I requested someone to come take a look at my dryer and Don's got back to me almost immediately and I was able to set up an appointment with a few quick texts. Very convenient! A few days later, Mike came to our house and took a look at our dryer. He was nice and obviously knowledgeable because a few minutes was all it took for him to diagnose the issue. He gave me my options, but ultimately agreed with me that it would probably be worth it to get a new unit rather than go through the big/costly fix it would take to get it back to health. My go to place for appliance parts and service advice. Really love it when a tech tells me how to fix something knowing he's screwing themselves out of a job/fee. Had issues with my washer not working. Don was 2 weeks booked. So Don said to check a connection, had his wife provide the part at no cost (a small connector, which I gave a few dollars for anyways). It was what it took to fix the issue. Dryer wasn't working and again Don and his wife came through. Again Don is booked for 2 weeks, I described the problem, he said what it needed to fix. His wife had to order the part, came in the next day. Very fair price on the part (I checked the on-line prices). Fair prices, great service, and great advice. read more

This should be a zero review. My dryer was not working, so I called Don's. They came out and replaced the belt, so the dryer turned. But now it makes noise. It did not dry the clothes. I called them again and they came out, but the dryer still did not dry the clothes and it made more noise after they left than when they left the first time. That was over $220.00 for both visits. Then I called Ted's. They came out but did not fix the problem, the dryer still made noise and did not dry the clothes. They sent me a bill for $75.00. I protested, so they cancelled the bill. Then two weeks later I got a bill for the same $75.00 they charged me for the first time. Finally after calling two different electricians, we finally got the dryer to dry clothes. But it still makes noise. That was over $500.00. I could have bought a new dryer and saved all the hassle. read more

My 15 year old washer broke down and was not worth the cost to repair it. I had Teds repair have a look. Dons appliance was recommended. I called and began my journey of the best customer service of my life, literally. I had broken my arm and couldn't drive to have a look at the washers for sale. They came out and charge me $75 for literally 3 minute conversation. I called originally because my stove had went out and it's one that is built into the cabinets. Was told they don't make any parts for the stove anymore. Which is fine I understand but when I ask what size do I need to replace it. I was told to unscrew the stove and pull it out myself for the measurements. For $75 I feel like he could of at least done that for me! read more

This is a used appliance store. My review is mostly for the service, as I was not shopping for a full appliance, only a replacement piece. They did not have a lot of appliances available but they had great prices. After stopping at several appliance stores, Dons was the only one that stocked parts for older stoves. The owner was super nice and helped me out. He spent the time look for a compatible piece and tested to make sure everything was working. He even attached the harness and made sure I knew how to hook it up. Anytime I need a replacement piece, I will be sure to come here! read more

Charged 16 bucks for a 3 dollar part off amazon and 75 bucks for 10 minutes of labor. I kid u not. Nuff said.
