I don't know what magic they do to get the skin so crispy and bubbly, but I'm happy they figured it out! It's like popcorn, so light and airy. And even sauced, the crispy texture didn't end! We took half our wings home to Anchorage and even after the microwave a few hours later - still crispy. You place your order first and then take a seat. My friend and I decided to share a pizza, we couldn't decide and we got half and half, Pear bacon bleu and Greek. I also ordered a ginger ale. So I don't know why my friend decided to share a pizza with me, maybe we were both tired, or she was sooo hungry that she couldn't make any other choice but it was surprising because pizza is not really her thing. When we were ordering, I didn't think anything of it, but as we were eating and basically almost done she said, "You know what, I would come back and have their pizza, that was the best pizza ever!!" No argument from me...both half of the pizzas were so good. It was the right combo. The pear bacon bleu was almost like a dessert pizza but still very savory with the bacon bits. We were both hungry and the pizza size was perfect and filled us both. I never did ask, but do they make their own ginger ale? It didn't taste like any other of the Ginger ales that I've had in other places. This was flavorful and very carbonated. The whole meal was perfect! Bleeding Heart Brewery absolutely nailed it…read more I stopped in for lunch and had the prosciutto mac & cheese, and wow--this is hands down one of the best mac & cheeses I've ever had. Rich, creamy, perfectly balanced, and the prosciutto takes it to another level without overpowering the dish. I've also had their brunch, and the salmon with cream cheese and capers deserves a shoutout. The salmon is not dry (which is rare), and the bagel is toasted just right--not overly crunchy, just perfect. The outdoor seating is awesome, especially if you ride. This is easily one of the better spots to pull up on a motorcycle and enjoy a solid meal. Bonus points for the atmosphere. And the staff? Absolutely unreal--in the best way. Crazy friendly, welcoming, and they genuinely go out of their way to make you feel like part of their crew instead of just another customer. Great food, great vibes, great people. Mantanuska Brewery is the latest brewery I got to try for the first time and it was an enjoyable first time experience. Steve and I got one beer from this brewery on two separate occasions and I liked it both times. The Deep Powder Porter was the name of the beer we had. What I liked about this beer was that it was very smooth which made it an easy one to drink. There is a malty sweetness going on here with roasty, caramel and cocoa flavors. Untappd had the beet as a feature with this beer as "brilliant " and I can see that going on with this porter but I might call it "alive" as this porter wasn't a dull one at all to drink but instead it was a fun one.

We orders the jalapeño poppers and the Alaskan meat lovers pizza. The poppers come with 4, they are sooooooo yummy but sooooo hot lol. The meat lovers pizza was stuffed to the brim with meats. We order, and I say to the owner, you know, the key to a Philly cheesesteak is the Amaroso rolls. He pulls down the bag if rolls, and they are Amaroso rolls. I'm stunned. Never thought I would see this in Alaska. I just finished my cheesesteak 5 minutes ago. Run to Odd Man Rush brewery and have a beer and a cheesesteak.
