Okay, okay, so Sutter Home might not be the fanciest of wine, but visiting their tasting room, and vineyards is really a pretty fun experience and I think worth the stop while you're in Napa. First of all, I found myself on a girls trip to Napa when sadly I could no longer drink alcohol, I know what am I even doing here? But for real, I had a lovely time here. Did you know that Sutter Home actually has a really robust selection of NA wine? They offered me a flight of their NA options and I happily partook while my friends enjoyed the regular variety. Now, I'm one of those people that usually doesn't enjoy NA alcoholic beverages - they tend to taste really odd to me and kind of just make me miss the real deal, but I came in with no expectations and I was pleasantly surprised by some of the NA options here. The reds tasted a bit more like grape juice than I would have liked but I think if you aren't drinking the NA white options might surprise you with the slight bite they offer. If I was rating this experience solely on the NA wine I would probably give it more of a 3.5 or 4, but the staff here is so kind, and for the price point the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Overall, the whole experience is worth a stop, and it's nice to learn a little about the history of this winery and how it became such a widely distributed brand in America.

Such a stellar winery! We all know and love Sutter Home - it's obviously a wine staple! This down-to-earth winery has some delicious wines with a super cute outdoor area that has a historical building, outdoor gathering space, and cute benches with greenery everywhere. The employees here were so awesome and nice - shoutout Morgan for being the best wine connoisseur! Truly nothing bad to say about this place. The wine was awesome, the space was so cute, and the staff was great. I recommend this place!

Sutter home is a extremely familiar Brandt many of us as you see it just about everywhere but to see this property in person was incredible. The grounds are so well-maintained. The house that sits on the property is so idyllic a dream of a chance to Airbnb there it's definitely giving Hemingway vibes. We were able to do a tasting and sample some of their sparkling wines as well as their red and they're white and there wasn't a bad grape in the bunch. In side, the store, there's plenty to shop for as well as ask questions to some of the wine clerks

We were looking forward to this wine tasting because the reviews were pretty good but I do have to say the wine pourings themselves were really really tiny. The property is pretty and hey it's only $15 a person so have lower expectations.

If you're looking for a good summertime drink. This is good to go!!

I found a new all time favorite summer wine! It's called Sangria and it's made by Sutter Home. Try it on ice or just cold! It's so good and it's not to sweet but just right with the right amount of alcohol content. I usually get the four pack but it also comes in a full bottle. So fruitful and fresh. It's perfectly made!! I can't thank you enough. I haven't been to this winery but wanted to let you know if you do go ask for the Sangria. Tell them you heard good things and Sylvia recommended them highly. Now excuse me while I consume my all time favorite! Good wine at a reasonable price!

This was my first time visiting this storied winery in the heart of Napa. We were greeted by Simone, who was friendly, patient, and helpful. We did a wonderful wine tasting, and chose the Founder's Flight and the Fruit Flight. Both were amazing. We took our Flights outside in their beautiful garden area, where they have great seating arrangements with umbrellas to block the hot sun, and a very nice gazebo. As the wind gave us comfort from the heat, we took our time enjoying each glass from our Flights. The flavors were rich, and the Fruit wines embodied fresh fruit juice with moscato. The combinations were perfect. The final glass was (I believe) a dark Pinot that paired perfectly with a dark sea salt chocolate candy. It was delicious. The ambiance, the wine, and the service we received from Simone was above stellar. I can't wait to come back and try a few other Flights.

Quality experience relative to low cost - true definition of value! Having a complimentary experience was a pleasant break from the otherwise pricey Napa, especially since complimentary in this case, not only didn't mean having to sacrifice quality but actually was an even more enjoyable experience than some more expensive places. The tasting options include the complimentary wine tasting flight, founder's selection ($5), and sweet flight ($5) - there was 3 of us in our group so we each chose a different flight to share we could try all the different wines. As stated on their website, Sutter Home wines are "wine for the people" and their wines live up to this - all the wines we tasted were easy-drinking and fun! The fruit infusions are delightful - we particularly enjoyed the wild berry and pineapple. The majority of the wines tend to be on the sweeter side - perfect for those that enjoy sweeter wines and a fun treat even if you tend not to. Outstanding service! We were the only ones there during our scheduled tasting time and our host made us feel very welcome. Our host encouraged us to explore the charmingly beautiful grounds in between each pour. He even came out with a towel to ensure all the seating was dry after the dewey morning. Overall, we had such a fantastic, memorable time! Highly recommend adding to the itinerary for first-time Napa goers!

I would definitely recommend Sutter Home! Erika took great care of our group of 55! We were greeted wonderfully by the staff. We started our tasting in the tasting room, followed by our final tasting outside on the lawn. The venue is stunning - such a beautiful spot to spend the afternoon. Plus, the wine was delicious and affordable!

Beautiful and relaxing outdoor area. Our hostess invited us to sit in the gazebo and it was amazing. The staff were friendly and beyond accommodating. We didn't have a reservation and decided to stop by to see if they could squeeze us in. They were able to give us a reservation for the next hour. Better vibes and customer experience than some of the vineyards that charge $50+ pp for tastings. Highly recommend! Fruit infusion flight was a fun, light selection of fruity wines perfect for a nice day.

Not much to see... wine is great if ya love sweet. So many wines to choose from.. nice outdoor seating

A cute little place to taste some wines. Friendly staff. Tasty wine. If you are a red wine lover go for the complementary. If you are a white/sweet wine lover go for the fruit infused. The sweet flight is called sweet but honestly for me it was more towards the red wine side of things. We loved the berry fruit infused wine! We got a person who didn't give us any history or information about the wines or the place which was a bummer but someone in our party who had been there before said that last time they had someone who did give info.

I love sutter home been going since 2017. I went this past weekend and Ms Jennie and Ms Simone helped me and it was just as magical as always. I'm not really a wine girl But the orange trees and lemon trees set the scene for a country girl like me to feel at home. Keep it up sutter home I might move in!

Review #400! We have…read morevisited V Sattui several times over the years, and it was on our itinerary for our current Napa trip, primarily because we wanted to get lunch at their food market. V Sattui is rather unique among the region's wineries, for several reasons: they have a food market, they allow purchased bottles to be consumed on site, they allow picnicking, and they serve as a wedding venue. This is not easy to achieve in Napa's ridiculously restrictive permitting landscape. So first, let's talk about the food market, which is one of the main attractions of this place. The cheese shop alone is worth going out of your way for. Almost every type of cheese you can hope to find. Sorry to my idealistic vegan aspirations, but I don't think I'll be giving up cheese anytime soon. They have a deli with sandwiches, pastas and various side dishes, olives, fruits, etc. Come on an empty stomach and be ready to eat well. When we first arrived at the winery, we were welcomed in by the very nice host, who explained the tasting menu options, if we were interested in a tasting. About 13 wines to choose from, and you get to pick any 5, $45 per tasting. Love the flexibility. Lots of white and rose options, as opposed to many wineries which just pile on the reds. I like a good red, don't get me wrong, usually with a big dinner, but on a hot summer day, I want lighter, refreshing wines. So we were sold, and signed up for an indoor tasting before lunch. During the couple of years we've been away from Napa, the winery has completely rebuilt their tasting room and store, for both structural and cosmetic reasons. It looks fantastic now, featuring a very attractive, modern circular tasting bar. Would have taken pics, but I try to avoid posting pictures of strangers on the internet, and the tasting room was filled with people. We grabbed a seat at the bar, and were greeted by our tasting guide, Lucas. Lucas was amazing. Personable, hospitable, and engaging. He made us feel welcome, got to know us, and ensured we had a great time throughout, even though he was serving multiple other customers at the same time. I could never do his job. I selected all white and rose wines, and RB went with mostly red. My favorites were the off-dry Riesling, and the Sauvignon Blanc. RB's Preston Vineyards cab was also very good, but again, I would need a hearty meal to consume this with. Lucas also treated us to a couple of complimentary pours, and the Madeira was an especially nice treat. We finished up our tasting, bid au revoir to Lucas, and made our way to the deli for lunch. We were hungry and decided to keep it simple with the essentials - cheese (of course), sweet baguette, and grapes. So many enticing cheeses to choose from, but you can't go wrong with French Brie and medium cheddar, so that's what we opted for. As for the beverage selection, RB's and my wine palates do not always align, but we can usually agree on bubbles, so that's what we did. Armed with a bottle of Brut cuvée and the aforementioned goodies, we made our way out to the picnic area. It's lovely out there. Many picnic tables, in the shade or in the sun, or you can picnic on the grass. We found a shaded table in the breeze overlooking Route 29, and settled in for our leisurely lunch. Terrific experience start to finish, even better than I remember from the past. Make sure you make V Sattui part of your Napa itinerary.

The tour is 120/person for an 1.5 hours. I little pricey but we enjoyed it. We had Bryan for a tour guide and he was informative and really knew how to work the crowd to make it an enjoyable experience. They have strictly reds with bottles starting at 60 bucks. The caves were really interesting. The chandeliers in them make some pretty photo ops. It's nice and cool in there to get you out of the Napa heat in the middle of the day You end the tour with some more tasting in the lobby area. Best of all the tour comes with some very welcome pizza and tater tots! We did our second stop at v. Sattui afterwards and to be honest it was a nice contrast of ambience between the two wineries.

The caves are unlike any I have been in before where they are usually rustic. These are beautifully decorated and all kinds of art. I would have liked to see more of the caves but they just have the dercorated section open for these tours. The barrel tasting was great and surprisinly all their wines are pretty drinkable right out of the barrell I suppose because they dont have much tannins so they dont need alot of tiem to mellow. I liked most of them but at $250 a botttle I felt they were way overpriced compared to other high end Napa area wines we are familiar with. After the cave tour they sit inside and you get to try several more wines so we had plenty to drink. I was not expecting a full size pizza for the two of us we already had lunch plan right after so we took most of it with us. Only bought two bottles of their less expensive wines at $95 each which is still a little high!! Probably wont be back since the value just isnt there for purchasing their wines but I do reccomend the tour.

November is the perfect time to wine taste in Napa in my opinion, it's not crowded but the weather is still so nice. Pros: - TRULY delicious wine. We did all reds and they started us off with a welcome Rose, which surprisingly was extremely good (it was more red than the typical rose) - Christian was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable asking questions even if the questions were super simple, I like that the place is boujee but doesn't give off an uppity vibe and the vibe of the staff really made me want to get more into wine knowledge! - extremely cute and aesthetic but simple vibes, the view upstairs speaks for itself so it doesn't require a ton of cheesy decor. Very relaxing environment - The top wines that stood out to me are the Rutherford Hillside 2015 and the legacy 2018. Ended up going home with a bottle of the legacy ($195 ish). - This was definitely the most "expensive" winery I've ever visited (based on bottle price) but I feel like I learned a ton about the winery, Napa in general, and everything tasted SO. GOOD. I have no regrets. - The breadsticks are so buttery and delicious. I 100% understand why my friends are members here. - Flora Springs was kind enough to let our friends' 20% discount apply to the bottles we took home! Which really makes a difference when the wines are 100-200 bucks each. But they do have some more "affordable" options to take home too in the 50-70 range. - Many spots to take cute photos - Kept our waters filled the whole time, let us take home free pens - Plenty of easy parking Cons: - none. 10/10 would love to come back and join the club when I make more money LOL
