 1st time it was an over the phone order for pick up. When I got home my bobby salad was anything but fresh, this has never happen to me at any other locations. 2nd time was a delivery order & besides getting the wrong rolls it looked like 3 year old had rolled them. The 3rd and final time was also a delivery, they were offering a special of 1/2 off the angel roll so I decided to give it another try. If you're having late night sushi munchies when all other sushi places have closed for the evening, Sushi Sake is the place to come to. Otherwise, there are better options for sushi in Miami. That being said, they offer your basic rolls as well as some specialties The food is always fresh and consistent, the place itself is clean with a modern decor, and service is always fast and friendly. One thing I truly don't like that seems to be similar across all their locations is the loud club type/hip hop/ dance music blasting in the background. Some locations even having a tv playing the music videos. I guess it makes sense since when they first opened they were probably trying to appeal to the younger crowd just coming home hungry after a night on the town but it can get a bit annoying if you're trying to have an actual conversation with your dining buddy. Messed up my order twice and were being rude about it. I'm not one to get bothered easily but this really upset me. I spent over $100 on an order and they forgot all the sauces (which I paid for). They also forgot the sauces that came with the meals. The shrimp sauce comes with every fried rice and they failed to deliver that as well. After I spoke with their delivery they told me they would send me the sauces again but they also messed that order up. I ordered 11 sauces in total and were only willing to give me 7. But I understand the place just opened so there is a learning curve. But that's not the reason for the three stars. It was the manager. When he was asked about the up charge for a special request his reply was that was a corporate decision not his. Fair enough, but when my wife asked him these questions he remained seated, his manners had clearly escaped him. The rest of the staff was amazing, maybe he should take a lesson from them. Ordered at this location for the first time and it was just not good at all. I ordered a Bagel Tempura Roll and they did the sloppiest job ever. Considering that sushi sake has become huge, their work should be just as good. It looked disgusting you can see grease coming out of the roll and it just look so unappetizing. The vegetable fried rice was just as bad. Greasy, oily and not good at all. This is why the location on bird road or the hammocks is always my go to because their work is always phenomenal and on point. Sushi sake Killian, never again.
