I was driving down the street one day and happen to see this sign so I was intrigued to try it. My friend happened to go this morning and enjoyed it so I figured let me give it a try on my way home. I ordered a pack of the beef and one order of the chicken. I enjoyed the beef more than the chicken. The chicken tasted like it may be chicken breast and was a little dry for my liking but It had a little spice to it as well so that helped give it a nice little kick. The spice goes very well with the suya and rice but don't put too much you might end up with a cleared sinus. I tried food from this restaurant at the Halal Festival. The staff was nice at the booth. They had samples of juice for you to try. I ordered beef suya and jollof rice plate, the pineapple ginger juice and zobo (sorrel) juice. I enjoyed them all! I do however wish that the cabbage and tomato had not been raw. First time here. When I exited my car I could smell the deliciousness. I ordered the beef suya ($10) and chicken suya ($10) and a samosa pack (5 pieces for $5). Wow they actually have the actual right suya spice. It's made fresh right in front of you over the grill. The meat for the beef suya could be drier but the taste makes up for it. Plus having the classic Nigerian games (Ludo, Whot) is cool. read more

We've been here twice already and have enjoyed the beef suya, turkey suya, jollof rice, meat pie and zobo drink. The suya is pretty tasty and prepared well. Nice portion for the price. You can either get the suya alone for $15 or for the same price have jollof rice with a smaller beef suya portion. If you are sharing I would suggest getting the suya on its own and add a side of jollof rice for $10 so there's more meat to go around. I didn't particularly care for the Turkey suya as much but it wasn't bad at all. It had nice texture but could've used a little more seasoning. The jollof rice was nice and smoky. It had a a little bit of a kick but not much. The meat pie was standard. I liked the crust but the filling was average. Tasty but nothing to rave about. Lastly, I really enjoyed their zobo slush. I don't know if they're using the same recipe but the bottled zobo didn't taste as good as the slush for some reason. The slush seemed to have more spice. I like my zobo to have a lot more of a punch! Good customer service. They have no problem explaining all of the menu items. Not much of a wait time even when they're busy. There are also games at each table and music playing so that you are entertained while visiting. Overall, I recommend this business. I will definitely be coming back! Amazing beef and chicken Suya. The Jollof rice is great as well, it is spicy so keep that in mind if you can't handle spicy food. I wish they had sweet plantains to cut down the heat from the Suya. I got a pineapple/ginger juice and I don't not recommend that with any spicy food cause it makes the food spicer. Stick to water or some other non-ginger drink. I paid and they packaged my food. I inquired about the Goat that they sell on the weekends for $10. The guy showed me the very small plastic container that it comes in. This is Suya, masa, drinks, snacks as you'd expect from Northern Nigeria. Additionally, the ladies and owner were such a delight to engage with.
