The employee told me they didn't have the car and that my only option was to pay more for a pricier model. So while still at the same location, I even booked the "Wild Card/Manager's Special" on Booking.com, which clearly states you'll get any available car at the economy rate. She still refused to honor that as well and said the only option available once again is to upsell me. This is directly against both Hertz's advertised policy and normal rental practices. We canceled and went to another company. I would avoid this location -- they do not honor reservations or their own guarantees.
