We had previously been to a different revolving sushi bar (Yen sushi at FLR/101.) and had a great experience. I was on a mother daughter date today down on Camelback. She had never been to one, and I told her that the one we went to had been great, so let's try this. Big mistake! This is the first time we've ever left a restaurant, after eating, feeling afraid, and wondering how sick we might get. It was 1:30, and it was not busy. The selection of plates wasn't very broad. We did not see any old plates ever being removed by employees for being there too long, just the same ones going round and round endlessly. None of the hot food was hot or even warm. We only tried rolls that included precooked (but unfortunately cold) fish and did not try any raw fish sushi. However, we did get cake, which should have been cold, but it was warm and stale. My chocolate mouse cake was very warm, not cold like it should be. If the cake isn't cold, how cold can the raw sushi on the turntable be? We kept an eye on the sushi chefs to see if they would put out any fresh hot food, but they did not the entire time we were there. We left after about 30 minutes, and as we left, they appeared to be adding 3-4 new dishes to the rotation. (But most of the stuff that we saw on the conveyor belt when we arrived was still there too. ) As we left, we both asked ourselves how safe we felt. We should have stopped after the first roll, because everything fried in the fried seafood roll was cold, but we had hopes the next would be better. My daughter got the baked oyster too, also cold, but not refrigerator cold. Not one thing we tried was within the proper temps, and I pray we do not get super sick, but not confident or won't happen. This was a great experience, the sushi was not bad I truly enjoyed the conveyor belt full of sushi. The derive was alright we sat down and they immediately asked what we wanted to drink but I felt like after that we didn't see our server until we asked for the bill. Great Happy Hour prices! Regular prices are 50 cents more per tier. Nice pricing and decent food. I brought my son to this revolving sushi restaurant this evening for dinner. Parking is available behind the restaurant. Enter through alleys on either side of the restaurant. It is super convenient. The restaurant is larger than it seems on the outside. Only one half of the restaurant was open to the public on this weekday night. We just missed Happy Hour by 5 minutes, but we still found prices pretty affordable, and the sushi is alright. They offer several items at their lowest tier: California Roll, Snow Crab Roll, Tamago Nigiri, Red Snapper Nigiri (pretty fresh and cut well with minimal sinew). One of the higher priced items that I enjoyed was their baked scallop over California roll. Tip: If you like gyoza dumplings, order a fresh batch from the server when you first get in. It is worth the wait. $2.50 for 5 dumplings with sauce. Maguro nigiri was a little pricier. Make sure that it looks fresh and of good color for optimal pieces. This place has gone down hill. I HATE leaving negative reviews but I wanted to give my honest opinion especially since I've come here a lot over the years & I used to be a big fan. When it was called "Sushi Station" it was a lot better! The last 2 times I've come now, it's been really disappointing. And unfortunately, the last time, my friend ended up getting food poisoning. Now this isn't a reflection on the staff. They have always been kind & provided good service! But the food has gotten smaller, stale, & it just doesn't taste right. When I was here just a couple of days ago & bit into an egg roll, it was cold & slimy. A lot of the rolls I usually like, didn't taste the same & overall it wasn't satisfying. Again, as bummer as I am to write this, I probably won't be back here. There's other revolving sushi bars in the valley I'd rather try. read more

Tokoro didn't have a huge array of options rolling by when we were there but still plenty of good things that had me asking my friends "hey grab that one for me!". Restaurant was very clean and the people working were quite friendly. Didn't need reservations on a Friday evening (around 5pm) though it certainly seemed to pick up in there about an hour later. My whole family loved this restaurant! My kids thought it was such a great concept and have been asking to go back many times since our last visit. With that being said, their food and treats are good! They have a big selection and if you don't see what you want, you can order it from your server. You can also order meals through your server if you're not in the mood for sushi. Their prices are perfect for any budget, just make sure you keep track of your plates. They also have happy hour from 3-5pm but I don't remember through what days, so check their site out for that information! Overall we loved this location. The people who work there are friendly and the sushi chefs know what they're doing. I know it's conveyor belt sushi but honestly it's one of the very few places in Phoenix that's actually really good sushi. After trying a good 20+ places here, sushi station and orient sushi grill are the only two that I'll go back to. I do wish their prices were more on par with orient sushi as they do Ayce and it's about 25$ or Ayce with nigiri option is only like 30$ ish! But they are pretty far out from me, so this is my go to! I love their chicken fried rice, it's better than any restaurant I've tried, even Vegas ones. It's very fresh and yummy! This place is amazing I love the set up and how the rotation of the sushi plates are easily colored for clear pricing. Nice variations how ever wish the portions were slightly bigger. You get what you pay for. Actually, i dont even know if you get what you pay for. To start, my salmon was paper thin. They tried to cut it so thin that it had a hole in the middle.... seriously? I left the restaurant semi-full and my bill came out to $39. Honestly, 90% of rolls are jam packed with rice and fake crab meat. Id rather go to a better sushi restaurant and pay 30-40+ for something high quality. I mean, id be full after eating 1 great roll priced at $13-16.. and maybe couple nigiris for $8-10. Service, however, was wonderful i did leave 20% tip. This was the most disappointing experience at a restaurant I've ever had. The customer service was almost nonexistent. We had to ask one of the cooks to take our order! Friendly staff, decent sushi, straightforward concept. Because of the pandemic, there is a lot of space between seats. To get to the bathroom you have to walk into around the conveyor belt and it felt a little strange. Plates range from $2.00 up, and the dishes are presented with their ingredients and prices on the conveyor belt. Overall, there is nothing wrong with the restaurant. At the same time, there is nothing outstanding about the place either. I had an hour for lunch - I was seated, I was able to eat my fill and pay, and I was able to get back to work in that time. So if you need a relatively quick sushi fix, I think this place will satisfy those needs. read more
