Service is quick and friendly but the food is a huge let down. I ordered a grilled steak burrito supreme. For over $10 you get some low grade meat rice and pinto beans rolled in a small tortilla. That's it. No sour cream, avocado, tomato, peppers, hot sauce, cilantro, lettuce or anything. Flavor of course is very bland because it lacks about everything you would expect to be in it. It's half the size or a burrito sold anywhere else. I think supreme was lost in translation. Definitely will not be back. Food is 1 star. I only gave 2 because service was good. I'm looking forward to enjoying food from Susis more often, being that I've recently moved to the area. Now it may not be TOO often, because you'll pay a pretty penny to eat here. I picked up enough food to cover lunch and dinner for two. That included the following: -Chicken Plate (comes with rice and beans) -Chicken Enchiladas (quantity of two, comes with rice and beans) -Chicken taco -Fish taco (tilapia) I paid $28.20. That doesn't include the tip that I usually graciously give even when I'm taking out. The food is definitely "valuable," i.e. GOOD! But whether it's worth the price - give this place a try and decide for yourself. It's worth at least one splurge. You won't be disappointed. I ate the fish taco and the chicken enchiladas. Both had just the right amount of flavor and the chicken and fish were cooked to the perfect texture. If I had to choose one - I'd choose the fish. Hopefully I'll never have to choose. You'll get a side container of salsa for each entree, and extra tortillas. The salsa is just moderately spicy with chunky fresh veggies. Parking in the shopping center where Susis is located is plentiful, but the lot can get pretty full around lunch time. There's really no need to call ahead here. I walked in around 1 pm on a Friday and ordered all of the above, and I had the food in my hand in less than 5 minutes. There's a good amount of seating if you prefer to dine in. But you won't be served at your table - you'll pick up your food from the ordering window along with the taker-outers. read more

I'm working in this area for the next few months and am trying new local spots. Ive heard some good and bad about Susis Taco grill. Of course I have to try it for myself. Located just off of FIB in south Fulton county this is a small hole in the wall along with several other littles food joints, a barber shop and a cleaners. I walked in around 1155 am and it was not crowded. A young lady took my order and was very nice. I'm assuming her dad was in the kitchen cooking. I ordered a steak quesadilla and a steak taco. The two together costed me almost $14.00. WHAT ?? $14 ? That did not come with any tortilla chips or anything. The food was good but NOT THAT GOOD. I could have gotten a full meal with chips and all the fixings at a typical Mexican restaurant. The price is just a little too steep for me. The store was clean and so was the bathroom. Also no un-sweat tea. Just sweat tea and sodas. Now keep in mind the dining establishments off of FIB are limited so if you dont mind paying a few extra bucks this might be the place for you. read more

My new favorite lunch spot! The chicken soup ($6.99) here is amazing! It comes with rice and you can get any toppings...yes even guacamole for no extra charge! Yum! I have tried their beef taco($3.50) and their chicken taco ($3) and I think I like the beef more. I usually come around 11:45 to avoid the lines or else it will be from the counter to the front door. No Worries though...the line move fast and the people at the counter (where u order and received ur foods) move really fast so it'll be speedy Gonzalez for real. Give them a try if u are in the area! Also, it's only $1.50 more for chips and salsa! Can't beat that! read more

Situated in a random strip mall where you'd think this would probably be your typical hole, this place delivered on all levels. Greated at a counter, you place your order, and they bring your food to your table - at least they did for us. Note if you go on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night the night club next door will be thumping hip hop, so if you want a quiet dinner, take out is your option these nights. The nacho appetizer was amazing - loaded with chicken, beef and shrimp, the 10$ pricetag seemed steep but it delivered being chock full of food. The cheesesteak I got was fantastic, loaded with beef and cheese and sided with the lettuce, tomato and rice it was one of the better Mexican cheesesteaks I've had. I'd go back if I were in the area - price is right, food is excellent. read more

So my friends doing fifty-eleven reviews reminded me that I haven't reviewed this place. I have been a fan of Susi's since they opened years ago. You can't beat great mexican right down the street from the crib. Everything I have had has been on point-beef tacos, fish tacos, nachos-awesome. The fresh salsa and chips are great. Now I have to take my Illinois born-San Diego bred boyfriend there for the real test because he is a Mexican food snob. I like it though so that matters enough right now. read more

Door says it closes at 9pm. The door and Yelp must be WRONG as the two employees were walking at 7:59pm. The gentleman also gave us dirty looks for making comments about the sign saying they closed at 9pm, and then proceeded to give my husband a dirty look as he drove away as he parked in front of Johnny's. read more

This place was pretty good at first. I tried the chimicangas and the shrimp taco. This particular time they were really good. But the last time. I ordered nachos and a shrimp taco. The nachos were mad moreso like movie nachos. That's really bad for a Mexican place. I was very disappointed. I had yellow cheese out the can poured of it. I wont be back. It's actually pretty okay. It's great...not "oh my gosh gotta be back" but not that bad where I'd never come back. We had two chimichangas, beef and chicken, which were big might I add. It had all the tools to be great but it was missing a lot of seasoning. Also, the salsa wasn't thick, kind of soupy, which wasn't good for picking up chips. Chips weren't all that either, no salt. I want to like it but I just can't because I've had better authentic Mexican places. read more

Today was my second time going to Susi's and the nachos were okay, their queso is too thick in my opinion. I take issue with the service. They are nice enough but don't provide consistent information or food. That's why they get 3 stars instead of 4 I called in two nacho supremes (one chicken and shrimp and one beef). The young lady asked if I wanted "everything", I asked what everything consists of, she stated "lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and cheese" I indicated yes for the beef nachos and everything except tomatoes for the chicken/Shrimp nachos. When I arrived I was given chicken/shrimp nachos with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, guacamole and jalapeños and beef nachos with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream . I asked about the inconsistency in what I was told on the phone and what I was given. The young lady showed me the ticket that she wrote with "EVERYTHING" under the nacho order. I guess that was supposed to clear everything up. . After much discussion I was finally able to get the order corrected but it seems unnecessary. OAN: The tacos I had previously were DELICIOUS! I'll go back for them but I won't call it in. read more

Second time around not as good. All the meat in the tacos were overcooked. Not a little, a lot. Clearly, they have some leftover meat that they were using and reheating in a microwave. Dry and tasteless. Nothing seems to be made to order here, food comes out very quick. Here's to hoping it's a one time occurrence. read more

Great place!! The food was affordable, incredibly fast, and epically delicious! My friend and I stopped here after a day at Six Flags (10min drive from the park). She ordered the chicken tacos ($2 each and a good size) and I ordered the chicken burrito. By the time we sat at our table with chips and salsa (very fresh delicious salsa), our food was ready. The sauce on the chicken tacos had a great spice and authentic tasty flavor. The best part for me was that everything comes with big helpings of guacamole and sour cream at no extra charge! Everyone who came in for takeout was out the door in a jiff. The restaurant was very clean also which was a major plus. Finally, our table had a great hot sauce next to the salt and pepper. Healthy choices are a plus for this neighborhood (if you know the Thornton Rd/Fulton Industrial cross roads area)! Located in the little strip of shops behind the obvious Bojangle's is how you find Susi's. Our only issue is the parking gets crazy looking around lunchtime. Allow time to circle around, but don't worry. They're fast and friendly here. Try the Fish Taco Salad, or the Fish Tacos, two of our favorites! read more

This place is alright. It has potential to be better but it's not there right now. I think the ingredients are mediocre quality and they position the place to serve a higher quality. If you are stuck down off Fulton Industrial, this is a no-frills dirty mexican. I had a platter of tacos, baracoda, lengua, and chicken. The Lengua (tongue) was very good. I have had this several places and this is one of the best. It was so good I came back a couple of weeks later and had it again. 100% mexican working behind the counter cooking up what they know how. Best you can get for the area. read more
