Employees were super friendly and chatty (in a good way), they shared some insights and tips about exploring the town while I waited for my coffee. Super helpful and welcoming while also being down to Earth. Drinks: We mostly came here for coffee and to chill for a bit. They offered coffee flights here so my wife was sold to stop and try them. We like flights because you get to sample more of the menu without committing to just one thing. After the flights, I did also try a separate flavored latte off of the menu has well. The lattes were not too sweet and the flavor profiles fit the espresso base without overpowering the coffee flavors. My favorite out of all of them were the Huckleberry Latte and the Black Sesame Foam Latte (The Goth I think is what they called it). Fun little shop to stop and grab a drink and bite to eat. Bonus - they are only 1/2 mile away from Lake Michigan and a local park. Park and grab a drink to go and explore the beach!

I had a few of their pastries which I believe are made in house including the sugar cookie (decorated as Mr. Narwhal from the movie Elf) and the oatmeal chocolate muffin. When we arrived for dinner, the parking in front was packed..... That's a good sign. The restaurant occupies a very large footprint, actually it's quite enormously. The booth offered a view of the many large screen televisions and of the brewing vats that were clearly labeled. My lovely bride wasn't sure which brew to try and Gina said "I'll bring you a sample".....it was their Cool City Light Lager...that was outstanding. For myself I ordered a traditional Wisconsin, Brandy Old Fashioned Sweet that was excellent too. It now was time for food choices and there were many choices. We choose Loaded Nachos, with a Cool City twist. Nacho chips with beer cheese, pico, chives, avocado, and bell pepper crème. A very unique combination that was great and kudos for originality. For dinner my wife ordered the Slider Burger Flight, three mini burgers with unique toppings (I could list them, however it would be better if you used the link to the business) Suffice it to say the mini burgers were the most generously sized and a take home box was needed. For myself it was the Cedar Planked Salmon that came with fries, slaw, tartar sauce and the best buttered rye bread. The food, service and selection.... all were outstanding!
