Sweet Delight Jamaican Cuisine 4500 Dixie Hwy. NE Palm Bay, FL 32905 4 Stars Life, in general, is fleeting moments of time with people you may only interact with once, but when you do, a big grin immediately breaks across your face. This I how I felt when I met Neville, the owner of today's foray into the dense jungle of Greasy Spoons dotting the landscape of the Space Coast. My random name generator had directed me deep into the mainland as I found myself in front of Sweet Delight Jamaican Cuisine in Palm Bay. I took a few deep breaths to control my OTB syndrome and went inside. This is when I encountered the jovial Neville. Not only was I enjoying his company, but I truly enjoy well-made Jamaican food. Epicurean delights from the tiny island nation have a delightful mix of sweet, tangy and spicy all wrapped up in one bite. Looking over the handwritten menu board didn't take a whole lot of time. Most of it was spent chatting with Neville. However, I did manage to get in an order for some Curry Chicken, Curry Goat, Oxtail Rice & Peas and to round things out I decided to give Neville's Spicy Beef Patty a whirl. Picking up on Neville's dimissory vibe, my dining, I headed to a table to await our victuals. Within an acceptable amount of time, Neville brought our food up. After snapping the obligatory pictures, we grabbed our grub, received our dimissory from the owner and headed back beach side. Not wanting to take my time getting home as the olfactory property emanating from the take-out containers was causing me to drool just a little bit, I might have gone a tad over the posted speed limit. I'm not saying I did, but I'm not saying I didn't. What happened next shocked me. It still does. My persnickety 15-year-old, who eats like a bird as the old adage goes, scarfed down the Curry Chicken like she hadn't eaten in a week. She doesn't eat a lot, but trust me, I do feed her! As I had due diligence to try a bite for the critique, I asked her for one but by then it was gone. Well, that put a dent in my buzz. Objectively speaking, it must have been otherworldly in flavor. I had no idea she loved Curry Chicken like this. I found the Curry Goat to be exceptional. The Goat was tasty, tender and cooked to perfect doneness, while the curry was flavorful and spicy. This was truly well-done Jamaican food. The Oxtail Rice and peas were next up on the Big Boy's discerning palate. Again, the meat was a carnivore's dream. However, and this is the reason for the 4 and not a 5-star review, the rice and peas were just this side of overcooked. Maybe it was kept at serving temperature too long, or someone got distracted in the kitchen for a second. Regardless, the damage was done. Moving on to the final item in today's meal, the Spicy Beef Patty. This was cooked to perfection and all I can say about the seasoning is, "WOW"! This was excellent, with just enough punch to make sure you're paying attention and well hydrated, yet the underlying complexity of the Jamaican spices was not overshadowed. The Big Boy says, "If you like new foods and are willing to give them a try, this is the place to start."

Very impressed by this local breakfast spot in Melbourne with prices that can't be beat! We met up…read morewith an old friend to catch up while we were in the area, and he recommended this place. They have the hot griddles built into the tables so that you can make your own pancakes which is what they're known for. We didn't have to wait for a table and the service was pretty quick. I started with a blood orange mimosa (only $6.95) and it was a very generous size. For my entree, I got the 2-pancake stack breakfast combo. I opted for the lemon poppyseed pancakes (which the kitchen cooks), cheesy eggs, and bacon. My husband got the southern breakfast, and our friend got one of their scramble skillets. Everything was amazing!

I joke of course, hipster is the theme, but of course they welcome everyone. And everyone should come. Staff is great. The place is clean and we loved the decor. Mostly, we loved our dishes. I had the shaved ribeye. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Loved the roll and Cole slaw. Now if they had some creamy horseradish for it, homerun. All in all, an excellent Sammy. My wife had the pulled pork Bennie. I am not a fan of pulled pork, but I must admit my fork wandered over to the plate a few times. She loved the dish as well. It was so big, we took half home. And there is where I may have finished it without permission. LOL. I really wish Yelp had the half star option. 4 1/2 is more appropriate. Go here. You won't be disappointed.

This is one of my most favorite places for breakfast/brunch when I need a break from Disney…read more I LOVE (and I cannot stress this enough) LOVE the seasonal menus and how there's always something new to try. Literally everything I've had at Keke's has been amazing. The French Toast is usually my go-to as they have perfected it. The pancakes and waffles are also top tier. I would consider myself picky about bacon, as some places miss the mark, but Keke's always gets it right. I would definitely recommend getting your name on the list, especially on weekends, as this is a popular place (rightfully so). Service is always wonderful and atmosphere feels like a diner in your home town. Comparable to First Watch, but I think Keke's takes the cake. I love Keke's and will keep coming back!

We are from the PNW, so we tend to be a bit coffee snobby. He also mentioned the waffle was perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and topped with very fresh fruit. I ordered the Keke's Special combo with two pieces of French toast, bacon, cheesy grits, and a Peach Bellini. Everything was absolutely delicious. The cheesy grits were by far the best I have had in several years. Our waitress Noelle was wonderful and kind! She did a great job. Great food, great coffee, and a fantastic start to the day. We would definitely come back. Sorry I forgot to get pictures, it was just too delicious to wait.

Everyone seemed attentive, helpful, and focused on making sure guests were taken care of. I had the biscuits and gravy, and it was delicious. It was so good I had to order an extra biscuit. My friend had a classic eggs, bacon, toast, and fruit breakfast, and it looked great as well. One thing that really stood out was the attention to detail. The staff made sure our coffee cups never fell below the halfway mark, which is always appreciated at breakfast. The location is excellent, right across from the beach in Indialantic. Parking was a little tight, but we managed. Great food, friendly service, and a really nice beachside breakfast spot. Solid five stars.

This really small place serves delicious perfectly cooked food at a very reasonable price ($32 out the door with 2 meals, coffee, tax and 25% tip). Our waitress Quinn was slammed but she provided excellent service. You can tell she has a lot of experience making sure her customers have a good experience by asking things like "the home fries have onions is that okay?" We expected very slow service but truly we were sat and had our breakfasts in about 15 minutes. Which I think is pretty good. Took a little longer to pay our bill but 100% worth the wait. We would definitely come back when in the area. My Daugher says "Quinn you did amazing!!! You were soooo good at serving. The pancakes were delicious!"

With such a prime location right on the beach, it feels like it could be an incredible restaurant and a serious revenue generator, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem like much has been invested into the property. I was surprised to hear that it supposedly has the same owners as Dijon's Restaurant up the street, which has a much more polished and upscale feel. The difference between the two is pretty dramatic. During our visit, a lot of the staff seemed to be standing around waiting for customers, and the whole place just felt like it was missing some energy. The outdoor dining area is dated and not particularly inviting. The windows and exterior show plenty of wear from the beach weather--which is understandable in this location--but the overall space still needs some attention. If you do eat here, I'd recommend staying downstairs. Upstairs had more of a pool hall/dude-hangout vibe and definitely wasn't where I'd choose for a romantic weekend dinner with my wife. This feels more like a beach-day, grab-some-grub kind of place that happens to occupy the building of a much larger restaurant. There's a ton of potential here, but right now, they're really missing the ball on what this location could be. Probably would not return unless the place gets a significant refresh.

Got to the restaurant and the elevator was not working so we had to sit downstairs where it is stuffier and less of a view. The menu for breakfast had changed and was meager!!! I had the avocado toast. Nothing special. My husband had the pancakes. They were fluffy. The server was gracious, the hostess could really careless as she continued to lean on the podium. Asked about the menu online and was told "yeah, it changed awhile a go, but the owners haven't updated the website." We will now be looking for a new family tradition.
