I had very high expectations for this place. So much so last time we tried to come here the line was so long that we couldn't even get a table. This time we were able to get seated within 10 minutes which was great. The ambience is really fun however I was expecting a little more from the food. everything was tasty and had some great flavors, but nothing really blew me away or stood out. Our waiter disappeared a few times too. I think we were ready to pay the bill and it felt like it took a long time to finally pay. Felt like maybe this is the way the restaurant creates FOMO maybe? When we got up to leave there was a really big line of people waiting outside. Cheers.
I'm here this week for 4 nights for a conference and I literally came to Susuru for 3 nights coz their food is just pretty amazing! So second night I got a bowl of tonkotsu ramen with black garlic oil and it was 10/10. The broth was creamy, pork flavor was spot on, the egg was done perfectly (which I'm very particular) and the chashu was delish. I wish I added extra chashu coz it was packed with umami flavor. I also ordered the beef tongue and beef tenderloin and both were nice done, tender, well seasoned and good size for a yakitori. This place definitely knows how to make authentic Japanese street food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!
Susuru has such a fun, nostalgic vibe and the food was excellent from start to finish. We started with the chicken karaage and mentai fries and both were delicious. Everyone ordered a different ramen including the Tori Paitan, Mi So Hot, and Black Tonkotsu. Each one had great flavor and depth. The portions were generous and the meal was super reasonable price wise. Louie was attentive throughout and made the experience even better. We were there at about 5:10. We read they did not take reservations and seated on a first come first serve basis. The restaurant opened at 5 and was filling up fast. It was not long after we seated that there were folks waiting for seats. A fantastic spot all around.
After a long Disney day, I had one mission: find great yakitori. Susuru kept popping up with glowing reviews, and being one of the closest spots to the parks, it seemed like the obvious choice. Judging by the line that had already formed 15 minutes before they even unlocked the doors, I wasn't the only one with that idea. The moment you walk in, it feels like you've stumbled into a tiny neighborhood izakaya in Tokyo. Paper lanterns, Japanese signs covering the walls, colorful vintage décor, wooden stools that politely remind you to finish eating instead of lingering for three hours--it all adds to the charm. It's casual, lively, and full of personality. The menu has plenty to explore, but I came for the yakitori. Since everything is ordered à la carte, I built my own assortment of skewers, and every single one was grilled beautifully over charcoal. The meats were juicy, the vegetables had that perfect smoky char, and the chimichurri-style dipping sauce they served alongside was something I found myself dipping absolutely everything into. Yes, ordering several skewers can add up faster than your Lightning Lane budget, but the quality absolutely justifies it. Sometimes simple food, done exceptionally well, is worth every penny. If you're near Disney and craving authentic Japanese comfort food instead of another theme park burger, put Susuru on your list. Just do yourself a favor and arrive early... unless standing in line is your favorite Disney ride. 5/5 - I'll happily be back for another round of skewers.
5/5 Stars -- Outstanding late-night dinner! Susuru delivered another incredible experience on our second visit! We came in for a late dinner around 9:00 PM and were pleasantly surprised--the initial 30-minute estimated wait turned into getting seated in just 10 to 15 minutes. Service was top-notch from start to finish, and the food was simply delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection with so much depth and flavor in every single bite. We kicked off the meal with an appetizer spread of Chicken Karaage, Truffle Sesame Tuna, and Tempura Fried King Oyster Mushrooms--all executed wonderfully. For my main, I went with the Susuru Chashu Gohan mini bowl along with the Short Ribs and Skirt Steak. For me, it was the absolute ideal balance of protein and carbs, and every piece of meat was insanely flavorful. You cannot leave without dessert: the Matcha Tiramisu. Wow. Rich, decadent, and genuinely one of the best and most unique tiramisus I've ever tasted. Make sure you leave room to end your meal with it! The rest of my family loved their meals just as much. We first came here a few years ago and knew we had to make it back on this trip. Susuru remains a MUST-visit in Orlando!
Tried this place after hearing so much about it on socials. Pulled up and there was a small line waiting for it to open. Really cool place with an open atmosphere. Kitchen is also open with a bar that looks directly into the kitchen as you dine. Drinks are simple. Plum wine, Japanese whisky options, beer, and soft drinks. Also a few mixed drinks, but again nothing crazy or exciting. Food was fresh and pretty good. The tuna sashimi appetizer was fantastic! The sauce is like a yum-yum and black sesame blend. Incredible. The bowl was wayyyyyy too sweet for me. Too much of the sauce. But the rice and chicken were pretty good. The pork belly is grilled and not seasoned much. So added it to the bowl to calm the sweet and it worked well. Overall, this place isn't worth queuing for, but still pretty good considering its location. Solid 6/10 for me.
I got so lucky again. I wanted to do on a Saturday night. I arrived around 730ish, and got lucky to find parking. When I arrived, I was told there was a bar seating in 10 minutes, which I took. I scanned the menu and had to have the old fashioned again (12 dollars). It was a great deal as it was boozy for me to stay happy for a while. For dinner, I splurged with the miso lamb (26 dollars) and chicken breast and thigh skewers (4.6 dollars each). All the meats were perfectly grilled and tender. The miso paste was perfect with the lamb, and the chimichurri sauce made it more flavorful. There were micro greens and potatoes for the vegetables. The wasabi topping on the chicken was very nice and brought the kick needed. I don't know if it was real wasabi, but it was still good. For dessert, the matcha tiramisu (8 dollars) was earthy and light, and the green tea was a nice gesture. The service was attentive and nice. My bartender made a great drink and the whole staff took great care of us. The vibe is still very nice, with lots of Japanese nostalgia displayed. The bar area has a nice open kitchen to watch the action as well. Music looks to be Japanese pop or anime. Parking can be difficult, and the wait times can get long, so bring your patience as it is well worth it! This is still a wonderful Japanese restaurant for bar food. No wonder it still gets crowded, especially on a Saturday night. I really need to visit their sister restaurant, Juju, as well. They are a similar concept with excellent food and drinks too! Our favorite spot to celebrate all occasions! Food brings us back to Japan! Ambiance is retro /izakaya. You have to try their seasonal specials as well! Never disappoints. We LOVE the beef tongue. So tender, probably the best beef tongue we've ever had in the nation. The dessert never disappoints. A perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Kurobata sausage: delicious and cute! This is what high quality ingredients get you!
What an amazing little hole in the wall! This is an Izakaya style eatery and they totally nailed the perfect vibe. From the decor, to the seats at the bar watching our food made, to the amazing tasty food at great prices, I wish I lived near here because this would be a regular hangout. We tried regular menu items, specials, themed cocktails, the whole bit, and absolutely everything was spot on! Service was super friendly, and it seemed everything was made to order. I loved everything about this place!
The place doesn't take reservations so expect to wait. We waited about 30 minutes for seats at the bar. The interior looks beautiful and really replicates Japanese art, culture, etc nicely. The service was decently fast as well as they gave us one plate at a time. The drink was tasty and you can definitely taste the alcohol in it. I personally enjoyed the Godzilla toy on it and they have a few alternations of it. The gyoza was probably the best item my girlfriend and I had as the chicken dumplings underneath were delicious. The skirt steak was tender and had a nice sauce on it too. The chicken karaage was our least favorite just because there wasn't much taste to it. It came with a sort of mayo dip, and it was fried nicely.

Just like my review from before, Susuru is still one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando. It's still such a fun retro izakaya whenever I'm craving ramen or Japanese style tapas, and the service is always top notch. We almost always have Asuka as our server, and she's seriously the sweetest. She's always so welcoming and somehow always recommends something that ends up becoming a new favorite. They've added more ramen to the menu since my last review, and the Tan Tan ramen has quickly become one of my favorites. The spicy sesame peanut broth is rich, flavorful, and has just the right amount of heat. If I'm not in the mood for ramen, I always go with the shiso butter yaki onigiri with a side of pork chashu. They torch the butter right at your table, which is such a fun touch, and it smells incredible. The mentaiko fries are still a must order every single visit, and for dessert you can't skip the matcha tiramisu or the taro ice cream with the hot green tea. The ramen, grilled meats, addicting appetizers, fun drinks, awesome atmosphere, and consistently amazing staff are exactly why I keep coming back. Easily one of my favorite spots in Orlando.
Overall we enjoyed the foods we ordered. The izakaya skewers and grilled items are great! Their ramen noodles are rated undercooked - not necessarily in a bad way - it's just not as soft as other places but I actually prefer my noodles a bit undercooked. The tonkotsu black are strongly flavored - lots of bamboo shoots. It is my least favorite. Miso lamb comes with chimichurri that's just out of this world. We had to wait for about 30 mins, but the are lots of benches outside so the wait wasn't too bad.

Super trendy looking inside. The bar and kitchen are together in an open concept. We shared a couple items such as the yuzu street corn, Brussels sprouts , zucchini , chicken karaage, mentaiko fries. We also ordered sake and a sukiri kiwi. I enjoyed everything however I was not a fan of the chicken karaage and my sukiri was not sour as it states on the menu. I would rate this place higher but our server left as we were stilled seated and never advised us so we were searching for someone to order more items. read more

What a gem of a spot - izayaka with delicious food and alch and non alch drink options. Cool decor and vibe inside and the bar was a lovely place to sit and watch the chefs work their magic. Top items for me: Yuzu street corn Baby scallop skewers (yakitori) Okonomiyaki Service was great, the server helping us was amazing and the place was slammed. Many many people waiting for tables. Indoor seating only. Feedback for me was the negima skewer needed salt and some of the chicken in the karaage were dry but they were hot/freshly fried. No complaints with the gyoza but nothing special. I'd come back here but would avoid busy time if I could. read more
Walk in only, no reservation, our wait was about 1 hour when given 40 minutes wait. There are bars in the plaza for drinks while waiting. Food are hit or miss, Yakitori items are very good while most of the small dishes were okay. Chicken Lower Thigh, Chick Oyster, Wings, Shishito Pepper were great, tender and perfectly grilled skewers. Beef Tongue was the only Yakitori that we didn't love. It was weird in texture and the form. Fries with Mentaiko Mayo were YUM. We ordered extra Mentaiko Mayo for dipping. Best buck spent! The Tako Wasa was very good. Refreshing with a kick. Tempura King Oyster was very watery. Karrage was fine. I's stick with the chicken wing from Yakitori menu. Onigiri with butter torched at the table - guilty pleasure but I can do without. Grilled Squid - rubbery. Grilled Street Corn - not bad, nothing special though. Lamb Chop - I'm not a lamb person but my friends enjoyed it. Came with slices of kabocha. Susuru had some highs and lows for me. The vegan ramen was really good, and I loved the matcha cheesecake. Some of the side dishes were way too spicy for my taste, and when I asked if they could remake them, the response wasn't the nicest. The wait was also pretty long and the seating wasn't very comfortable, but overall the food itself was solid. read more
The ambience of this place is amazing! It looks like a Japanese izakaya. They have a pretty varied menu. The skewers were flavorful, I got the shishito peppers, achilles (chicken thigh + scallions) and the bacon wrapped mochi. My favorite was the bacon wrapped mochi, but make sure to eat it while its hot or the mochi gets rubbery. I also got the tempura fired oyster mushrooms which were not greasy and very flavorful by themselves. I didn't think the sauce was even necessary. The amount was also a lot for one dish. They also have a pretty extensive drinks menu and I got one of their seasonal beers, which was good. I would definitely come here again with a larger group to try more things! read more
What a great vibe and overall food experience at Susuru in Orlando. This Japanese Izakaya delivers what I THINK is a comparable experience to izikayas in Tokyo. Small plates of food, fabulous flavors and a fun atmosphere with so much to look at on the walls that it would be fun to sit in a different spot each visit. The hamachi, grilled tuna cheek, was outstanding. The various skewers were fun and had a great charcoal flavor. The ramen was silky and delicious. I can't imagine there being anything bad on this menu. All four of us in our party loved everything we ate. Can't wait to come back for more. read more

If you don't like to wait, arrive to Susuru very early or be prepared to wait. I dined at Susuru with a friend that recommended it and I loved every minute (except for the wait). Once we were finally seated at the chef's table (LOVE), we tasted multiple dishes including fries, street corn, pork belly that melts in your mouth, and rice. My favorite was the end, which concluded with matcha tiramisu. read more

We were really looking forward to trying Susuru, but it was mediocre to us. The ambiance was cool and casual. We really enjoyed our server, but we thought the portions were very small for the price. Highlights were the street corn although a little messy to eat, and the chicken wing skewers although very petite wings. If in the area, we would give it another try, maybe just try different things. read more
Updating with my recent visit: The fries are still delicious and a great app to share! We also tried the fried oyster mushrooms which were pretty good. Regarding ramen, I decided to try the tonkotsu this time (straying from miso hot), and it was simply okay. The broth was lacking but the noodles were as good as I remember. The pork also wasn't my super favorite compared to some others I've had recently. Overall, you still can't beat the atmosphere and variety of menu! SUSURU has such a fun vibe, definitely feels like you're stepping into a cozy Tokyo izakaya. The food was great across the board: the chicken karaage was crispy and juicy, the yuzu street corn was flavorful with a nice citrus kick, and the yakitori had a perfect char. The service was friendly and efficient even though it was packed, and the staff kept everything moving smoothly. The ambiance is lively and a bit loud, but that's part of the charm, great spot for a casual dinner or date night. Prices are fair for the quality and portion sizes. Came to Susuru for our first meal in Orlando during Fall Break and had an amazing time. Food and service were on point and the quality was fantastic - Japanese tapas? Yes, please! Ambiance was great and felt like we were in a hip Izakaya restaurant in Japan! Here's what we ordered: 1 Thigh Momo 1 Chicken Oyster Soriresu 2 Wagyu Short ribs 1 Pork Belly 1 Brussel Sprouts 1 Shishito Peppers 1 Eggplant 1 White Rice (for our young one to enjoy with the Wagyu Short ribs 2 Susuru Chashu Gohan 1 Tori Paitan Ramen 1 Mi-so-hot ramen 1 Yuzu Street Corn 1 King Oyster 3 Hot Green Teas 1 Asahi Draft 1 Matcha Tiramisu (which comes with hot green tea, but us not knowing this, our waitress was kind enough to give us all refills on our green teas) For our family of four this was a wonderful first meal Izakaya style to break the ice to begin our Fall Break vacation in Orlando, Florida! Came to Susuru to celebrate a special moment and had an amazing experience from start to finish. We sat at the bar and Dennis took great care of us -- super attentive, friendly, and quick with recommendations. He made the whole dinner feel relaxed and enjoyable, which really added to the night. I ordered the Tantan Ramen, and it was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. My dining partner had the Tonkatsu Ramen, which came out creamy and savory, exactly how tonkatsu should be. We also shared the Salmon Tataki, and it was super fresh and one of the highlights of the meal. Overall, Susuru continues to be one of the best ramen spots in Orlando. The food is consistently great, the atmosphere is fun and lively, and Dennis's service made the visit even better. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're craving quality ramen and a memorable dining experience. read more

The food was great!! The bowls might look small in the photo and it was deep and a very filling portion. We ordered the hambagu (not pictured) as well but it was so salty wouldn't recommend. The mentaiko fries is a classic must with the sauce but they charged for extra sauce. The decorations/aesthetic were also very cute and classic. read more
Last dinner in Florida before heading back to California & this place ended on a high note... I wasn't sure if I could eat anymore on this vacation but, when the food is good, you can!... I read this place gets packed quickly after opening so i was nervous going on a Friday after work. Got there about 25 mins after it was open. The place had a good amount of people already with others on wait list. A great chill atmosphere which is how i understood why people come. Since I was alone, there was a space at the bar. The bartender was so nice and chill. I loved her vibe!! I had a the Layover in Tokyo cocktail and it was so good! I started my first round with short ribs, pork belly, inner thigh and chicken nanban. All so tender and juicy. The sauce for the chicken nanban is addicting. I need a bottle for home. My second round was the chicken gizzards, baby Scallops and susuru Gohan. All so good! Baby Scallops became my fave and I had to order one more time before leaving. I highly recommended this place! read more
I would recommend that if you want to be able to get a seat fast on a weekend, you need to wait outside at least 20/30 min before they open; I went about an hour after they opened and had to wait about an hour for a spot inside the restaurant, but waiting for a while is worth it if youre able to! The food was all very delicious; the skewers were grilled with just a little bit of char and salt and the meats were tender and juicy. The mentaiko fries were my favorite alongside the negitoro handrolls (the handroll was on a limited menu). The saba shioyaki was grilled well and the lemon juice and grated daikon gave it a refreshing taste. The server will torch the butter on the grilled onigiri when it arrives to the table, and the butter gave it a nice aroma but it was a bit rich to eat by itself. The server was also very nice and attentive, stopping by and checking up on our table. I will say though near the front of the entrance when you walk in, it does have an odor but when you get past the seating area its all good! The interior was decorated in a retro/rustic style with japanese signs and lanterns, and alot of older japanese toys and labels, which I enjoyed alot. Very worth coming here! read more
We arrived shortly after opening and were told the wait would be 45 minutes to an hour. We waited about 50 minutes in total for a table of four, which wasn't too bad considering it was Christmas week. We tried a few different skewers. The short ribs were a bit chewy and not the best, but the chicken hearts, shinkawa, and achilles were good. The okonomiyaki $10 was packed with lots of cabbage. The unagi don $40 had a good amount of eel, and my daughter loved it. The uni ikura don $35 was heavenly, my favorite, but the portion was really small. The chashu gohan was alright, it felt like just pork belly over rice. We also ordered tonkatsu ramen $17 and chicken karaage $11, which my son enjoyed and devoured. The matcha tiramisu came with two teas, which paired very nicely together. Our total was $181 before tipping. We'll be back next time when we're in Florida! read more

A must-visit for any ramen fan (like me)! I went on a Monday night and it was still an hour and a half wait, but so worth it. Our waitress, Asia, was super nice and helpful, and I loved the decor. Ramen is easily one of my favorite foods, and I was not disappointed here. Tonkotsu is my favorite, and I LOVE when a place has the black garlic oil, so I was ecstatic to see tonkotsu with black garlic oil on the menu. I'd highly recommend adding the black garlic oil whenever you can, because it brings an already amazing dish to the next level. Everything was so good and the portions are huge. It was hard to stop! Even then, you leave feeling feel but not gross. The prices aren't bad at all, especially considering the quality of the food. read more
Great Japanese food for Japanese bar. This is very typical Japanese bar setup with great atmosphere. Most seat is stool. Many come here to order the cocktails and sake. The place is popular. Wait time is needed during dinner time to get in the restaurant. We start with Tako wasa. This is raw squid in wasabi liquid sauce. This is some unique food I never had before. It good to go with other dish. The second dish is the yuzu street corn. It is cheese grilled corn. It is delicious. The third dish is grilled scallops, short rib and gizzard. The marinated flavor is in there. The fourth dish is Hamachi Kama. This is fried yellowtail cheek. The fish was fried to the bone is crispy. Very interesting. The forth dish is the Achilles yakitori. This chicken Achilles meat. The sixth dish is the Tonkutsu ramen. I feel the chashu meat is very tiny. The broth was make in 12 hour braise. Broth is thick and good. The last dish is the Yaki Onigiri Chazuke. This is a grilled rice bowl top with grilled pork belly. Then the soup is add to the bowl before serving. This is very special dish. Highly recommended. Overall service is good. Food is definitely good. Atmosphere is great like Japan dining. read more

Susuru was the perfect little capstone to my girlfriend and I's date night! Great atmosphere, amazing food, and we even got a little trinket with our drink that we could take home with us to remember and commemorate our night!! The place was such a vibe. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted with a bunch of vintage Japanese decor that draw you in and intrigue you right from the get go. We also enjoyed how they played popular anime music and it definitely helped elevate the fun factor and the experience as a whole! Our server was also great! She was super attentive, explained the menu to us, and even gave us her food recommendations (more on that later). Food was 10/10! It could be a tad pricey but the quality of the food more than justifies the cost! Our favorite dishes had to have been the short rib kushiyaki and the kawa (chicken skin) yakitori that our server recommended for us. The short rib was bursting with flavor and was so mouthwateringly juicy whereas the kawa yakitori had that flavorful crunch to balance...so glad our server recommended that one to us! To top things off, Susuru is super close to nearby hotspots like Disney Springs which makes it extremely easily to fit it into your plans for the day (which is what my girlfriend and I did last minute haha). Plenty of parking too so no need to worry about that!! Our experience at Susuru was memorable and left us wanting more! Susuru is my favorite ramen shop. Get there early and put your name in for a table, the wait is worth it. The ramen is consistently great. The space is cozy with eclectic, retro Japanese decor that feels fun and lived-in. If you love ramen, this place is a must. read more

This was my favorite spot on my trip to Orlando! The inside is decorated just like a Japanese izakaya with lots of Japanese paraphernalia, which made me feel like I was back in Japan. Everything we got on the menu was delicious! I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could've tried more. I love Yuzu, so my favorites were the yuzu street corn and the tori paitan. The servers were very attentive, especially with all the water I was drinking. Next time I'm in Orlando, I'll be back! read more
Went for dinner on a Friday night after a friend's recommendation to try this izakaya. Beer choices were off the chain. The IPA was great. The ramen had delicious slices of chicken breast. The Murdock root was thinly sliced and seasoned. It was a nice touch to the ramen bowl. The bartender took care of us and did a great job explaining dishes and making suggestions. read more

I actually really like Susuru, I know it gets compared to its "better" sister restaurant Juju but I prefer Susuru's hours and variety on the menu! This is a Japanese izakaya with small plates meant to be shared. I've tried most of the menu but my standouts are: -- hamachi kama (takes the kitchen a long time to make but it comes piping hot and delicious) -- uni ikura don -- okonomiyaki (though it was a bitttt heavy on the mayo) -- scallop skewers -- the fries (so perfectly crispy and easy to be shared) I honestly think most of the skewers are just okay, nothing really stands out to me for meat quality. The chicken cartilage skewer was like 85% meat, so that was disappointing because I was expecting some crunch. The tako wasa was just okay for me too, a bit too much wasabi (almost overpowering) and not enough octopus. It was served on its own and not with any seaweed or accompaniment. Since the dishes are small, expect to order a lot to satisfy your table. I would say the total probably comes out to about $40-$50 per person, not including drinks. The cocktails, by the way, are super cute and come with little figurines or keepsakes you can take home. On busier nights, I think the kitchen can have trouble keeping up. So expect a longer dinner if you've ordered many items for your table. read more

Cute, vintage vibe inside. Made me feel like I was in Japan. Service was great, and we only had to wait 10 mins for a table. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile, so as you can see from the pics, we tried quite a few things. My gf and I felt the food was good, but nothing stood out as amazing. Overall, we had a good experience but the food could've had more flavor. My favorite thing I tried was the gyoza's. read more
Susuru is a popular izakaya in Orlando, Florida with vintage playful decor and the 80s vibes that instantly teleports you to Japan. This is our first and also favorite meal in this trip. Pork* A small bowl of rice topped with soy marinated raw egg yolk, onion, diced braised pork. The rice is drizzled with sweet soy sauce and remember to mix the runny yolk with it. It comes with a perfect small portion that it won't fill you up too much, so you have more room for other food. ＊Mentaiko Fries** We asked for extra mentaiko mayo and it was a $1 well spent. Excellent side to snack on and pair with beer. ＊Tako Wasa*** Unexpectedly this is my favorite! The raw octopus is soaked in wasabi sauce. Very tender and slippery in texture. ＊Hiyayakko Tofu Cold tofu coated with dashi soy sauce, minced ginger and crispy sakura shrimps. Light and delightful treat. ＊Yakitori - Beef Tongue, Short Ribs, Tsukune Beef tongue is well seasoned and tender, while the short ribs are just okay. Tsukune is a chicken meatball skewer. We picked miso pesto and garlic mayo for the sauce but nothing impressive. I should have asked for raw egg instead for the most authentic experience. ＊Chicken Karaage Skippable. Overall: Great ambiance, fast service, decent food and drinks, but it was pricey: Ambiance: They make good use of the space. I definitely like the wood and decor. Service: We were sat quickly. Food came out quickly. Drinks: Both drinks were great! They didn't have the mugs they came in which was disappointing. Food: Mentaiko Fries - a good amount! I like crunch but it was too heavy on the mayo. The mayo had no spice to it at all. I wouldn't order this again just bc the mayo was not great. A5 Wagyu: After going to Japan nothing compares, it was good but not enough pieces for the price. If you were by yourself. I think this plus another app would be enough. I have always wanted to come here and I finally made it! This place looks so cool on the inside, very retro old school Japanese vibes. The service here was quick and our server was very nice. If you are unfamiliar with Japanese food or the Japanese names for food items the menu could be a little overwhelming. I encourage you to try new things or just ask the staff, everything here was so good I don't think you could go wrong. We tried so many things and loved everything. The Karaage was perfectly crispy and delicious. The noodles in the ramen were amazing! So was the broth. The pork belly skewer just melts in your mouth. I cannot recommend this place enough. It's so good and you can tell they put care into preparing every dish. I cannot wait to come back here and try the rest of the menu! read more

Vegan options for non fish eaters?
Yes there were several vegetarian/vegan options. I tried a few and they were quite delicious.
Are you open on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

They didn't use to, but they do take your name and you can see where you are on a website

No happy hour from what I have seen from the original menus.
Gluten free options or menu?
Yes. and they have Tamari Soy sauce. Just some items may not be available, depending on if prefabbed or not. Just ask your server. At the event I went to, one of my tablemates was Gluten free and they were able to accommodate her.
Are there vegetarian options? Question answered! They have vegan ramen that isn't on the menu! We ordered ramen and skewers, lotus chips, radish salad w/out fish/meat. Just ask! Cool space, cool staff. Will be back w/veg + carnivore friends!
Some of my friends ordered vegetarian ramen before (by request). They said the vegan ramen tasted really good.
Do they take reservations?
We do not take reservations. I recommend calling ahead for estimated wait times!
