Daniel was amazing to deal with from the start. We're in the process of selling our home and needed something fixed on the fireplace. I sent him pictures. He said it appeared like an easy fix when he got here unfortunately it was worse than we thought and the fireplace needed to be replaced. He presented several options. I know it would've cost at least $5000 more with any other vendor. His communication was accurate, he showed up on time, removed the old fireplace in such a gentle and clean manner, took the mantle down piece by piece only cut the drywall that was necessary. I anticipated someone showing up with a sledgehammer and dust for days, not the case. We have a beautiful new fireplace, I would recommend this guy over and over again. He's one of the best. I worked with Sweep's Luck for about 3 months looking for a wood insert that 1: fit my space, 2: qualified for the government rebate. When the time came, the install was flawless, he was clean and efficient. Really nice person, family man with good integrity. He could have charged me for another flue cover but instead he repaired it and said we will take care of it once it is beyond repair. Small things like that build trust. Daniel came out to my house to do a chimney sweet and clean the dryer vent out. Upon inspecting the chimney, he informed me that it didn't need to be cleaned and we could skip it and not pay for it...wow! He give us an on-the-spot quote to clean up our gas fireplace log inserts and it made a huge difference with the asthetic of the fireplace. He cleaned out our dryer vent as well and that made a big difference on drying time (faster!). Big thing was the Daniel identified a very small gas leak in our fireplace that we had not noticed. He had a plumber that he recommended that was able to come out and replace the valve for us quickly. I found Daniel through yelp and found him to be the most knowledgeable of all the others that I talked with about my 65 years old smokey fireplace. It was impossible to have a fire without filling the room with smoke. I tried for 30 years and finally decided to let an expert look at it. After seeing pictures of our unlined fireplace he recommended a fireplace ininsert with a stainless steel liner. He also recommended Regency inserts. It took a while to get an appointment with Daniel, but it was worth it. My fireplace was just fine, but it had an old starter assembly that wasn't even necessary. Daniel assessed the situation over the phone, and he arrived with a full workshop in his van. He tuned up my fireplace ... checked out everything, and removed the starter assembly. He was able to explain all aspects of what he did, and was a great pleasure to talk with. I learned a lot. His pricing is honest and much less than firms I didn't exactly trust.
