This was a very small Swarovski store compared to some of the ones I've been in. They started their Black Friday sales the day before Thanksgiving. The staff is incredibly nice and the jewelry is beautiful however their inventory is off. I wanted to purchase a ring. Their system said my size was in stock. The sales person looked for almost 30 minutes with the help of her manager with no result. She stated sometimes their inventory is off. Very disappointing! It's the flagship! Came here after Christmas to purchase a graduation gift. I had been eyeing some Swarovski crystal earring at Macy's online and wanted to come to their store to see if they had a larger selection of items, as I am not a regular of this store or brand. I ended up purchasing a pair of earrings and a pen for my gift. The service and attention we received during our shopping experience was appreciated. However, I had a disappointment when it came time to gifting the item. The pen/stylus combo that I requested to purchase (which was on sale) was not in my bag when I got home. It was accidentally switched to just the plain pen (which was not on sale) that lacked the stylus feature. I should've caught the price difference when I was checking out. I ended up giving the recipient the pen and gorgeous earrings but was disappointed by the mixup. I provided a gift receipt along with the gift and advised that they could exchange it for the stylus/pen combo if they would like. Although it was a pleasurable shopping experience, the disappointment during the gift exchange overshadowed that. The store is full of adorable earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, pens, and crystal figurines. It's worth going in to check it out. However, make sure you have the sales associate show you the items you purchase before boxing up and checking out l. This will ensure you don't run into the mixup that I did. read more

Store Review: Sparkling crystals. This is a great store for buying gifts for weddings, birthdays, or anniversaries. Overall these pieces are classy and look expensive but typically cheaper than buying jewellery. The caveat is that all the crystals are high quality synthetic so intrinsically there is not great value like gold or diamonds. Also the quality of the metal work is so so. I bought a bracelet for my wife that started to change colors over 1 year. Staff is friendly and attentive. Great staff and much larger than California's Brea location I hate going to the mall, especially one that's new to me but it was mothers day weekend and I wanted to get my mother something from her now ex favorite store ( Long Story, Read Rachel T's review on the Brea location and you'll see why.) Anywho, I truly hate shopping. I rather online shop. But it was Mother's day weekend and I wanted to give my mom something, it's tradition. So at lunch I looked up the closest store and viola, this one was only a few blocks away. We pull up and man I was a bit intimidated by this mall. It felt like frakin Holiday season! But I pulled through LOL. I can't recall if this was on the 5th floor or 6th floor LOL Shit this place is 7 floors! As soon as I stepped off the escalator, I saw the store right there, I didn't even have to use the mall map, thank god! I walk in and immediately I'm greeted by everyone in the store. Not in an annoying but in a really warm welcoming way. I was comfortable right off the bat. This store, is NICE and much larger than the one's I've been to here in SoCal .I asked the male clerk, if they had a certain collection ( I forgot the name hehe.) It was a matching necklace and earring set. He liked the fact, that I already knew what the heck I wanted. That's how I shop baby! I look stuff up online, I come through and I GTFO :D The set was gorgeous and I couldn't leave without getting my baby sister something. I picked up a nice hot pink USB. She needed a new one badly. This was painless and probably one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had! If only the Brea store took a lesson from this store because Brea gave such a shitty experience to my mother and sister during their exchange and return of the items from this fabulous store, she won't patronize any Swarovski store. have a collection (24) of old Crystal Living figures purchased over 30 years with came with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE to repair. Today I brought in 3 pieces to be repaired to a store. I also have began collections for 3 granddaughters. Total purchased, over 40! The 3 pieces damaged are more than 20 years old. Some of the attachments just fell off. Clean. I was told $55 to repair EACH piece. I don't mind paying a service fee, but to pay for each piece separately? Now you would think I would be in their computer right? But, they had an upgrade and I disappeared. Vanished. Gone. So you ask, why didn't I save the original gray round boxes and receipts? About 15 years ago New England experienced record rain with week long power outages. Our home flooded and the boxes were ruined and thrown out. Also, what happened to my LIFETIME warranty? I realize policies change, but, these were purchased BEFORE the change. Years before. My point, it is not worth paying $125-250 each and then pay another $55 per piece when they fall apart over time, and believe me, after years they just drop attachments. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM FROM THEM AGAIN. read more

I came here for a Gossip Girl event and book signing by Eric Daman of his new book You Know You Want It. This was lots of fun. I got to shake hands with Eric (I am embarrassed to say I was little star struck). After the book signing there was a small Q&A with him and he took answers from the audience about the up-coming spring fashion and showed girls how to accessorize. I was one of the girls that he picked to come up and talk to him. This was so much fun. During the 2 hour event you got a gift with any purchase and while you shopped you were treated to delicious cupcakes and sweets. I also got to keep Swarovsky pencil for filling out a survey. Staff was very helpful. Especially Jonathan who made it easy for me to decide if I wanted something for everyday or more for going out. Love my new earrings and I have already been getting so many complements on them. The store itself was very small and once people packed in it was hard to move around. Also I saw that some people were given the option of coat check. Unfortunately no one asked me to take my coat away and I would have preferred to have walked around without my coat. read more

This store has a nice layout. Jewelries are displayed tastefully. It's a little bit small, but you can't ask for more for a store on the Magnificent Mile. The staff was helpful and efficient. Free gift wrapping was a plus. If you wanna buy some crystals, better to check'em out in the store. They may look differently from online images. I'm not a fan because I'm a dude. I have had the most terrible customer service experience with Swarovski. I purchased earrings Tuesday, and attempted to return them today. I was informed that a return is impossible without a sleeve with which I was never provided. It may have been misplaced by the cashier during the purchase, I do not know. What I do know is that I brought everything that came with my earrings - the earrings, an earring card, a small tag with a barcode, and a box - to the store, and was told no refunds without the original packaging. (The original packaging not being the packaging provided by the store, of course.) When I spoke with the corporate customer service line, I was told that they could look up my purchase by my credit card number, but would not do so. Given that these are earrings, which cannot be tried on in the store, and look awkward on my ears, Swarovski is at best incompetent and at worst perpetuating a scam. I encourage potential customers to exercise caution when considering a purchase from this company. read more

This is a review for Swarovski's "flagship" store at 540 North Michigan. Considering the location, this store is not very impressive. The interior looks dated, and cannot compare with the European stores. The store is very large; one of the largest in the United States, yet it still doesn't have much going for it. It is so dirty. Running your fingers on the shelves, you will find dust almost everywhere. The selection is pretty large, but be prepared to take the floor sample because they don't usually have a new item in the box to sell. The displays are so tacky. Products, yes I know the price is pretty low, are terrible quality. The product is copper plated so I have no idea how they can justify the price. Tiffany's is just a few blocks away, and their prices start at about $125.00 for a silver piece. Why pay the same amount for a copper plated piece with no resale value? It is a joke. Charming Charlie is just as tacky as Swarovski, but is so much cheaper is made with the comparable quality. Speaking of quality, the pieces are just glued in place so I have had pieces where the crystals have fallen out, and it takes 8 weeks to send out for repair. I once waited over 6 months for a piece to come back from the repair centre. The crystals are made in Austria, and the jewelry is made in Thailand. Customer service is pretty horrible; spotty at best. High pressure sales tactics are used. My favourite line that I ever heard, "You just want to buy that for your Mom?"whilst I was holding a $125.00 necklace that I intended to buy for Mother's Day. "Don't you love her?" I've shopped here every now and then and always left feeling pretty satisfied. well. not this time. about two days before Valentines Day, I stopped by and purchased a necklace and a ring. The store did not have my ring size. I asked the sales assistant if the ring could be ordered and shipped to my house. She said yes. She did not really explain how long the delivery would take, so I just assumed it would take a week or two at most. PAID for both ring and the necklace and I left the store. a month later. NOTHING. i called the store twice to make sure my order was placed. Spoke to John the manager. He assured me that the order is confirmed and that they had the ring in stock. AGAIN, I assumed I would receive it in the mail in a week or two. TWO weeks later the store confirmed they had my ring at the store. NOTHING. yesterday I called. spoke w John. I told him that I was really confused why I still have not received the ring yet. HAS IT EVEN BEEN SENT??? He remembered me and put me on hold. and without any introduction, the sales assistant came on line. cheerful as ever. "I'm sorry, I forgot to take your phone number down when I took your order so we couldn't send it to you because we are supposed to confirm with the customer to make sure it is okay" SERIOUSLY????? SERIOUSLY?????? that's the best excuse you can come up with? come on now. I called twice previously to check up on the order and make sure you had the correct address and info and now you tell me that you did not have my phone number????? you wanted to make sure its okay to send me the ring that I already paid for???? ok, so what if I waited longer, were you never going to send the ring???? anyways, i was speechless. I AM NOT GOING BACK TO THIS STORE. If I had known it would take this long, I would have purchased on line. I will not name the sales assistant's name because maybe she's new at this job and doesnt know better. regardless, she needs to learn when to be cheerful and when to tone down.
