At first after speaking on the phone I felt confident that this business could get the job done. During three separate occasions I stopped in between 10:00 and 5:00 and was not able to get assistance. The guy that does the upholstery, Chuck, was never there and according to the clerk he was the only one who could look at something and give an estimate. The interior of the place is very shady as it is their home and also is the entryway for 3 apartments. On my last visit I spoke to the clerk, Teresa, and she was very short with me complaining about her broken toilet and tenants. It was almost as if she was on drugs. I simply wanted to know a time when Chuck would be in so that I could get an estimate for insurance purposes. She then proceeded to get upset with me and stated that I should go somewhere else. The most shocking part was that she gave me a reference to four different shops in Freeport. All in all this business was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. I would not recommend anybody to this shop and would highly question the overall quality of the work performed.

Mixed picture here. Clean laundromat. Not a given. When staff are there, they are helpful,…read moreproactive, attentive. Plenty of machines. Lots of front loaders. Three of the ginormous ones, several more a little smaller. Then many regular sized front loading and top loading machines. One problem starts here with the washing machines. The very large ones don't spin well enough. If the attendant is not there to push the machine along a little at the end, you have a very damp finished load -- that requires a fortune to dry. The large dryers were also problematic, finicky. On the top, the one next in from the left does not heat up properly. The controls for multiple machines created problems for all somewhere during their attempts to use them. The other larger dryers on the other side were much easier to use, had no issues that I could see. Laundromat has a bathroom, vending machine, a dispenser for laundry supplies, as well as a small play area for children. There are several tables to fold laundry, chairs and rolling carts with the rack to hang things from. These are all clean and in good shape. The washers/ dryers use a card system. You purchase a plastic card at a vending machine by the desk, then you load it up either with cash or from a credit card. System seems to work satisfactorily. Laundromat opens at 7:00 AM weekdays. That looks to also be the best time to get the large machines. Staff assistance is only available until 11:00 AM.
