The restaurant has a large menu featuring different ramen (dry or w/ soup) and rice dishes, as well as appetizers. I tried their steamed vegetable dumplings and the pork ribs dry ramen. Both dishes were fantsastic. It was the first time that I had dumplings filled with endamame+minced garlic. It was savory and slightly sweet. The meat in the ramen was fork-tender and full of umami; the ramen was chewy; and it was served with a wide variety of fresh vegetables (zucchin, broccoli, carrot, onions, green onions, corn, microgreens, pickled ginger). The ramen was ~5oz. PS: the noodles are salty -- ramens are meant to be salty. Service was awesome. Several things that my server impressed me: 1. He asked me about my food allergies -- important for seafood-dense restaurants like a Japanese restaurant. 2. I asked for some extra ramen when I just got the entree. He suggested to bring me the extra when I almost finish the ramen in my entree. Surprisingly, he brought a small bowl of ramen exactly when I was about to finish it -- very precise and customer-oriented. 3. Food was served in a reasonable amount of time. 4. When he was taking the order of another table, he gave recommendations to the customers based on their dietary preferences, instead of blindly mentioning the "signature dishes" like most servers do. Moreover, when the customers ordered food, he squat down to listen what they said carefully. So, yes, I speak highly of this restaurant. Definitely recommend it. And I will dine in it again next time I visit Naples.

We walked to Tin City from the free parking structure just off 5th Avenue and, while we found the area mildly interesting, we didn't like any of the typical joints along the water. Besides, having eaten at Dockside in Venice the day prior, we were looking for something other than seafood. In looking at Yelp, we were intrigued by Ichi Togarishi so we walked back towards 5th Avenue. Located just off 5th Avenue, this small place would be quite easy to miss. Upon entering, we realized how snug this place was. We were seated promptly and presented the menu. My wife ordered the Chicken Veggie Shoyu Soy Ginger and I had the Chashu Belly Garlic Noodle. We both liked our dishes, with complex, bold flavors. The Chashu belly was tender with sweetness and soy flavor shining thru. Its flavor profile reminded me of Pad Thai. A very nice find in Naples!

I arrived a bit early - around 3:10 - and by 3:25 a small crowd had already started to gather, which tells you something about how popular this place is. Despite a little drizzle, people were eager to get in, and I quickly understood why. This was my first visit to Lola 41, and I was immediately struck by the space. The ambiance when you walk in is absolutely fabulous - beautifully designed and full of energy. The doors opened right at 3:31, and the bar filled up fast. As it turned out, they were celebrating their 2-year anniversary, which I had no idea about, but the buzz in the room made it feel like a special occasion. The bartending staff handled the rush with impressive efficiency - drinks were coming out quickly even as the place packed in. I thoroughly enjoyed my cocktail, and it delivered exactly what I was hoping for. I also ordered off the happy hour menu, and while there was a small mix-up with my food (completely understandable given the volume and the anniversary excitement), the staff was absolutely wonderful about it. They accommodated my request to have my order packed to go without any hesitation - and I have to say, once I got back to my hotel and dug in, I was not disappointed at all. For anyone visiting the Naples area, I highly recommend making Lola 41 a stop, even if just for happy hour. Grab a cocktail, try an appetizer, and I promise it will leave you wanting to come back for a full dinner. The fish is not fishy at all. It is meaty but light and flaky. They give a good sized portion. The pimento cheese is to die for. I can't believe how much of it I ate on my last visit. Then we have the key lime pie. Wow. Double wow. It has a burnt sugar topping similar to creme brulee. The filling is light and tart. The pie ties with Sweet Melissas. The interior is super cute. After pondering the possibilities, our evening went like this: *Cocktails: "Take two" for her: Strawberry-Infused Botanist Gin, Mango, Citrus Basil, Foam; a bourbon old-fashioned for him: Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon, Aperol, Simple Syrup, Angostura Aromatic Bitters (a cherry too, perhaps Luxardo). *We made the strategic decision to avoid soups/salads to make sure there was room for dessert, and went directly to entrees: Chilean Sea Bass (best seller, we hear) for her: Broccolini, Pearl Onion, Potato Puree, Truffle Vinaigrette; and the Halibut special with gnocchi for him. It was very rich and decadent. I also suggest the gouda tater tots and truffle mac & cheese. I'd skip the creamed spinach as it lacked flavor and was a bit runny. The ambiance was high energy, great for big parties and dates as well. Perhaps the seafood entrees may be better as I did notice other parties ordering those items. But to compare to other steakhouses, I don't think I can give it a positive review.
