It was our first time here and on a Sunday night @ 6pm, we didn't have reservation but was sat right away in the corner booth overlooking the bar. Pros: there is a huge selection of food on the menu to choose from, obviously from Thai to Sushi. Cons: the roll we ordered was far from impressive, the rice was over cooked and the protein were minimal. Tasted pretty bland versus fresh. The larb Kai - minced chicken over lettuce lacked flavor as compare to really good Thai places. This place just miss the mark for both sushi and Thai. It's more of a place for people who are not real sashimi/ sushi eaters. Great for sushi beginners. I wouldn't recommend this place for those who are true foodies and enjoys good and fresh rolls. Absolutely the most poorest quality, presentation and overall taste I've experienced for Thai food in Naples and on 5th Ave. Way too many great dining options to ever waste money on this place again We ordered meals for 4 people to be delivered. We received cheap, overcooked proteins with the sauces on the side with scant vegetables. They forgot to put our rice in the order. Spring rolls were okay, which is why they get one star. read more

Food was okay. I went with a safe choice (Unagi Don) but my family all got different dishes (pad Thai and green curry. But service was impeccably slow-we sat outside with only one server-and we didn't even get menus when we sat down. Sushi was all backed up and it took us a while to get everything we had ordered, and even 45 minutes to order our main dishes! Food came out quickly so that's a place. But aside from me no one else liked their food. The seating outside is also very small because of the proximity of the street and the amount of people walking around us. So glad Sushi Thai Too has been open for takeout right now. I've both dined in and ordered takeout here. I had a great experience both times. I sat in the wooden carved booth inside, which was fun. When I ordered takeout, my order was ready 10 minutes early, even though they were currently processing literally 15+ other takeout orders for the same time (I saw all the bags neatly lined up at the front with someone attending to people coming in for their pick up). The Spicy Tuna roll and JB Roll we're both excellent--generous amount of fish, good texture rice, and everything tasted so fresh. Price for rolls is also reasonable, and it's the best sushi quality I've found in Naples. Their curries are also delicious, and they serve homemade fresh Thai iced tea (with REAL half and half, if you take yours with cream), not the over-sweet bottled stuff at many restaurants. read more

We usually love this place but we just left and they were not accommodating at all we ordered 3 sushi rolls and I asked for eel on top and my sister wanted salmon on top and she was trying to charge us a ton and we understand they have to charge you for extra stuff but not $10 for extra stuff. This is the worst Sushi and Thai restaurant. The staffs are very rude especially the manager her name is Ms. Song I saw her yell at her staffs and also grab the hostess by the arm. She has no right to touch her employees..As for the waitresses and sushi chefs never smiled and have an attitude. We don't feel comfortable dining here. I'm mixed and I understand all the bad thing the staffs are talking about me and my family. This is a dining atmosphere. I also worked in hospitality and this place is not professional. We will not come here to have dinner because all the staffs are rude and they don't make you feel welcome. I hope upper management will fixed this problem. There are many more Japanese and Thai restaurants out there where the staffs are nice and food are delicious. read more

Best sushi place in Naples, FL? Not sure, I'm not from around here and haven't tried any other places, but wow this place was delicious! I ordered the lunch special (Sushi, sashimi, Cali roll, and chicken teriyaki) and was blown away by the quality and portion size. The miso soup was well above average and was included. For the price ($13-14), I haven't had such good sushi. Our mixed drinks were delicious as well, very impressive!! Not impressed. we ordered drinks and food and the food came before the drinks, which still took about 20 minutes. One of the drinks was made incorrectly and when we informed the waiter, he responded by saying, "You're not from around here, are you? Because you complain a lot." when the drink was all we complained about. We didn't even mention how long it took to get our drinks or that the rice in the maki roll was mushy. Been here a few times when visiting Naples. Really good service and the food is usually decent. I would give it four stars but I had a really bad dish at my last visit. I ordered the vegetable sushi combo. Came with veggie hand roll, veggie roll, and veggie sashimi. The sashimi was just cooked vegetables on top of rice. Not seasoned. Just raw asparagus/spinach/cucumber/etc. Everything on that plate was bland. If you're going to offer a veggie sushi, why not attempt to make it palatable? read more

Probably about 30 min later the server came to pick up our empty app dishes and said, "so are you guys ready for your entrees or....????" What the heck?! Yes, we are ready?! Oh my God this was literally the worst thai -- scratch that --Asian food I have ever had! It didn't even taste remotely like Asian food. It was just disgusting. The noodles were soggy and overcooked and didn't even taste like normal rice noodles. They had a very strange aftertaste and strange texture. Great place to get Sushi and Thai in Naples. We heard good things about this place and we greatly enjoyed our food. Ambience is the key to this place. It does not feel over commercialized but it does not feel overly Chinese diner either! The staff is friendly and prompt. They we able to answer our questions and overall we were very comfortable. I got the 3 musketeers. It was on the special menu. Fried tempura with salmon, white fish, crab, cream cheese and avocado. I was really really impressed! My fiancée got the sea angel roll. It was also on the special menu. This tempura dish was also exceptional. The hot saki complimented our food very well for the rainy evening. My fiancées uncle got a chicken dish. This was the 2nd time he ordered chicken here. Both times it was a bit rubbery, or so we were told. I tasted some. It was not the most tender, but it was still very enjoyable. Overall this place is in top 5 sushi places I have been to in recent history. I suspect we will be back in the next couple of visits to Naples. read more

It was Christmas Day and we are Chosen Ppl, so gathering around fancily decorated shrubbery isn't really our thing - I mean no disrespect in this - but mention it only to set the stage for our arrival at STT, which, naturally, was shortly after our obligatory Christmas Day movie date. Normally we'd be at a straight up Chinese place; however, as we're new to Naples and Stevo said he'd eaten decent lunch here, we decided to head into STT for some Asian flare to get as close to our Christmas Day tradition as we could. Entered into a zoo - though there were many other places along 5th open, it was a madhouse - thankfully, we had made a resi the day before, which, as it's "season" now, I highly rec if you're looking to go btwn 5-7p, Naples prime-time. Seated quickly, server took at least 7-10min to roll up, but given the busyness, fine. The menu is split into ...wait for it .... Japanese AND Thai food (genius naming). Thai starters range from veggie spring rolls to "jumping seafood" (shrimp, squid w lemongrass, onions, pepper, lime juice) and the standard green papaya salad. We hit the aforementioned salad - it was fine - the peanuts untoasted, the dressing without much tang - it had more heat than delicate flavor - I didn't finish it, a rarity for me. If you're staying in Bangkok for your mains, you can have either tom yum or tom kha soup (herby/lemongrass w shrooms, +/- coconut milk). They have a host of sautees w vaguely Thai sauces (fresh ginger, Thai basil, cashew) as well as curries (massamoan, red, green, panang) - judging by the number of orders going out, the large bowls of curry are the way to go. Oh, and Pad Thai and Pad See-ew noodley things - though I actually didn't see much of those ordered. If travelling to Japan, you can start w a miso, gyoza, shumai, grilled yellowtail collar, edamame, tataki, age dashi tofu, or edamame (which admittedly, we tapped and were fairly decent - though v hard to actually eff up). For the non-sush eater who is committed to going to olde Nippon, they have many types of protein smothered in teriyaki sauce, veg/chicken/shrimp tempura, yaki-soba, soba, udon, and donburi. Didn't see any go out - but probably a safe, snoozy bet? For sushi, if you want to keep it simple w a little nigiri, you can - but if you want to take it to the next level, you may be interested in the salmon tempura roll (salmon, krab, asparagus, eel sauce), caliente roll (fried snapper, avo, cuc, masago, spicy mayo), kiss roll (escolar, tuna, avo, scallions, asparagus), or a beauty and the beast (tuna, eel, sallions, avo, asparagus, masago) - that said, they also have normal shizz like salmon, avo, and tuna rolls. Service was perfectly fine but nothing amazing - portions were adequate but everything was $1-2 more than the quality merited. Prices aren't online so I honestly don't remember - din for 3 with wine was around $120 - edamame, 2 green papaya salads (around $11 each, seemed steep), 2 basil scallops ($18 each), and one miso yellowtail ($ around the same) - idk, I just felt like all the flavors were a bit bland, portions appropriate to share if you're getting a curry with rice, but our entrees were adequate for one Newman each, so it gets pricey quickly, depending how you order.
