A little over 10 days later, AC not blowing cold air. Called them out again, there is a leak, completely devoid of refrigerant, there is a "huge" hole in the pipe outside the unit going into the house. It is going to cost $500 do to a leak test, "May be worth looking at a new unit for house". I said "i just purchased this unit less than 7 years ago, and there is a warranty for 10 years", he Mr. Deehl, said, "well we can check it (warranty)but it may take a day or two for the warranty". I said " I have an 80 year old mother living in the house, we need to fix it. They fix it on a Friday ($2000) and the next Monday it is not working again. Service call "It is completely empty of refrigerant again". "WTH??? HOW?" The find a leak now in the coil, takes a week to wait on the part". Great! It is fixed, now less than 2 weeks later, (Saturday morning) SAME issue. We call the service on call, no answer. Finally on Sunday morning, they return call. TOO late we had to call someone else out and tomorrow it will be another $1300 just to replace a "filter/dryer" an re charge the system up. Very disappointed as they came recommended by my installer of the unit. From NOW on I will use ED Scott... reputable, responsive, and honest.

Did not perform any other tests on the system. When I explained my concerns about the mold, he said that we don't use the M word around here. That I needed to call a remediation specialist. Remediation specialist said I need to figure out why the system is creating so much moisture, which is why I called this company. He did nothing to determine that and refused to do any further checking of my system. Nice fellow, but not worth the money or my time.
