The snapper itself was absolutely incredible, we devoured it. For our sides, we got plantains and salad. The plantains were so good, but you can skip the salad. It's literally just some cut veggies without dressing or any seasoning other than some dried cilantro. You do have to track down the waiters a bit but they will make sure your drinks are full and that you are otherwise taken care of. The ceviche and lomo saltado also looked incredible.

Inside although small is spacious enough for numerous tables and even a nother section possible for private events or bigger parties. The menu is huge and has all the traditional foods. On this day we started with the cancha and spicy green sauce. We gobbled them up and apprciated the perfect saltiness and added spice of the sauce. Our main dishes were the traditional saltado. Meat was cooked a little more than I preferred but the rice, fries, and sauce all complimented eachother and bellies were full. Check out a staple and leave full.

Those are the standouts. Just don't expect your 20% gratuity to include help boxing up your leftovers.

Wanting to enjoy a pisco sour with our lunch, we were told we would have to wait because there was a problem with the ice. When we got that first round, they were enjoyable & with enough of a buzz. While it did have the classic egg white foam, ours were missing the angostura garnish. When we ordered a second round of it, there was again a problem with placing the order and my friend and I settled for beers. The fact we couldn't fully enjoy this classic cocktail was why this review stays at three stars.

I'm only in Miami for the weekend so I have to make my restaurant selections count. I was in the mood for sushi & somehow this place popped up in the suggestions. This place definitely has some of the best sushi I've ever had. The rolls are unique & delicious. I especially liked that you could choose between 4 or 8 pieces b/c I was able to try multiple rolls, which btw we're all fantastic. They also serve beer, wine & sake which was a nice surprise. When you order ceviche you can choose the dressing/sauce which is also super cool. For starters we had the tuna tataki which was was delicious too. The only thing we ordered that I wasn't blown away by was the lomo saltado bites. It's one of my favorite Peruvian dishes however I think I'll stick to ordering the actual dish next time. One word: Delicious. Most places have trouble getting sushi right or doing ceviche well, but Suviche nails both. Tasty, fresh, and creative ceviche with get-in-my-mouth-already sushi makes this place a staple of my SOBE diet. It's mercifully off the main Lincoln road drag, so it's rarely too busy but still close to everything. Plus, it's right next door to the only *hic* brewery in SOBE: The Abbey. Menu-wise, you can't go wrong with any of the signature ceviches or rolls. If memory serves, a few of my favorites are the suviche and suvama ceviches paired with the perfection, suviche, eye doctor, samba, and citrus fire rolls. Note that this is a beer/wine/sake-only establishment, but trust me that you'll be too busy stuffing your face to notice. Damn, now I'm hungry. read more

Taller Saltado looked a little different and strange; It was on top of mayonnaise, and honestly, all Peruvals know that Taller Salato does not have mayonnaise. It would be good if they emphasize this when the chef wants to add something new to the recipe of a dish, because we imagine customers the dish as it is, not with mayonnaise on it.
