Suya on the spot is a Casual African restaurant. The Food was good. We arrived right when they open so it took a little time for the food. I didn't mind because everything was made fresh. I definitely would return and recommend to others.

Sorry, I started eating before I got a pic and had to get a quick one before I finished it!! Beef suya: 11/10!!!! I'll def be back! They make the suya to order and right in front of you! RUN DON'T WALK!!!!

Was in the area and saw someone make a TikTok about this place. The suya did not disappoint it was delicious! They give you a large portion too. The customer service was great as well. I would eat here again.

This was my second attempt to eat here , first time they "ran out of jollof" (it was early afternoon) Went today, ordered suya chicken and jollof, Cost 16 dollars , was a 20 minute wait for the food. People I ordered before got their food before me.(maybe order for pick up) . Food rating 7/10

I was driving down the street one day and happen to see this sign so I was intrigued to try it. My friend happened to go this morning and enjoyed it so I figured let me give it a try on my way home. I ordered a pack of the beef and one order of the chicken. I enjoyed the beef more than the chicken. The chicken tasted like it may be chicken breast and was a little dry for my liking but It had a little spice to it as well so that helped give it a nice little kick. The portion size was lent bad for the price as well. I'd say the beef suya was 4/5 and the chicken was 3/5

This place is small but it's packing a lot of flavor. The customer service was good. The food is made fresh and they have homemade drinks. Almost everything me and my friends had was delicious. My favorite was the turkey Suya, meat pies, samosas, beef suya and zobo slushies. If you are looking for some good African food. I would highly recommend this place

I tried food from this restaurant at the Halal Festival. The staff was nice at the booth. They had samples of juice for you to try. I ordered beef suya and jollof rice plate, the pineapple ginger juice and zobo (sorrel) juice. I enjoyed them all! I do however wish that the cabbage and tomato had not been raw. It worked out though because when I warmed up the plate at home, it softened the raw veggies. The jollof and meat had a good kick of spice to it.

First time here. When I exited my car I could smell the deliciousness. I ordered the beef suya ($10) and chicken suya ($10) and a samosa pack (5 pieces for $5). Beef suya way better than the chicken, the chicken was just chunks vs the beef was cut more thinly. I will definitely be back for the beef suya.

Wow they actually have the actual right suya spice. It's made fresh right in front of you over the grill. The meat for the beef suya could be drier but the taste makes up for it. Plus having the classic Nigerian games (Ludo, Whot) is cool.

They always have a sample of the Golden Bowl for anyone to taste & it's absolutely my go to dish. All the ingredients work well together in this Golden Bowl. Everything from the stewed hen, to the rice, to the greens were all so well seasoned and I truly enjoyed every bite (8.5/10). The meat pie was also delicious with a savory filling and the pastry was thick and buttery but surprisingly not overbearing considering the pastry to filling ratio (8/10). Overall the food was awesome and seemed quite authentic. Would definitely come back to support this small local business!

Overall, I found the food to be very flavorful, well seasoned, and unique. My daughter and I actually ended up liking each other's meals more than our own, so we switched plates, which worked out well. We also ordered a few extra items, including wings and yams. The pounded yam was interesting and very different from anything I usually eat. It is probably not something I would go out of my way to order again, but I am glad I tried it and now understand a little better how it is eaten. The one disappointing part of the visit was the ordering experience. The young man who rang us up was polite, but he was unable to make any recommendations. He said he had been working there for about three months and still could not really suggest what to order. For someone like me, who is unfamiliar with this type of food, recommendations would have been very helpful. I would have appreciated some guidance on the most popular dishes, common choices, or what first-time customers usually enjoy. That said, the owner was extremely kind. She came out to our table, spoke with us, and helped explain how to eat some of the food we had ordered. I really appreciated that. She came across as a very sweet person, and based on her hospitality alone, I would come back to support the business. This style of food may not personally be my cup of tea or something I will crave often, but I respect the flavor, the care, and the local business behind it. I would give Bantu House four stars. It could have been closer to 3.5 for me personally, mostly because of the lack of ordering guidance, but the owner's kindness and the quality of the food pushed it to four.

There was a older man waiting for food, staring at the big screen tv, DANCING to the music. This is a great sign! Do you know how good this food is about to be, because I do, if it makes Papa DANCE!!! Oh yeah, I was getting excited. There was a fridge stocked FULL TO THE BRIM and spilling over onto the floor of every soda, both American and African, plus several types of beer. To me this read as "yup, you gone be thirsty after this FIYAHHHHHH"! And they weren't wrong! My food came out piping hot, relatively quickly, and paired with warm water for hand washing! Not every African restaurant is this traditional, so I again, knew it was about to go down!!!!! I would get into a lengthy description of the groundnut soup but that would waste more of your time reading, instead of driving, STRAIGHT TO Afrikiko!!! I will say that the side of spinach that I requested was so smooth and tomatoey and robust with flavor, that I was thoroughly surprised. I was expecting just a side of sautéed spinach, maybe a bit of onion or garlic, but that damn spinach was soooooo good I almost licked the bowl. If I could give 10 stars I would!
