Talent, 300 & something miles to Portland, 400 & something miles to San Francisco. Clever!

This café, set in a beautifully reclaimed vintage train station just off the highway in Talent, is a charming stop. The shaded patio by a garden and train tracks makes for a lovely setting, and we appreciated the woman-run, team-driven approach. Unfortunately, the food we had here didn't quite hit the mark for us. The breakfast sandwich was overly buttered with the eggs runny and undercooked, despite our requesting them a medium doneness. The huevos rancheros had a mix of flavors (pico de gallo, tomatillo and a sour dairy sauce) that didn't quite come together. We'd come back for the atmosphere and try other menu items next time--we really wanted to love this place.

Missed this cute restaurant a couple of times as the sign was not as visible. They had a small menu. You order and pay first and then find you table. The dining room was under construction so we sat in the lovely shaded outdoor area. I was impressed that they had real Mrs. Meyers handsoap in the bathroom and not just the container. My boyfriend ordered the Signature Breakfast burrito and I ordered Huevos Rancheros. The burrito was on the smaller side but my boyfriend said it was packed with flavor. My Huevos Rancheros was also on the smaller side but it was pretty damn delicious. The chumichurri was so fresh and a little tangy. My found went so perfectly with my bubbly Mimosa With a Twist with pomegranate. What a wonderful brunch spot!

I came here on a chilly Monday morning and was warmed up by the friendly staff, delicious food, and of course great coffee! I ordered the two breakfast sandwiches ($14) which came with a small dish of fruit and a side salad which was much more than I thought it would come with! Both the food and coffee came very quick after ordering which was a a delight! The energy for sweet beet station leans a little more towards sit down breakfast then a coffee shop to hang out in however it was still very cozy.

This restaurant was a very gratifying experience. All of the items on their menu were earthy, hearty, beautiful and amazing. I chose the Polenta breakfast. Italian herbed polenta topped with toasted bells and onions. House made pesto with 2 free range eggs and Parmesan on fresh spinach. So comforting and satisfying. I love their location just north of Ashland, Oregon. An adorable place with outside seating and very busy. Love, love, love!!

Sweet Beet is the best!! Located in downtown talent, it is a great place to get away from Ashland tourist crowds and have a delicious breakfast or lunch. Sweet Beet is pretty casual where you order at the front then they bring you your food by number on your table. Their breakfast is amazing! The breakfast sando is a standout. It is a huge win that they also know serve their breakfast menu all day. Although, I mostly come to Sweet Beet for lunch. They are one of the best lunch places in the valley. They have a ton of fantastic sandwiches and salads. In comparison to other brunch places in the valley, I would say Sweet Beet's menu is on the healthier side. Definitely would recommend a visit!

Cute place south of Ashland with really tasty food and fun mimosa juice add ins! I got a mango mimosa and after a long road trip was very happy about the unlimited amount of coffee you can self poor. As for the Fancy French Toast, it was packed full of flavor and came with a delicious brown butter that had nuts in it and I wish they put that stuff in a jar because it was amaaaaaazing. The sauces balanced each other perfectly, creamy and tart berries. So many different flavors happening and it was like a symphony in my mouth. This cafe is in an old train station that no longer is in operation so it provides a different aesthetic but a unique and spacious setting it is. The staff was patient with all my questions and the kitchen is an open concept kitchen and I give everyone there props because it's a small space they were cooking in and everyone was moving around harmoniously. Thanks for the great time and unforgettable meal!

Breakfast/Brunch ALL DAY ,7 days a weeks (OPEN until 3pm). They have a Beer, Wine, constantly changing specialty Cocktails and Mimosa menu. Ordered the Class Breakfast Sandwich (veggie sandwich comes with fruit and a green salad with their house made vinegarette $14 The vegetarian breakfast sandwich was on grilled sourdough bread. I had 2 eggs (perfectly cooked "over medium"), cheese and a thick slice of vine ripe tomato. The fruit was in a small dipping sauce container but it was a delicious combination of red grapes and fresh cut pineapple. The mixed green salad was light and tasty with a refreshing and not at all overpowering vinegarette. I'm a big fan of the indoor dining room on cold weather days. I will come here again with friends for brunch. The cocktails look a little pricey for the ingredients, but are available *thumbs up* There's a $5 off when you spend $30+ coupon in this months "Sneak Preview" magazine (must physically present coupon).

Yum food! Yum beverage! Friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere. I got a sandwich that was nomnom and a chai latte that was yumyum. Clean bathrooms. If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

I loved this spot so much. Easy counter service and most of the seating is outside but well shaded and right next to the train tracks. We were able to see a train go by and it really added to the ambiance. It didn't feel distuptive just very sweet. Now for the food.. LOVE all three of the salsa options. My breakfast tacos came with a verde salsa and a crema salsa that were delicious. None that were spicy but the flavors came through beautifully. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and was extremely satisfied with it. The breakfast menu is primarily vegetarian options which was the only area we felt could have been a better fit for us since we are meat eaters but after the meal we didn't have any complaints about the lack of meat in either dish. Very happy and will come again.

The bacon comes crisp, the pancakes fluffy, the omelettes delicate, and the hash browns seared beautifully. Beyond that, they push their menu to incorporate delicious, more elevated ingredients. The smoked bacon omelette is a banger. If you like the carmelized flavor of French onion soup, you'll love this! So rich and deep with umami flavor, melding with diced bacon and fontina cheese. The Belgian waffle is also intense with bits of walnut and bacon baked in, which collides beautifully with hot maple syrup. So delicious! Lastly, I like to champion breakfast spots that have the courage to deliver expertly done hash browns. Breadboard doesn't even try, with the usual "home fries" cop-out (that nobody loves but will tolerate). Brothers serves hash browns, but they're usually soggy and falling apart. Not the case here. You get a nice, flat, crisp, rigid slab of hashbrowns, ready to accompany your main. Overall this is my number one spot for an Ashland breakfast. Definitely worth the small drive from downtown.

It is a small, intimate space where we were greeted with a big smile by the hostess and our waiter came by soon after we were seated. It was a chilly walk around the corner so I was looking for a hot coffee to warm me up. Having never been here before I opted for the special of the day, which was something with lavender in it, and I was surprised at the delicate way the latte both supported the robust coffee flavor and the delicate lavender addition. It was better than I anticipated and I knew that we had stumbled upon a gem of a spot that emphasized quality of what they serve. Now, for breakfast, I love a good gravy but I am always disappointed by my order. The country gravy is usually too thin, to bland, too chunky with some sort of meat product, and too small of quantity to really enjoy a good biscuit with it. With this skepticism in mind, I ordered the "The Works" assuming at the very least, the addition of fried eggs and ham were good enough to eat on its own when the gravy, which I also assume will disappoint me, runs dry. I apologize for my assumptions, ButterCloud Bakery, because I was served a thick, seasoned, peppery gravy and plenty of it. This is actually the best gravy I have ever ordered from a restaurant, if I was not traveling, I might have bought a few sides of this delicious concoction and brought it home for the next several mornings! Nothing skimpy on my plate. My husband ordered the beef and blue and devoured every last bite. I managed to steal a few bites off his plate and was pleasantly surprised, I did not expect to like it as much as I did. I stole a few more bites when he was in the bathroom! We left very satisfied with our meal, our drinks, and our service. Fast forward a few months later and we are traveling with my parents to California and we insisted that we stopped by ButterCloud Bakery to share our gem of a find. My mom considers herself quite the cook and she also was skeptical of the gravy. One bite and her eyes popped...she was also impressed. This time round I had the scone and gravy and enjoyed every last bite. My mom tried a specialty hot chocolate and I, again, had the latte special of the day, both were rich with flavor. Our second round at ButterCloud Bakery did not disappoint and we have decided it will be our go-to spot when we are in the area, there is still a lot of menu items to try!
