The place has changed a bit, slightly different decor from the last time we were there. The atmosphere was more "bakya" than Kabayan (from across the street). Still nice. They kept the bar, which is good. The staff was friendly, but kind of rushed us to get our orders before the show started. They explained it would have been more difficult to take orders later. The food was really, really good. All the flavors were on point. For the appetizer, we had some Crispy Chicken Skins. It was nice and crispy, but it needed some more salt. We had the Port Belly Kare-Kare, Beef Salpicao, the Pancit Palabok, Laing and Gambas. The one that stole the show was the Bagnet. That was mind blowing! Very flavorful and I highly recommend it. Dare I say that the food was better than Kabayan. The Key Of C band rocked the whole night through. Everyone was dancing and enjoying the great music. It was such a fun-filled night. Definitely worth coming back to whether it's for the food or the music.

The chicken barbecue sticks were flavorful and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the lumpia Shanghai didn't quite hit the mark for me :( it tasted like it was fried in older oil, and the filling was very minimal, so it felt like mostly wrapper. I was most excited to try the pork sinigang. While the broth had good flavor, the pork didn't taste freshly cooked and came across as if it may have been made a day or two prior. Overall, I really liked the vibe of this place and the friendly service, which makes me hopeful that my next visit will be better. I'd definitely be open to giving it another try.

Came out in a sizzling platter with an egg and diced peppers topped with a red Thai? chili. It gets crispy as it sits and combined with the garlic rice is chef's kiss. Taro Leaves Sautéed in Coconut Milk 3/5 - not my cup of tea, it's a little bit on the heavy side, has a strong coconut milk flavor. Wasn't exactly my cup of tea. Palabok Overload 3/5 - was excited for this since I really enjoy Jollibee's Palabok. However, this dish lacked flavor. The sauce was lacking in flavor, it was not as shrimpy or seasoned as Jollibees. Combined with the noodles, it tasted even blander. The lumpia, calamari were good tho. This was a small restaurant but service was good. Food came out fast and staff was friendly and attentive.

Halo-halo was loaded and can be shared amongst 2 people. Service was quick and courteous, very respectful waiter that served us and made sure to give us an extra cup for sharing the Halo-halo, for me and my wife. In the middle of all the conversations, I grabbed my drinks and accidentally left my pastries on the counter. I didn't realize it until much later! I quickly sent them a DM, and they responded right away, telling me to come back the next day for fresh replacements. That level of kindness and customer service is rare these days. The team at Kora Bakery has always been amazinghumble, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of their customers. I've been supporting them since their pop-up days, and experiences like this are exactly why I'll continue to do so. Beyond the delicious baked goods, it's the people behind the bakery that make it such a special place. Well, that said I did try their new pastry which is spam and cheese and delicious. Reminds me of Hawaii. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity. Wishing you continued successyou've earned a customer for life! #korafortheculture

The strawberry donut, ensaymada, pineapple coconut and mango float were good. The flan was delicious but too heavy. There was a line but it moved quickly. Service was quick as well. Nice coffee shop with plenty of seating 4 stars because the donuts were a bit pricey. $100 for a dozen is a little too much. This is a 'nice to check off the list' place.

Famous for its charcoal-grilled skewers and communal Kamayan platters, the restaurant delivers an authentic, down-to-earth dining experience. The sweet-and-savory grilled pork and chicken skewers are undisputed crowd-pleasers. They are caramelized to perfection and pair beautifully with garlic rice. The restaurant offers multi-person platters served on banana leaves. It's a great, interactive way for groups to try a variety of meats and seafood. Beyond the grill, fans frequently praise the crispy pata (fried pork knuckle), lumpia(spring rolls), and kare-kare (oxtail in peanut sauce). Widely considered one of the most reasonably priced spots for quality Filipino cuisine in the borough. The dining room is located on the second floor. It has a lively, casual atmosphere that often features loud music. While many diners highlight the friendly and humorous service, online reviews show mixed opinions about customer service, with some visitors citing occasional long wait times or abrupt interactions at the takeout counter. Still, it is a pleasant place to have a meal when opting for Filipino food.

They were packed full of flavor and one if the best pork skewers I've ever had. We also had the pork sisig, which had a great mix of tender and crispy pork pieces. They have a lot of small tables. Service was pretty quick and staff members were nice and answered all questions. It's a place I would definitely return to in the future.

It's not the biggest restaurant though, so we probably got lucky (you should definitely make a res). -- Pork BBQ skewers were so delicious! The BBQ sauce was just the right amount of sweet, and the pork was cooked so well (juicy and tender). Portion size did feel a bit small for the price point, though -- Pork sisig was good. I liked how the onions / sour flavouring complemented the savoury flavour of the pork. It was a bit too salty to eat by itself (and we didn't quite finish), but fortunately we had some rice on the side to mellow it out somewhat. -- Finally we had the bangus binalot, which was good too. Milkfish is not the most common to find in the US and I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great dish here. It did not feel too oily/heavy from frying, and the fish paired excellently with the fragrant garlic rice. Overall, I had a very nice meal, and the price point was not unreasonable. I think overall the food felt a little salty, but otherwise everything was quite delicious. I think they've moved (nearby) since my visit and I'd love to re-visit and try some of their other dishes!
