Ambiance is busy but in a good way. Service is quite friendly, and food, well let's just say I eat and leave NO CRUMBS!! Both the savory and sweet menu is yummy in my tummy. It sure is a sweet as place. Hahaha. Would recommend.

Staff was awesome! We came late near the end of the day and they were still happy to serve us. The waffle dishes were all amazing looking. And... who wouldn't love a dinosaur to hold your waffle sandwich together? The cold brew coffee was tasty as well! We will be back!

OMG this place!!! So perfect for my savory self and my sweets loving boyfriend! It was so yummy and I absolutely loved the calleggfornia sandwich. The aioli was flavorful and settles into the waffle perfectly. Staff was super sweet and the decor was adorable!

All good things to say about this place. Great ambiance and pretty artistic and cool place. Don't think there's a cooler way to enjoy waffles. They have both Savory and sweet waffles. I could have tried Savory ones but the only option they had was either with ham or beef - nothing I could eat. The sweet waffles also had some great offerings. We tried black berry one but I was certainly tempted with the Matcha based toppings. Another great aspect about this place is that they can make waffles glutten free and also vegan. You just need to ask. There is no taste different. Bottom-line - super welcoming people, LGBTQ friendly with amazing vibes. PS: Their restroom is pretty tipsy.

The food is very tasty! Cute little spot. The price was a bit steep in my opinion. Got the "mondo" Canadian quesadilla and shared it. It just didn't feel like I got my monies worth. Would I go back? Probably lol

Cute cafe atmosphere with a friendly welcome at the counter that makes you want to love it. Fun flavor combinations that are interesting enough for adults and sweet enough for kids. We got right in. Food came fast. And the items were all cooked and prepared well. Everyone left talking about what they wanted to try next time!!! Apparently we are going to be repeat customers!!

Delicious little waffle restaurant. Very cute and funky inside! I really enjoyed my waffle breakfast sandwich, which I veganized for a $3 charge. My husband's blackberry waffle was also really good. Loved that each waffle comes with a dinosaur.... that's a really fun touch. Also- lovely and friendly staff! Will be back to try more waffles!

My 12yo (who hates most foods) and I went here on a whim today. This is a cute place with nice employees, a fairly simple but straightforward menu. The food came out quickly and was delicious, and included a mini dinosaur to be recycled later (see photos). My kid had what was basically a ham and Gouda waffle sandwich - I was dubious due to the inclusion of some aioli, but she ate the entire thing! Also really dug the Subpar Parks posters all over the walls. I would gladly eat here again!

Pure Bliss has a WIDE selection of gluten free, and a vegan section. Yes, there is also an overlap with some items that are both. I was super impressed with how vast the selections for both were. It is CUTE in here! Feels like a modern Parisian bakery. There were plenty of people sitting and enjoying their desserts with a glass of bubbly. It felt like I stepped into a whole new world. The women working were DOLLS! So sweet. I could tell they had the ordering counter down to a science and were super efficient while still being friendly and spending time with each customer. The gluten free carrot cake was decadent and flavorful. The creme brule was lovely. The caramel bar (not gluten free) was reported to be quite good as well. I can't wait to come back!

Oh man was it amazing, got the cardamom coffee to go with a piece of Helva for my little and the Chocolate baklava for me and hubs to split! The server was so nice and made sure to inform me the right way to just sip the coffee as it's not like regular drinking coffee- he asked I preferred sweet coffee and I said yes so he added a little sugar and it was just beautiful! My little demolished the Helva and hubs and I enjoyed our chocolate baklava at the end of a very fun but busy day! The shop it's self is small but beautiful as were the other customers enjoying their coffee made room for my little at the counter to look at all the treats in the case! Can't wait to head back and try some of the other yummy treats they have to offer!

How I heard of this place: On a visit to Bellingham a couple of years ago, my sister and mother…read moretold us about this new Turkish cafe downtown with sweet reminiscences of our visits to Turkey. We simply had to give it a try. And continue coming back. Type of cuisine: Turkish fare - from simit and borek, to cardamom or pistachio infused Turkish coffee, apricot and apple teas, baklava and lokum. We have always loved the foods, mostly imported directly from Turkey. Ambiance: Sweet and cozy, the space is full of beautiful Turkish art/craft - from lighting to seating, from merchandise to the tasty treats served, we love our bay window benches and small, tiled tables that barely hold everything we order. The brother-owners are always wreathed in smiles and humble, grateful service. The music is soft, but always a surprise - sometimes Turkish, sometimes rock, sometimes jazzy, always fun and unobtrusive. We also love the huge barrel "tables" used as outdoor seating under a covered "patio". What I ordered: I was sad to hear that they no longer make/serve their refreshing and lovely apricot tea, so I chose a sweet cardamom coffee. My sister each chose a turkish coffee and pistachio coffee. A hot chocolate for my husband and two apple teas for the children. We ordered one of each selection of baklava available - pistachio, walnut, chocolate pistachio, halva and another walnut treat. Not to mention peach and blackberry lokum. We also ordered a potato & cheese sandwich; they ran out of the bread so substituted potato borek topped with cheese for our savory snack. What I loved: Always the service; quiet, humble, spot on. The coffee is truly magnificent and fully takes you back to Turkey. The baklava is sweet and soaked in honey, just like the cafes in Istanbul, and the beautiful lighting mesmerizes each of us every time. Why I loved it: It's always a little escape entering the doors of Ashuri, and like a mini vacation in a home away from home. Cost: Average
