Listen Sushi Tokorro is a hidden treasure. I LOVE sushi. This sushi is fresh, tasty, and melts in your mouth. The desserts are scrumptious! I tried carrot cake and chocolate mouse cake this visit. Omg!!! Out of this world. Edamame, fruit assortment, just wonderful. I gave it 4 stars simply because most drinks were sodas and the lemonade is carbonated. They had just ran out or Raspberry tea when I ordered it and it's only 7p in the evening. Otherwise great food and service. Thank you, we will be back. read more

Great Happy Hour prices! Regular prices are 50 cents more per tier. Nice pricing and decent food. I brought my son to this revolving sushi restaurant this evening for dinner. Parking is available behind the restaurant. Enter through alleys on either side of the restaurant. It is super convenient. The restaurant is larger than it seems on the outside. Only one half of the restaurant was open to the public on this weekday night. We just missed Happy Hour by 5 minutes, but we still found prices pretty affordable, and the sushi is alright. They offer several items at their lowest tier: California Roll, Snow Crab Roll, Tamago Nigiri, Red Snapper Nigiri (pretty fresh and cut well with minimal sinew). One of the higher priced items that I enjoyed was their baked scallop over California roll. Tip: If you like gyoza dumplings, order a fresh batch from the server when you first get in. It is worth the wait. $2.50 for 5 dumplings with sauce. Maguro nigiri was a little pricier. Make sure that it looks fresh and of good color for optimal pieces. We also enjoyed a couple of pieces of seared albacore tuna. We stuffed ourselves for $29. read more

This place has gone down hill. I HATE leaving negative reviews but I wanted to give my honest opinion especially since I've come here a lot over the years & I used to be a big fan. When it was called "Sushi Station" it was a lot better! The last 2 times I've come now, it's been really disappointing. And unfortunately, the last time, my friend ended up getting food poisoning. Now this isn't a reflection on the staff. They have always been kind & provided good service! But the food has gotten smaller, stale, & it just doesn't taste right. When I was here just a couple of days ago & bit into an egg roll, it was cold & slimy. A lot of the rolls I usually like, didn't taste the same & overall it wasn't satisfying. Tokoro didn't have a huge array of options rolling by when we were there but still plenty of good things that had me asking my friends "hey grab that one for me!". Restaurant was very clean and the people working were quite friendly. Didn't need reservations on a Friday evening (around 5pm) though it certainly seemed to pick up in there about an hour later. Good just not great. I loved the ambiance and old school feel of this revolving sushi bar! The place is a bit outdated but that's a cool vibe nonetheless. My whole family loved this restaurant! My kids thought it was such a great concept and have been asking to go back many times since our last visit. With that being said, their food and treats are good! They have a big selection and if you don't see what you want, you can order it from your server. You can also order meals through your server if you're not in the mood for sushi. Their prices are perfect for any budget, just make sure you keep track of your plates. They also have happy hour from 3-5pm but I don't remember through what days, so check their site out for that information! Overall we loved this location. The people who work there are friendly and the sushi chefs know what they're doing. I know it's conveyor belt sushi but honestly it's one of the very few places in Phoenix that's actually really good sushi. After trying a good 20+ places here, sushi station and orient sushi grill are the only two that I'll go back to. I do wish their prices were more on par with orient sushi as they do Ayce and it's about 25$ or Ayce with nigiri option is only like 30$ ish! But they are pretty far out from me, so this is my go to! I love their chicken fried rice, it's better than any restaurant I've tried, even Vegas ones. It's very fresh and yummy! This place is amazing I love the set up and how the rotation of the sushi plates are easily colored for clear pricing. Nice variations how ever wish the portions were slightly bigger. The staff is very sweet and helpful. Definitely the Vegas roll and tempura is a favorite of mine here but loved the culture snacks that are available as well. read more

You get what you pay for. Actually, i dont even know if you get what you pay for. To start, my salmon was paper thin. They tried to cut it so thin that it had a hole in the middle.... seriously? I left the restaurant semi-full and my bill came out to $39. Honestly, 90% of rolls are jam packed with rice and fake crab meat. Id rather go to a better sushi restaurant and pay 30-40+ for something high quality. I mean, id be full after eating 1 great roll priced at $13-16.. and maybe couple nigiris for $8-10. Service, however, was wonderful i did leave 20% tip. I hope servers get paid higher hourly rate than most restaurants cause i can see food quality affecting their tip and its not their fault that the restaurant is cheap with ingredients. read more

To get to the bathroom you have to walk into around the conveyor belt and it felt a little strange. Plates range from $2.00 up, and the dishes are presented with their ingredients and prices on the conveyor belt. Overall, there is nothing wrong with the restaurant. At the same time, there is nothing outstanding about the place either. I had an hour for lunch - I was seated, I was able to eat my fill and pay, and I was able to get back to work in that time. This was the most disappointing experience at a restaurant I've ever had. The customer service was almost nonexistent. We had to ask one of the cooks to take our order! But worst of all, the food was HORRIBLE. Every single thing we ate was cold and soggy/mushy. Usually sushi makes me feel satisfied, but this sushi made me feel bloated and gross. Ok so very inviting an kid friendly I had a 12yr old that thought this food cruising by was greatest thing since Snapchat. The usual deal different color plates are different prices. A friend and I were in the mood for a fast-casual place that wasn't hard on the wallet and I suggested Sushi Station because I knew we both love some sushi. Granted this isn't fine dining sushi, but who cares. This is a revolving sushi place that has sushi rotating right by you, no need to order anything off a menu, it's a fun dining, so grab a plate. Each plate has a price attached to it and it could add up quickly. They have many selections to choose from, I even saw a rare breed of sushi pass by me called carrot cake haha, sadly I was already stuffed and couldn't grab it, but Ill get it the next time!
