On our way back to California we found this great tasting BBQ restaurant. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which had a whole lot of meat. My buddy ordered the half-slab of ribs which were very good as well. If you are passing through, you should stop by and try this place out, you'll be surprised. read more

Love the pulled pork from here. It's all delicious comfort food and the atmosphere is very homely. One of my favorites here in Fallon.

So we were in town for a wedding and decided (after driving by this place several times ) my family and I stopped in for dinner. The ribs were so meaty and had a great blend of spices with or without adding extra Barbecue sauce it was delicious. I also got a sandwich with beef brisket they sure don't cheat you on the amount of meat they give on your sandwich. Their hospitality was the best and more than we ever get in California. Next time we are in town again we will defiantly be stopping by here for more great food. read more

a BBQ restaurant is a very hard business to make successful anywhere. and I have been to many. The ribs were very good, I wish she had a two or three meat combo dish because I like to try all of the BBQ a restaurant has to offer. Brisket and pulled pork were very good as well. Food was tasty but very dry, like it was cooked too long. We expected more of a restaurant atmosphere but it is more like a picnic

We just stopped in for a bite. It was almost closing time and they were very gracious. They served us and never once seemed put out. The pork and beef brisket were delicious. Not dry and no fat! I loved every bite! I can't eat gluten and this was a perfect choice for me. The corn on the cob was home-grown and very different from what I have had before. Tastey. I will definitely come back! I live in North Carolina, the HOME of BBQ! The first time this week I went I got the rib/bbq combo. The ribs dropped my jaw! Went back a couple of days later and got half a rack with sides knowing I'd have lunch too. Nope! Absolutely delicious! read more

I love good bbq and with Susie's you get that. You can smell it (in a good way) from blocks away in the summer when they have the mobile trailer set up. The brisket is divine, the grilled corn even better. They don't have a physical location but are good about getting the word out in summer when they will be set up. We stopped here to get some lunch to take out to the reservoir for pre-4th of July fun and I am sure glad I found this place on yelp! We decided to try it despite some of the bad reviews and had nothing but a pleasant experience. We ordered 2 racks of ribs, a giant piece of chicken, 4 sides, and some corn on the cob. The ribs were delicious, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. They were fall off the bone delicious and had a very nice color to them. The ribs were just as delicious 2 days later when we re-barbecued them for dinner again. We had both the mild and hot BBQ sauce which were also great. All the sides we tried were delicious: beans (super yummy, a little sweet), coleslaw (only mildly sweet, not my favourite but it was still good), and potato salad. My favourite 2 sides were hands down the corn bread (omg so good!! I usually like my cornbread with butter and honey but this stuff was amazing just heated up on its own) and the corn on the cob (What is better than BBQd corn?? BBQd corn dipped in a giant thermos of melted butter and whatever else was in there!!). We didn't eat inside but the inside was nice, had a few picnic tables set up for seating and a little BBQ sauce area to grab BBQ sauces and utensils. If we come back next year for the 4th again we will definitely be stopping here for some BBQ lunch! read more

My husband and daughter, myself went about....3 weeks ago. We were excited after reading good reviews. The new place itself is ok. Clean, great people working there. Unfortunately the food was just....really bad. My Husband got the Pork Pulled Sandwich, the pulled pork was so dry and tasteless he didn't finish it. You are given big portions, our dogs loved it. My daughters and mine were the shredded beef brisket?? Again, plopped on dry bread. The meat was dried out with no taste. Usually a pulled pork has or you are offered cole slaw on top of the meat. Nope, nothing. The "homemade" baked beans?? Were nothing more than canned beans. Nothing special at all. We will not be going back. read more

Was really looking forward to some good barbecue. I didn't mind the decor, relaxed, sorta like a back porch country feel. Really disappointed in the brisket sandwich. I was looking forward to a great barbecue beef sandwich that showed off the cut of the meat but instead got a pulled brisket sandwich that was chewy and not so hot ( temperature or otherwise). The bread is never good. It's either rock hard or so soft it's a gooey mess. Pulled pork is dry, reheated and tough. The corn and side salads are disgusting. Everything has the same tastes, smoke & charcoal. Nothing else, just smoke& charcoal. Every thing is served out of heating trays you'd expect in a buffet. I don't know who the judges are that said this place is the best in Nevada, it's not even close to being called decent bbq. The food and the atmosphere are horrible and it feels dirty. The people working there are not friendly or pleasant. If you ask any questions about something being fresh they become rude and defensive. Don't waste you're time or money. read more

We drove by on one of our trips through town & saw the owner out loading the smoker early in the morning. Sure signs of an authentic BBQ joint. On our return trip, we stopped in for dinner. The meat was delicious with an outstanding spicy sauce option. There was a consistent and steady stream of people coming in. We will be back. read more

When it comes to Susies it's not what can you say, it's what can't you say. As I stepped in I became overwhelmed with a rush of nostalgia from the picnic tables seemingly to have been aligned perfectly by the same creature that had hand crafted Orions belt above us, it took me back to simpler time of days without bills and while my family picnic would be surrounded by drunkards hitting on each other's wives. There's no way one could say this establishment is anything less than biting into a succulent brisket sandwich as if I were a wild wolverine raveging through the forest, only to come up onto a family of beavers that could not escape the clutches of fate that destiny has determined in this world of wonders. Not a man, woman or small child could say that when the word moist comes up referring to the sweat savory hand picked ribs in this place it could be nothing but excellence, as if Arnold Schwarzenegger himself were helping me mold my body to the fitness God that could destroy Hercules with nothing but a mere twinkle of the nose causing him enduring shame for eternity. As I finished my king size 12oz Bud Weiser to wash down the feast that had just been bestowed upon my belly at the cost of but two easy payments of 7.99, my mind knew one thing... If Susie's was a woman she'd be worth getting caught in an affair. read more
