The contact person, Alex, was friendly and responsive. The estimate was emailed to me, the moving day was confirmed, and everything seemed to be in order. I was given an arrival window of 2-4pm, which was later than ideal, but they weren't available earlier, and I was booking on shorter than optimal notice, so I went with it. I had scheduled two stops, one at a storage facility, the second at our new home. Moving day arrived. Sometime after 3pm, I contacted Alex just to check on the ETA, and was informed that the moving team was running late, but the company would provide three movers instead of two at no additional charge to expedite the process. I was then handed off directly to the team to communicate with. When I texted the movers, I was told they were indeed running behind, and after some back-and-forth, they informed me they could begin around 6pm. At that point I responded that 6 in the evening was too late to start a move, especially with two scheduled stops, and we would need to reschedule for the following day. They agreed. Next day came around, and the team was once again running behind schedule. My window was 12-2pm, they arrived at 4. My partner and I had clearly sectioned and communicated which items were to go to the storage facility, and which were to go to our place. Despite this, as we later discovered, multiple items that were designated to be delivered to our home did not make it there. I can only hope they're in storage, but since our storage unit is packed to the gills, there is no easy way of finding out, and digging out items that we now need. On top of all this, the final cost ended up being well beyond the estimate provided. I see other reviewers have experienced the same, so take their estimate with a huge grain of salt. I do not feel good about my experience with this company, and cannot in good faith recommend them.

Having already moved 75% of my belongings on my own, I didn't have time or the energy for the last of the items (e.g., totes, clothes, tons of books, and a few misc. items) and needed movers within 1-2 days of my request. Mia assisted in solidifying the moving date and time via text and email. On the day of the move, the movers were ahead of schedule, so my booking time was moved up several hours, which was good because the temperature had been in the 90s. As planned, the movers met me at my storage unit. They were efficient in emptying the storage and securing my items onto their truck (took about 20 min). My new location has stairs inside the unit. When I tell you these guys worked like a well-oiled machine, it's an understatement. Not only did they manage to get all my stuff in my room without damaging anything, but they arranged the items in a manner that was feasible for me to access (by removing the clear wrap used to stack items onto their dollies) and placed items in a considerate way (so I could walk about the space). By doing so, I could unpack once they were finished. That saved me a considerable amount of time and was something I did not expect them to do but was glad that they did. Overall, they were on time, professional, efficient, and dependable. I paid via Zelle and tipped each mover $20. I highly recommend Seven Stars Movers and would hire them again.

I told them I only needed packing but they spoke very little English. I call the company to explain. She spoke to the gentleman so then they began packing. I asked them not to pack the things on the couch because those were items I needed to use. I also gave them labels I purchased to label the boxes. Then I went to my room to pack some of my items. After a while, I told the gentleman I had to run an errand and would return shortly. When I returned, the had finished. I looked around and everything was packed so I paid them and the left. Later, I realized that the had packed the things I asked them not to pack. But, no big deal, I'll just find the boxes they put them in. But then I found that not one box was labeled! Nothing! I had no clue what was in any box or what went where! This cause me so much stress and anguish because I moved into a 3 story townhome! Even if it was a single story, it still would be very upsetting but much easier to lug boxes from room to room versus up and down stairs!! I am still struggling to unpack and it has been 5 weeks now!

Odie & Adidas were really professional and their attitude was perfect. Moving sucks and they made it so much easier. Always asking what they could do and what was next. Very respectful. We had unfinished boxes and they packed them for us and taped up. Didn't even ask. I have a broken collarbone and they made sure I did very little. As far as the furniture handling I was really impressed. We had a couple not so sturdy pieces and they arrived in perfect condition. Nothing broken or even slightly damaged. Everything was clean too. They wrapped it all up with plastic. Like really can't say enough. Call em up. Also best price around and beyond worth it.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I would strongly caution anyone considering Buzzy Movers. My experience was extremely unprofessional from start to finish. The movers began the move 3 hours late, already exhausted, after getting their truck stuck for hours in my complex's driveway clearly marked "No Trucks Over 1 Ton." They later claimed the crew that got the truck stuck was different from the crew handling my move, but the movers who arrived immediately washed black grease off their arms in my sink before starting. That explanation simply did not add up. It took them 5.5 hours to move a 1-bedroom apartment only 4 miles away. During the move, they repeatedly slammed furniture and boxes up and down the stairs with their dolly loudly enough that multiple neighbors texted me to complain about the noise and behavior. They also failed to properly wrap several furniture pieces and damaged my bookshelf badly enough to break out the side panel. Despite my having photo evidence, they denied responsibility and claimed the damage already existed. They were not carefully holding any furniture on the dolly cart either, and I helped them not to drop some of my furniture pieces multiple times. I was not able to prevent them from damaging my bookshelf beyond repair or snapping the hose off my portable AC unit unfortunately. My experience them was careless, dishonest, and deeply frustrating.

We paid a lot ($300+) for each "crate" and expected fully constructed wooden boxes, but what arrived for each "crate" was a poorly constructed wooden rectangle to place the art in and some additional wood pieces to put each side to secure it - but it was in no way what was promised and needed a lot of extra layers to be even partially secure and protected. They also used floor protectors and mats the entire time, which I really appreciated in both homes. Not only were they efficient and careful, but they also made the whole experience enjoyable.
