They have the best selection of Vermont brand clothing (Ibex and Darn Tough) in the state. I went to the Ibex store in Boston and was disappointed because Nomads had a better selection. The selection of clothing is always changing in the store. I pop in about once a month to see what is new and I'm always amazed at the selection. The owner picks out every item in the store and she only carries brands that she personally believes in. Everyone that works there is very personable and helpful! If you follow them on social media you will see that they have seasonal sales. This is great because it is impossible to get Darn Tough socks on sale (unless you shop at Nomads)! Nomads: A great example of good selection, awful service…read more Nomads in Old Port carries a low quantity of better-quality goods for your outdoor adventuring needs. I have no issues with the selection of products, I like most of the brands they sell. My issue is that I went into Nomads thinking I could pick some gear up for my upcoming hike of the AT, and not get verbally accosted for looking at the wallet selection while my brother and cousins looked at the other products sold in the store. I overheard the two girls behind the register sarcastically say that I was looking at the wallets like I wasn't even able to purchase one of them. This was not their only failing in customer service. They failed to greet us or interact with our group at all, yet they greeted and conversed with a young lady who walked in with her boyfriend (while refusing to talk to the man I presume was her boyfriend). For this reason, I will not be returning and have left this one-star review.
