Swan Crepe is a newer small specialty in a well known shopping center in Franklin Square. My sister and I decided to give them a try for dessert first knowing that Crepes were hopefully their item of true expertise...per the name! Pluses: 1.They make the crepe fresh for you after order in front of your faces practically. 2.There are a handful of options to choose from, with very popular ingredients like Nutella and Caramel. 3.They have more than just crepes - Bubble Teas and Smoothies too! In addition to food options. Minuses: 1. Small, tight parking lot at peak hours...thank goodness they have late hours. 2. Smallest commercial property in the lot by far. Only about 4 - 5 mini tables to dine in. 3. Could have had a bit more selected filling flavor in my dessert crepe item. Personally I choose the Caramel Fuji Apple crepe. Think it oddly suggested that cucumber would be in it, but didn't detect. It was good, not necessarily great, hence the 3 star. Would probably give them a chance on the food/bubble tea side of things to see if I can give them another star.

4 for the food 3 for the rest Got the chance to try the crepe - the dinners and the bubble tea!!! the 3- Very small space. We were going to eat there but when i got there first I said ill just bring food to house. No tv or music and small tables that weren't cleaned. There was nobody there and no calls coming in so there is no reason for a mess. I was not welcomed by the girl behind the coubter until I said hello. I may be a bit critical by that but also there were a lot of menu ootions written in there not on the menu but it was written and not in a bold way where I saw they had sushi. However the order was placed and made perfectly. the 4- The menu options are good and the food is fresh! The crepe was made right there with fresh sliced strawberries and it tasted delicious!!! The two bowls were great ... Chicken hibachi with a choive of rice - we tried the swan rice and its delish, the fried rice was amazing too. The miso soup was also good and not too salty. The dressings were amazing!! got the lychee bubble tea and will again! I might skip hibachi nect time and just go with a tea and crepe!!

Well well well, Swan Crepe, I am impressed. When they say express habachi, they mean it. I mean the quality of the food is right up there with some of the local, sit down, Japanese restaurants. They don't serve those little cheap shrimp you get from the Chinese stores either, no shade lol, just saying. I appreciated that, considering the price. The online ordering platform is super simple and efficient. It gives you the option to select pay cash or by card in the restaurant tho. -So far I've tried the shrimp crepe, dope... -The shrimp and chicken with Hibachi vegetables, excellent... -Gyōza, they were cool -And the shrimp and scallops with soup, fantastic Throw in a couple Thai iced teas and a Nutella strawberry crepe and Issa meal! (fresh strawberries btw) I think I've said enough to convince you all, go get it!

I ordered mango bubble tea. It wasn't what I expected. The taste was horrible. The mango wasn't fresh. I do not recommend it.

Was disappointed that they didn't give a lot of steak in the chicken and steak meal

I ordered the chicken and steak hibachi combo meal. It is one of the most expensive items on the menu and they actually raised their prices very recently. This is the amount of steak that I received with my meal. I was pretty disappointed when I opened my meal at home. Other than that , the food was tasty and seemed healthy

Solid! We spent 3 weeks in Paris in the springtime and I fell even more in love with crêpes and…read moregalettes while there, so naturally I'm searching for good crêpes at home. Creperie on Ludlow St came up in my search and we happened to be down that way on Sunday. I'm also a huge ice cream and gelato fan, but husband is lactose intolerant so he prefers non-dairy. Last year we discovered the amazing vegan ice cream at Orchard Grocery, but I wanted the real thing this trip and he apparently hadn't wanted a frozen treat at all so wouldn't do Orchard Grocer for himself and a different place for me. Happy medium? Share a good crêpe! We found it at Crêperie. SO many choices, many similar to ones we loved in France. Extensive selection, but it didn't take long to decide on the apple-walnut-caramel crêpe to share, costing not much more than 2 ice creams. We watched the lone young man as he poured batter onto the round griddle to just the perfect thinness; as he expertly flipped it; as he loaded on plenty of apple compote, plenty of walnuts, and gently squeezed caramel sauce. Then he folded it into a neat rectangle, scooped it into an exactly the same size pan, flipped the whole thing over onto another griddle and left it to heat while he made a crêpe for the person behind us. At exactly the right moment (was he watching the clock? or maybe he's just THAT good!), he flipped it over, slid the crêpe onto a plate, artistically drizzled more caramel sauce on top and then gently shook some powdered sugar over it. Handed me 2 forks and knives and we sat on stools at the counter for our Sunday afternoon treat! Excellent! They have several savory crêpes (in Paris, those were usually buckwheat crêpes called galettes) and many sweet ones. Unfortunately it's more of a takeout place, with just the few stools at a counter inside, and a couple of small tables outside. I'm still looking for a genuine Parisian-style restaurant with a good selection of galettes and crêpes - but this was a great find and I definitely recommend it to you!

Savory crepes are offered Breton style using buckwheat flour. These galettes bretonnes are light and crispy with an earthly toasted flavor, the ideal counterpoint to the fillings that accompany them such as hearty European cheeses, charcuterie, tangy pickles or spicy arugula leaves. Among them, galettes Choupette (fig, arugula, prosciutto, goat cheese), Ractiflette (potato, watercress, Raclette cheese, charcuterie) and Complète Jambon (Gruyère, organic egg, country ham) are super delish and totally worth a try. Sweet crepes, made with whole wheat flour, are the soft fluffy crepes we are more familiar with around here. Personal favorites include the Traditionnelle (butter, sugar), Hugette (pear, dark chocolate, almonds) and the Amour et jalousie (Nutella, banana, strawberry). Lots of beverage options here! The coffee is great, as are their ciders and their freshly squeezed (orange or grapefruit) juices.
