Walked in just before 10 pm. Food closes at 10 but bar closes at 11 pm. We were able to order food. Beer cheese brussels, thumbs down for me. It had too much of a burnt flavor for me. Not enough cheese or maybe wasn't melted enough. Smoke gouda Patty melt was good just too much for me. I barely finished half. Great flavor, onions sautéed nicely, cheesy mess yum! Service was great except for the hostess. She was not friendly and made me feel like she hated seeing us show up. Website said closes at 11pm View is BEAUTIFUL. Ambiance - overlit and sterile for a brewpub, in my opinion. Food - salty. So salty, in fact, that I lost my appetite for dessert. My chowder was pretty salty, but my burger's saltiness hit me like a ton of bricks and made me actually feel bad afterward. I'm sure the fact that I got it without a bun also made it worse. Beer is pretty good but the food is poor. First time I tried a chicken wrap. After 45 minutes it arrived and tasted horrible. Slathered with some sort of vinegar that made it inedible. The next time I tried the fish and chips. What arrived was over fried hunks of batter with some sort of dried up fish pieces inside. Over priced crap. Beer is ok but the food is crap. read more

Horrible experience. We've been here so many times before, but tonight was absolutely insane. After waiting over two hours for a table we were promised in one hour or less, we were finally seated--only to be told we were cut off from ordering drinks without any explanation. This decision was made by the owner, who never came over to speak with us directly. As regular customers who have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars here in the past, we were stunned. Earlier in the evening, one of the bartenders even told us she was "paid to be rude." The service throughout the entire three hours we were there was terrible, and we ultimately left without food due to how awful the experience became. When we asked to speak to the owner, who was apparently on site, we were told they refused to come talk to us. Only then did the staff decide to comp the food--after threatening to charge us for it. Mind you we never got the food. I will never recommend this place again. I will gladly tell friends and family to stay away. Whether it matters or not, the entire situation felt racially charged. Imagine waiting 40+ minutes just for a drink while watching multiple large families arrive and get seated before us--even though we had already been waiting for hours. (Did I mention we were brown). Hubby and I and a great friend visited this amazing brewery. I had a flight with tastes of 4 of their beers of my choice. The beers were all excellently crafted. I wouldn't hesitate for one millisecond to go there again. The service and ambience were totally on point. Their Alcan Amber was extremely well balanced between malt and bitterness. It's one of their flagship beers for good reason. All of the beers were exceptional. Don't hesitate to visit this awesome establishment. I was so surprised at how spacious it is inside. Geeat comfy place to hang out. Had fabulous service. Started with the Pretzel Bites, which were smaller than I thought (6 pieces) at first... but then you taste the cheese and get transported to HEAVEN!! The cheese was TO DIE FOR. So much so I ordered a side to go with my hamburger haha. Burgers were delicious. Heard good things, so I was disappointed. First was sat at a dirty table (we didn't actually sit at it, but the hostess walked away, so we just waited for the waitress). Sat down, ordered our drinks, which one came, one didn't, so I had to get up again to get my own drink. Ordered a burger with no onions, it came with onions, and on a plate so small you couldn't really put them to the side. Burger was dry and no condiments on it. Prob won't be back. read more

Came here on Saturday with friends. We ordered 3 appetizers- cheese curds, hot wings (hot and garlic parmesan) and steak poutine, they were all excellent! The hot wings were the right mount of hot. My friend said that the poutine might have been the best they have tried ever. They were not that's busy but we still had to wait for a table. It looks like they have live music most Saturday evenings and trivia as well. Was cool that they had a dock in front too, so we were able to boat up and tie off. As nice as this place appears on the exterior, the bathrooms were like a gas station's. Just absolutely filthy and gross. The food was okay, but also took quite some time to come out. There was no hostess when I came in, and no signs up, so opted for the bar. Management needs to step up and correct these issues before it's too far gone. The staff was friendly so that's what the two stars are for. It took an hour for our food to come. We ordered steak, pasta and calamari... nothing that needed to take a whole hour. However, the next table who was seated 30 minutes before we got our food got their food 5 minutes after we got ours. If I hadn't asked our server how much longer our food would take I have a feeling she would have never brought our food out. I am here now 6/29/2025 7:06 PM, from California and my wife had the unfortunate experience of ordering at the bar and was treated completely rude, and disrespectful, from the female with blue hair (Hanna) who stated, "I get paid to be rude." Well she became irate and angry for unknown reasons and told my wife she could not order food at the bar (untrue) she seemed to be experiencing some type of breakdown she eventually walked off and another group of people came in to run the bar and she eventually came back and went back to work like she did nothing wrong. No accountability what so ever from management? Not sure what the issue was but maybe you can help the employees here with learning interpersonal social skills and abilities, food for thought. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse it did, per the owner our group could not have drinks as they said they had too many drinks, 7 in party 6 drinks total. Wow! Food is delicious and worth the drive to Big Lake! Great vibe, friendly staff, and sun shining through the windows showed off the beautiful interior. Great variety on the menu - so many choices and we will have to come back to enjoy some more delicious food. Best French dip ever - bread was so soft and roast beef was thinly sliced and seasoned so no au jus needed! Hubby had the cubano and I'm so glad I got to try it - equally delicious!!
