This restaurant is located in a food hall. It's the first business on the right side when you walk through the door. It's really confusing because they sell Korean style hot dogs, yet the receipt for your purchase says "Sweet Churros". LOL Maybe they started out selling churros, and then expanded to Korean hot dogs. Ordering here is a bit confusing. You order on the left side. It looks like there's a churro shop to the right, and then you pick up your hot dog further to the right. At first, I thought these were 2 different shops. This food hall is very busy, and it feels crowded standing by the front door waiting for your order as people are always entering or exiting the building. There's some seating further in the back (shared by all businesses). What's not so obvious is that there's more seating when you take the stairs to the 2nd floor. When you reach the 2nd floor, you will find a small press-on nail stand and then the seating further to the left. There's a sign indicating restrooms on teh 3rd floor, with an arrow pointing at the stairs that go up. Once you reach the 3rd level, hang a left for the restrooms or go forward for even more seating. There's also a chicken stand hidden at the end to the left. I don't know how they stay in business; you just have to know they are there because I didn't see a sign on ground level that indicated more businesses upstairs. The hot dog I got had hot dog & mozzarella inside, and it's covered on the outside with potato. It feels like something you'd find at Carnival Eats. It tasted exactly as you would expect, not a healthy indulgence at all. I thought that the ratio of hot dog to everything else in it was quite low... like where's the rest of the hot dog? Anyhow, I can say I've tried this. I don't really need to go out of my way to get another one. However, I may have to go back and try their churros. This neighborhood is quite lively all day and night. Do not expect to find street parking in the area. read more

So good. So addicting. It's not too sweet, and the ice cream goes so great with the soft and warm churro. I loved the crunch and the soft serve. They had 4 flavors: taro, matcha, black sesame, and vanilla. We went with the taro and the churro, and we destroyed it! Are you paying sports game prices for this churro? Yes. Did it hit the spot? Also yes. You can have it both ways, y'all. I got the toasted coconut churro, and I loved the topping. Stopped by the food court in Ktown and picked up a chocolate coated churro with almonds. I'm not familiar with many churro places around, so this caught my eye, but I wasn't a huge fan. The store is located on the ground level, in the corner of the food court facing the street. You can see the employees working on the churros/ice cream. Ordering is not too bad, and there is a display case that shows what some different churros might look like. I had to wait a few minutes, but the churro came out fresh and hot. There is always a new K-Hotdog spot popping up around town, but I have yet to try one crusted with Cheetos. However, I didn't think the Cheetos Crust contributed much to the overall flavor profile. Size wise, it looks like it is slightly smaller than other competitor K-Hotdogs in town. I could be wrong, but I think this is a Mexican chain...and I found it odd that it was situated right amongst all the Korean eateries and restaurant in the heart of Koreatown. Still, it came handy when we noticed all the hot spots were ridden with long lines. So we stopped in here super-late to grab a drink before heading back to the hotel. Instead of doing just that, they silently proceeded to make the Matcha Green Tea from scratch (guess they had it after all??). I found their response to my request (for a money back???) very off-putting. Still, I ended up with my ordered items. The Matcha Green Milk Tea was Okay, and the Churro was good, but too thick and heavy...not my thing. After 2-3 bites, I handed it over to my husband, who's more into thicker desserts. Based on the drink, I'd probably rate it a 2...given that Milk Teas may not be their specialty. For their Churro, I'd rate a 3...because although tasty, it was just too thick and glutinous to me. My wife and I needed a sweet ending to our day of NYC adventures and Sweet Churros was nearby and highly rated by Yelp. We are glad we stopped here. It is located in a sorta mini food court in Koreatown but it is easy to find as they have the spot at the front with a window to the street. I was in the mood for ice cream so I got a vanilla soft serve in a waffle cone and my wife got one of their famous churros. She ordered the Crunch Churro with Almond and Chocolate. The soft serve is from Bluemarbles in Brooklyn. We watched one of the staff extrude the churro dough from a machine and fry it in the oil while we waited. There was a steady stream of people coming by to this place but the two workers behind the counter handled it well. We each loved our items as they were both delicious. They only make the churros a few at a time so it may take a bit longer but you know they are fresh and you can watch them make your creation.
