This place is great!! My one complaint is that it is almost too popular and finding a quiet area or even a seat can be tricky. But the staff is always super friendly, the drinks are great, and the food is also very good (the donuts and the chicken salad sandwich are especially delicious). I have been coming to Sweet's for years to socialize, study, and definitely to eat and drink. This place is awesome! It can get a little crowded during finals, but other than that, I've never had a problem with seating. You'd expect the staff to be rude because it's mostly run by college students who will eventually leave, but they're all actually really nice- even if you complain about something (which there's rarely anything to complain about). I love a plain black coffee from here, but if I'm feeling fancy I'll get an iced mocha or a hot chocolate. Their hot white chocolate mocha is also really popular. They have crepes, sandwiches, muffins, donuts. I like it all- but the garden crepe and vegetarian panini are my go tos. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in town. The coffee is roasted in house as well as the baked goods. Their cinnamon rolls are some of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is eclectic, but welcoming. I try to go here as often as I'm in town. My one complaint is that their to-go cups suck! Coffee leaks out of the seam in the cup and spills when you drink. read more

I've been here many times and generally liked what I had. My latest visit was disappointing. My cappuccino had a burnt taste. I ordered a crepe (their specialty) which took awhile. When I went up to check on my order my crepe was ready and sitting on a plate but the employee was making coffees so he said he'd bring it to me. I wish I was able to give this place 0 stars. My husband and I stopped in for a quick snack while we were running errands. He ordered 2 crepes and a kolache. After waiting 1 hour, being very frustrated, and nearly just leaving without them they finally came out. After waiting an hour for anything you would expect it to be good or at least decent. Whatever it was that was served was no crepe. One "crepe" was supposed to have turkey and the type of meat like substance inside was horrible, like the questionable meat in a lunchable. The flavor of the filling and the actual crepe was inedible. The second one was no better. Rubbery eggs with canned jalapeños. After 2 bites of each the whole crepe was thrown away. Please save your money and go elsewhere. Whatever ingredients are used for these crepes and the whole process needs to be re thought. They are described great on the menu and have good potential. Maybe the staff just needs to be better trained . Regardless ... spend your money elsewhere... sadly this whole experience had a domino effect on our whole day! read more

I usually get a iced chai latte and maybe a donut. Though the item is pretty good, I have found it to be more and more inconsistent as I go there more often. According to one of the workers there, they just use a powder mix in the water. I don't think they have a proper measurement standard, for my drink is sometimes very thick in the powder and very thin other times. I have tried the iced snicker's latte which is not bad, and seems to be a very popular item on their menu. The drinks may not be the worth the price if you go there on a regular basis but the donuts are very inexpensive and they carry a variety of them. They don't taste bad either, though I think I would still prefer Shipley's instead. One good thing is that they do stay open 24 hours during finals, in case you're looking for a place for a quick coffee run during your all-nighters. read more

I recently moved to College Station and asked my friends what their favorite coffee shop was. I ended up going for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I've gone there quite a few times since. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, cool lighting fixtures, plenty of seating, and art is everywhere. The employees are very nice and and interesting to talk to. I have yet to order any sort of food there, but I have nothing but good things to say about the coffee. I love Sweet Eugene's and will continue going there for the rest of my time in C Stat! read more

This is a pretty good place for coffee. The staff is friendly, lots of indoor seating and a little deck that's shaded with tables outside. They also have a little drive thru, though I've never used it. The coffees here are pretty good, I'm a true coffee snob though. I've heard others say it's their favorite place. The drinks can seem too sweet at times and there's something a bit too sweet about their Italian sodas. All that being said, I'll choose Sweet Eugene's over Starbucks any day! The coffee is never bitter and there's never been a big delay in getting my drink nor has it ever been incorrect and they will make whatever strange mixture my little one requests as well. read more

Sweet Eugenes is the largest of the coffee houses currently in College Station. It has several cozy rooms people can sit in and study. The music that plays over the speakers is ecclectic and geared for the younger crowd of college students that requent the place. The lights are dim and set off a comfortable atmosphere. I sometimes see people snoozing on one of the couches in the back. I recommend the place if you just need to get out of your appartment into a beautiful, comfortable setting.
