Here's the review you need to read! We waited 1.5 years to leave this review: we wanted to be able to say that the craftsmanship and quality of work goes beyond the initial completion of the job, and it has!! This is the biggest project we ever had done on our home. Overall the work done by Sustainable was to finish up all the stucco/drywall repairs for the doors and windows and electrical panel put in by other companies, install a new front door, completely changing the stucco, replacing several fascia, and painting our patio and fascia to match our doors and windows, and replacing/painting our garage trim. We saved for years for this project. We vetted countless contractors. Sustainable wasn't the cheapest nor most expensive, but here's why we chose Sustainable: From the first walkthrough, Josh showed up on time, presented himself with 100% professionalism, and most importantly: he gave a VERY detailed explanation of the process and materials that would be used and how it would be done. No one else took the time to do that. Also: not everyone seemed confident about doing the type of stucco we wanted or tried to change our mind because of the huge amount of spider cracks that are 100% normal from the stucco we wanted, but Josh made sure we were aware and that this is what we wanted without being rude in the slightest. I asked plenty of questions that probably would've irritated others but Josh answered every single question in detail and clearly understood that Hey, saving up for this is a big thing for us, and he never had a macho attitude toward me asking questions as a woman, and that goes a long way for my husband and I. From beginning to end, the job was handled by Gabe and his crew. Gabe and his team were always on time, always did a meticulous job of setting up and protecting everything with tarps or plastic or taping etc, and ALWAYS left our property CLEAN and tidy after every workday!!! They were 1000% professional, worked hard, treated us with respect, never cursed a single word, never played uncomfortable/profanity-filled music, we could go on and on. They were a dream team of a crew. The quality of work was so good that before the final cost of stucco material was on the house, the super dark gray material was so well done that neighbors asked us if it was finished and actually liked it despite how DARK it was and one of the neighbors ended up even painting his house gray LOL. The city inspector also really liked the quality of their repair work and we had no problems passing inspections on Sustainable's work. The house looked exactly as we hoped when it was all done, and Josh was always super fast to communicate and was so patient with us and our questions etc. Also: we really liked the app they were trying out with us to keep the project organized, no one we've used for anything has ever used something like that and I think that really took the project up another notch. This was totally worth what we saved up for and recently we had some work done inside the house and one of the crew turned out to live near our house and he commented that our house is now the best looking house on the street and that several neighbors cleaned up and changed things on their homes after seeing the work that was done from this project. That made us feel great! We haven't had any issues so far but we feel confident that if there ever was one, Josh would be just as great with helping us further.
