    Crispy Pork Daily Special
    Kovia P.

Asian requests chopsticks and gets training ones. Zero stars. I could laugh it off. And its not why im giving 1 star but its certainly the cherry on top isnt it? The chow fun felt and tasted like if you showed someone a picture of the dish and asked them to recreate it on sight alone. The noodles were overcooked and the green onions were basically raw. I desperately searched for flavor and found none. I refuse to believe there was any fermented black bean involved in its creation. The twice cooked pork was surprisingly pliable and yet the chicken was dry. I had to give it the soy sauce treatment to finish it, embarrassing. Day 2 i returned to try a signature dish (because if im gonna 1 star, i want to have a well rounded opinion), which they were out of. So i tried to order the daily special (Salt and Pepper Pork Chops). Received it initially as a normal entree order despite pointing to it on the Daily Special Menu. I could still taste the raw breading (flour, corn starch, etc) and the pork itself was still relatively flavorless and not the star of the dish. Overpowered by the garlic (vinegar?). You think im gonna try sushi from this place? Absolutely not, will not return.

I was really hoping to have a better review after giving this place a second chance. Both times our service was slow and almost non-existent. My appetizers took an hour to hit the table and weren't even good (the restaurant was half full and they appeared fully staffed). My wor won ton soup had no flavor and the meat was too chewy. I chose 3 stars instead of 2 because the sushi rolls were half decent.

Shrimp and asparagus in black bean sauce

Stopped in for dinner today. The place was quite busy, music pretty loud, lights quite dim. Service was good, my waitress was very pleasant and my food came pretty quickly. The menu is more about half sushi, but they have a pretty good selection of typical Chinese dishes. I love black bean sauce, and wears in the mood for something a bit lighter after being on the road all day so opted for the shrimp & asparagus in black beans sauce. Plenty of shrimps and asparagus, but the latter was a little tough. The asparagus stalks were quite thin, and the thinner ones can sometimes be a bit tough. The flavor of the sauce was excellent, with plenty of white rice to soak it up! Heat level was perfect - broke out in a sweat, but not too hot to eat. Overall I was pleased and would definitely go back the next time I'm in town.

Decided to come for Saturday dinner. Not too crowded. It was a quiet night. Service was fast and efficient. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't come back to check on us. We waited to ask another employee for our take-out box and bill.

This place gets busy. On hold for 8.5 minutes. Got to restaurant and still no answer. Ordered the salt n pepper chicken plus egg rolls. Chicken was tasty enough. The egg rolls were tasty enough but small. Service was a bit slow but as I mentioned they were busy. I need to cone here for sushi someday. Overall not bad

Good food, service, and ambiance. Weekends are usually busy, but the food is well worth the wait!

First off, nigiri. These are HUGE and they come with a sizable slab of sashimi cut fish on top too. Pro-tip is to order less than you think you'll eat, because the size is sure to surprise and they will fill you up quickly. Don't sleep on the specialty nigiri here OR he Scallop Supreme appetizer, which is seared scallop sashimi! Second, sticking with the size matters theme, the hand rolls. Spicy salmon, spicy scallop and scallop OG are all stellar, and you will be blown away by the amount of seafood stacked in these when they arrive. One is easily an entire maki roll worth of filling and you will be stoked when you sink your teeth in. I definitely ordered at least two spicy salmon hand rolls and should have had a third. Third, massive maki, perfectly proportioned and portioned for sharing. Do yourself a favor and order the Pink Fire with spicy yellowtail seared with togarashi, sesame oil, salt & pepper wrapped in soy paper, then topped with seared tuna, yummy sauce, teriyaki, ponzu, green onions, chili flakes, & sesame seeds. The Double Down is another winner with salmon, tuna, yellowtail on the inside, then topped with salmon, tuna, yellowtail, tobiko, avocado. FOURTH, don't skip dessert! Can you say house-made ice cream?? I can and I'd say it two or three times here if they'd let me. This stuff is SERIOUSLY good. Desserts are not an afterthought here and you need to save room. FIFTH, last but 100% the most important and not least, SERVICE IS STELLAR! Yes. They are on it. They love what they serve. They're a solid team and this place wins as a result! Take the short drive to excellent sushi!

We shared the spicy tuna long roll, also good, and my fiancé got the 9 piece appetizer sashimi which was very a very generous portion: the thickest sashimi pieces we've ever seen! Their rice could have been stickier. It was kinda falling apart on the platter even before we dug in. They do offer lunch specials and AYCE lunch (not sure of the price) and AYCE dinner ($48/adult) that not everyone at the table needs to participate in. Will be back when we have a big group so we can have variety. Our service was good. 3% credit card transaction fee.

They likely never put my name down for the reservation. We even offered to split our group into multiple tables since there were several empty tables available throughout the restaurant. Instead of trying to accommodate us, the staff continued taking phone orders and seating other families at those empty tables while my family was left standing there, feeling completely ignored. It was frustrating and disappointing to see available seating go to other guests while no effort was made to communicate with us or find a solution. A little acknowledgment and customer service would have gone a long way. They didn't even apologize. In the beginning I thought it was a language barrier but when I politely addressed my concerns they were extremely rude and had no desire to find a solution. Most of our party left due to the rude service. Only 6 of us stayed behind to eat. We thought the food was good. We paid for the bill in cash, only for the server to chase us outside and accuse us of shorting the cash. Either someone stole it or dropped it because we paid the full price plus tip. Since we didn't have any proof, we had no choice but to pay twice. Will never eat here or recommend again.
