Confused about all these negative reviews. Maybe there was a little span of time during the pandemic where the shop was not functioning at its best, but now, it's great. The store itself is SO cute and aesthetic on the inside. You barely have to interact with the workers to make your froyo happen. You get to choose which size cup (choose wisely because you pay based on weight) to fill up. They have a bunch of froyo flavors, my favorite being cake batter. Put as much as you want in and move over to the topping dispensers. I'm a big fan of the chocolate rocks, non pareils, and m&ms. My only qualm here is that sometimes you dispense the candy and just get powder, but you can get around this by turning it until the candy comes out properly. Next, go to the self topping bar, where I recommend cookie dough, any fruit, chocolate chips, etc. (Avoid gummies, they get really really hard). Top with hot fudge and whipped cream (no need to go light on that one since it weighs almost nothing!), and then pop it on the scale to get weighed. I used a small cup, packed it with froyo, toppings, and whipped cream, it came out to 6.8oz, and it was just over $5. I really don't think that's a bad deal at all!! I'm a big fan of sweet ceces, and the fact that this one is in downtown Franklin (great place to walk around) is awesome.

Serves a variety of soft serve ice cream and sorbets. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Candy shop ambiance. Highly recommend for a refreshing respite from the heat.

Franklin is the type of deliberately old-fashioned town where you wonder whether you're in Mayberry, Stepford, or Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland. And what would a hamlet like this be without an old-timey ice cream parlor? A place where you can take your longtime girlfriend and start hemming and hawing over whether you plan to give her the discount engagement ring hidden in the whipped cream of her strawberry sundae. Well, Jamie W. and I were not preparing for a monumental decision like that. We were just two men in need of something sweet after the hot chicken we had at Bolton's Spicy Chicken & Fish in East Nashville. As we entered Sweet CeCe's, the staff couldn't help themselves but cheerily greet us like relatives coming to Sunday supper after church. They offer ice cream, of course, but we were drawn to the froyo spigots (photo: http://bit.ly/2IpvmKG). Now this was clearly not a wacko West Coast operation with bizarre flavors like rosemary pomegranate or celery root mocha. Nope, it was chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry with cupcake batter the furthest stretch on the flavor spectrum. We both went with strawberry since there was no sugar added. There were three choices in regard to the vehicle for the froyo. You can grab a waffle cone and go to town for a flat $3.99 or a large container called the Sweetest Cup and pay as you weigh. We went for the smaller Sweet Cup for the flat $3.99. Jamie went naked with his (photo: http://bit.ly/2yEz2Zp), but I had them put blueberries and strawberries on top for the full fruital effect (photo: http://bit.ly/2yEv7vC). Just hit the spot on an early summer evening. Yep, it was Mayberry, and we're waiting for Andy and Barney to stop by. FROYO - 4 stars...refreshing, creamy and not overly sweet AMBIANCE - 4 stars...small town state-of-the-art SERVICE - 4 stars...hey y'all! TOTAL - 4 stars...Franklin froyo waitin' for y'all

I was really surprised at how underwhelming Sweet CeCe's was. The ice cream flavors were very basic and many of the frozen yogurt options were out of service when we stopped in. The restaurant was also very untidy, which was pretty surprising since we were the only customers.

That's a scoop- I ate the second scoop prior to taking picture-maybe a tablespoon....unbelievable rip off.

Although the one in Franklin is 50,000x better than the one in Mount Juliet, I'd still prefer PinkBerry.

The shop is cutesy with pink walls and a little social media worthy photo op on one of the walls. Lines are hit or miss. I either walk by and nobody is there or it's a long line. I can't say service at this location has ever been noteworthy. It's more just moving people through the line. They offer mini and regular sized donuts. I love, love, love that they offer mini donuts. I've never been a big fan of their donuts, but the winter donuts may have changed my mind. My favorites have been Sugar Cookie and Gingerbread Latte. I enjoyed the buttery, flaky layers. I also grabbed an iced sugar cookie and that was delicious. For drinks they offer coffees and a case with sparkling waters, juice, and canned coffee. Five Daughters is worth a try if you find yourself near a location.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a smile by Sam. There was a display case full of yummy cookies of different varieties -- chocolate chip, stuffed chocolate chip (brownie inside), salted peanut butter cup, s'mores, brownie, sprinkles, oatmeal raisin, and vegan chocolate chip. They offer full-size cookies in singles, six pack, or a dozen or mini cookies in a cup, small box or big box. Whitney's also sells a small selection of drinks -- milk, sparkling water, chilled coffee, or regular water. We ordered a chocolate chip and a salted peanut butter. At $5 a cookie, this isn't an everyday indulgence, but the cookies were large enough to share. And they were really delicious, especially when they were heated up and the chocolate chips melted.
