Baked Lobster & garlic edamame with miso soup & Diet Pepsi
    Lizarely Q.

Had for work lunch and omg, why didn't I try this place out sooner. I went with the Baked Lobster, miso soup & Diet Pepsi. My roll was huge and delicious. Miso soup & edamame hit the spot & the drink was cute, came w a lemon slice which I thought was cute.

I am blown away by the quality of the fish at Sushi Station. Have I stated that the fish at other places were fresh? Well, I clearly didn't know what "fresh" and "quality" fish truly tasted like. Sushi Station is top tier. With all of the varieties of fish I tried here, every piece was as good- if not better- than the previous one. The chef clearly has a passion for his craft and has pride in what he serves. The environment is so relaxed and fun and there is clear rapport between the staff and the customers. This place is worth the visit regardless of where you are coming from!

On our way to a play at King High again and could wait to stop in here again. Everything was great just see the pictures. We will be back.

Never had better sushi/rolls until tonight! The waitress was very nice and saw my daughter struggling with her chopsticks and offered her trainers! And food was on point I totally recommend this place! The environment was nice and I have absolutely no complaints. PS: Wish they had pics on menus And coke products

Our meals were served around the same time and waiters regularly checked on our refills and if we needed anything. At one point, music turned loud and lights flashed, to celebrate someone's bday so something to be aware of that they do. Overall, our dining experience was satisfying. I was a big fan of the salmon carpaccio and the super sexy bowl. The fish tasted fresh and portions are large so you get your moneys worth. My companion did mention that their bulgogi had more onion than meat which was visibly notable. Definitely aim to visit again and will recommend this spot to others.

I'm currently pregnant and before I enjoyed going out for sushi at our normal location south of the 210. However, I prefer to stay as local as possible nowadays and try to find places that I can enjoy. I am obsessed with the "Golden California" rolls, and if you don't know what that is, it is a California roll that is fried in tempura batter. I can't always find a place with that style roll and when we happened upon this place our very first time, I saw that they offered the roll. Well, let's fast forward to present, and our order is usually always the same. Husband and I share a Golden California roll, a ramen we feel like having spicy, some mixed tempura with shrimp and then he will choose a roll that's more on the raw fish side. I actually changed it up our last visit l because I did not realize they had a Spicy Golden California, and that roll was very good. I'd definitely get that one again when we are on a sushi run. My sister and my nephew are also sushi people, and they have never been to this spot. I took some sushi to go, and they actually enjoyed it. They too are used to the other spot we frequent, but this is perfect for just my husband and I as we do t consume too much to warrant a visit to the spot we usually go to. If you're in the area, looking for a sushi spot, I'd recommend it. I know they offer other items, we just haven't decided to try anything other than our usual mix.

The texture of the salmon was melt in you mouth. I totally forgot the names of the items I got but the salmon rolled crab meat was my favorite along with the Salmon belly. the sushi roll i got was recommended by our waitress it was good although I wished that they had used a little less i'm assuming sesame oil in the sauce because the flavor of peanut was a bit overwhelming and overshadowed the flavor from the Salmon and Tuna :/ . The fish is fresh, which makes it better than grocery store sushi for about the same price. The menu is mostly California rolls with various toppings or sauces. There's not much variety. I wouldn't expect to see many creative or specialty rolls here. I personally prefer getting takeout because the ambiance inside is a bit rough. Every time I've been in there it looked serviceably clean though, so I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to it if I was too hungry to make the drive back home. On my first visit, I decided to try a hand roll for the first time ever as I didn't want to just be eating multiple different California rolls. I'd always avoided ordering them because I assumed they'd be a rip-off with barely any fish. I'm really glad I did though! Mine was stuffed with at least four or five big, thick pieces of salmon sashimi inside. It was only a few bucks but it was a much better deal than ordering nigiri or sashimi. It also had cucumber and crab so it was more flavorful than just plain fish. I have no frame of reference for how hand rolls are usually made but I'd definitely recommend them here, at least!

There have been times the staff seems high and blown out of their minds. Other times they are too busy chatting up with coworkers to acknowledge or provide even the basic decency of customer service. Then, more often than not you are treated almost as a bother. Due to the service here, I have stopped dining in and opt for calling a phone order to take out. On three separate occasions now, within the last 3 months, they have neglected the phones for orders. They would rather disconnect or turn off the phone completely to avoid any future orders. This comes as a surprise when in about 10 minutes of my first attempted call, I see a staff of four people, yet only one customer. I believe there was no excuse as to why they could not answer the phone. I confirmed they accept take out orders essentially until closing. I have always been mindful to not attempt to order within 30 minutes of them closing. The service here is appalling and truly diminishes their potential for how great the spot could be considering the food they have. Food on the other hand is a total opposite of the service, very flavorful and strong punch of spice at a level 3. My go to is the Wonton ramen with a miso base. Crispy rice is a great starter to share. The garlic ramen is also a great contender if you have a garlic craving. Open layout feels like a mom and pop shop. Overall pretty clean establishment. Occasional tweaker going in for the bathroom closer to the end of the night.

I do wish they offered more condiments on the table so you can adjust the broth to your liking--spicy, savory, etc. My food took a little while to come out, but it ended up being worth the wait. The price was also a big plus: $13.99 for a bowl of ramen, a sushi roll, and a drink is a great deal. My wife ordered two rolls--the Salmon on Fire and the Caterpillar Roll. Both were tasty and comparable to what we've had at other sushi spots. We also tried the gyozas, which were average. Customer service could use some improvement. Our waitress wasn't rude, but she seemed rushed and tried to take our order almost immediately after we sat down. Since it was our first time, we needed a moment to look over the menu.
