Loving the interior! The restaurant was noticeably very clean. I actually appreciate how for once a sushi restaurant is brightly lit instead of being super dim. The wall decor is a 3D mount Fuji and even the painting on the door is of a crane. Very beautiful and thoughtful. The food itself is just as impressive. Portions were great and the sushi was very fresh and presented/made beautifully. Our server was very attentive. Constantly refilling our drinks and checking in on us. Will definitely be back!

2/28/2024 Sushiko 4546 El Camino Real Ste A4 Los Altos, CA 94022 We went there for lunch on a Wed around noon. It's in the Village Court plaza at the corner of ECR and San Antonio Rd. The store front faces San Antonio Rd. with parking around the periphery of the shops. Not too many people when we got there and it starting filling up while we dined. Probably no need for reservations. It's a booth and table layout with a smallish sushi bar. They didn't have calamari. Wifey had the stir fried seafood udon and I had the lunch special Bento Box with Saba Shioyaki and mixed Tempura. My Miso soup was thick, flavorful and had some Wakame but no diced tofu, just okay. The udon had a good selection of seafood, including mussels and shrimp. My Saba was juicy and tasty, with some edible pin bones. The mixed tempura was hot and included two sweet shrimp with assorted vegetables having a crunchy and slightly greasy breading. The salad had a mayo dressing and just okay, no sesame or soy flavors. The menu is extensive with sushi, bento and udon selections. The service was good, even with just a single server. The lunch special bento box is a good value. Similar to several other places in the area, it's repeatable.

Love this neighborhood gem! Have been coming here for many years. Friendly service. I love the salmon skin roll - only place besides Morimoto's that does it right - crisp/crunchy without that fishy taste! A favorite during lunch for many in the area. Also love their bento offering, spicy tuna roll is great too!

Came back here again and their service was way better (different servers) who checked on us and made sure we were satisfied with our orders! Edamame wasn't smushy, lightly salted. Rice to everything else ratio was good--Nothing fell apart this time! Happier with this experience than the last!

Came her for dinner on a Monday night and really enjoyed our meal. We got there around 6:30 and found ample parking in the lot. My boyfriend got a large Sapporo and we shared the Titanic, cucumber avocado roll, salmon avocado roll, and salmon scallion roll. We loved everything we got and the fish tasted delicious and fresh. You also get a complimentary bowl of miso soup and a few edamame. It took a bit to get our check just because they got so busy but we absolutely look forward to coming back!

Enjoyed a delicious meal here at Sushiko. We were seated upon our arrival. Service was friendly and helpful as well as timely. The bento meal comes with salad and miso soup. The miso soup had great flavor. The dressing on the salad is how i like it. The tempura was crisp. The tofu agedashi was alright and the vegetable tempura crispness made up for the tofu. If you like bento meals, this is the place in Los Altos!

Nice people, quality food. I had the luxury of stopping by this place mid day for lunch. The stay was nice and polite, with a lot of patience as I try to figure out what I wanted. Establishment was clean, food came out looking perfect (unfortunately I didn't decide to take a pic until I already grabbed a few bites. Food tasted amazing, perfectly made. I'll be back again soon!

I hadn't had sushi like this in a very long time. Sushiko is nicely hidden in the plaza where teaspoon and the pasta market are located in Los Altos. The fish was fresh and the presentation was excellent. I also want to point out how friendly and fast the service was on a Friday evening.

Seated quickly and order was taken. Brought our water out with no ice and half way filled. No silverware for salad or soup. California Roll was not the best. I would give it a 2/5 and spicy Mayo a 1/5. I like different places when I visit different cities. Glad I tried this place but would not come again.

We came here for a quick lunch, and we were shown to our seats right away. The restaurant is located in an outdoor mall called Village Court with plenty of restaurants to choose from. It is across the street from Chef Chu's, a very iconic Chinese restaurant which has been around over 40 years. The servers at Sushiko were really nice, good looking, and they took our orders and requests right away. The food was delicious and we enjoyed eating the healthy omega-3 sushi and sashimi. My mom, who doesn't eat raw fish, really enjoyed her bulgolgi and grilled salmon. Will definitely come here again.

Very good for take out; eating there was a bit disappointing the night we went. Great quality sushi.

It's on the smaller side for a restaurant (maybe seats 30?), making it a super cute spot for date night. We opted for the 17 course omakase and it did not disappoint. The timing of each course was perfect. Even though the chef was also making nigiri for a table of 4, my husband and I never had to wait very long between each piece. One of our most memorable bites was the A5 wagyu. It's grilled on a Japanese charcoal which added a nice smokey flavor to the juicy pieces of wagyu. The kisu tempura was also very delicious and as always, the nigiri's were *chefs kiss*. Each piece of nigiri was perfectly seasoned and incredibly well balanced. If you haven't tried Hiroshi yet, you're definitely missing out. Highly recommend trying Hiroshi at least once if you like omakase. My husband and I are already looking forward to our next visit.

I've come with friends as well as with my mom, and the food is always fresh and consistently good. One of my favorite things about coming here with my mom is that she speaks Japanese and sometimes likes to ask the waitstaff if they speak Japanese. Surprisingly, we've had at least two servers who do! She'll happily chat with them in Japanese and tell them about how she lived in Japan when she was young. It's always fun to watch her make that connection. Sumika is very popular, so I usually recommend making a reservation, even for lunch. On weekends, there can be quite a line.
