It's pretty good. I am a novice to Thai food. The menu is big and not easy to read. I didn't see pho soup but I could of easily missed it. The sweet pulled pork is good. The vegetable delight is good. The crispy soup was not clear broth and it was too sweet to my liking. The miso soup was good. The chicken wings, cabbage and mushroom dumpling were a hit with the whole family. The vegetables rolls we ok, the kids complained the veggies were too raw and no flavor. What a great Thai place! Exceptionally clean and tidy. All the staff was friendly and attentive. All our food came out in a timely manner and was excellent! What an unexpectedly great Thai meal we had here in the strip mall. The crystal soup was sublime, so much more flavor than usual. And something as mundane as the veggie delight ( I don't expect much there) had a lovely garlicky sauce as well, instead of the boring brown variety one often sees. Tofu Massamun curry entirely serviceable, but I would add a plate to the huge tureen they serve it in. Thai rolls and veggie spring rolls quite good as well. My wife and kids just moved to New Hampshire and went out on our first date night since our move. Sweet Ginger was an incredible dining experience from the moment we sat down we were greeted with very friendly staff and oh the food, wow! We started we a few Thai beers and some appetizers, fresh rice paper spring rolls and mushroom and cabbage fried in crispy bites. My wife have the Eggplant and tofu and I had the Drunken Noodles with shrimp and ground chicken. Both were amazing! We finished with a couple taro Boba teas. If your up for this type of food then you should be happy. For me (I'd rather Chinese food) I was not too thrilled with the crab ragoons or chicken fingers. Menu has many options - we had the crab rangoons (amazing with curry in them), garlic pork stirfry and Siam rice (fried rice with shrimp, chicken and veggies). Wow! We just had a delicious dinner a few days ago! We have gone in the past and it has always been good but I don't know whether they changed chefs but the food was amazing! The only issue was we ordered appetizers and we weren't done with them when our main dishes came. Next time know to order appetizers and wait to order main dish. read more

My girlfriend and I visited New Hampshire and stopped at Sweet Ginger for dinner. It is a beautiful restaurant that was just recently enlarged, and it was really nicely done. The servers were very friendly, and the menus were very extensive. I had Salmon Terriyaki, and my girlfriend had Papaya Salad, and Duck Noodle soup. Both dishes were prepared quickly, and the taste was amazing. We really enjoyed our dinner, and I know that we will return very soon. read more

I ate dinner here on a Friday night. The food at Sweet Ginger is quite good. We tried the mango curry, the traditional Pad Thai, and crispy chicken and found the quality to be excellent. Portion size was quite good- we had quite a bit of leftovers. Everything tasted authentic and fresh. However, the service experience was strange and I'm not sure I'd dine in again. We came in for dinner at around 8:30 pm and from the moment we were seated, it was clear that our server was trying to rush us out of there. We took a little longer than usual to order because there was someone in our party who had never had Thai food before, so we were explaining to her what the basics. This seemed to irritate our server greatly. Then, he tried to talk us out of the things we ordered and acted very condescending to us, as if we didn't understand what we were ordering. It was very rude! My daughter ordered the crispy chicken and the server tried to talk her out of it - I think it was because of the amount of time it takes to prepare the dish! At one point he complained to us that we had interrupted his dinner break and that he was hungry. The restaurant closes at 10 pm, and at 9:50, our server brought us our bill and stood there at the table, hovering over us while we were still eating, staring at us until we paid it. I've never experienced anything so awkward. The busboys were trying to clean the dining room and put the chairs up while people were still in there eating. I'd suggest skipping the dining room and going with take-out. read more

Our experience at this restaurant was great from start to finish! The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. We really enjoyed our authentic Thai food appetizers and entrees, and the Sweet Ginger Mai Tai is excellent! The entire staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our meal. The staff sometimes lack attention to details that were requested - put peanuts on my pad thai, although i requested for none; forgot my kimchi side dish order. I was very underwhelmed and disappointed. They forgot about me for 10 minutes. Honest mistake but the food did not make up for it. Hands down the worst Tom Yum soup I have ever had. And I've tried many. Tastes over salted and laden with cheap ingredients. Lacks flavor and overall quality. Green Curry with Chicken is decent. Fresh rolls goi cion todmon fillets chili pad Thai My wife and I were back in NH visiting old friends who live in Merrimack. When looking for a place for dinner, they suggested Sweet Ginger (technically Sweet Ginger 2 since their first restaurant is in Somerville MA). My wife and I didn't know it was there as we've moved from the area over a year ago (plus, we didn't drive by that shopping area much). For being in a "strip mall", the interior is very nice and clean. We started with the "Fresh Rolls" (goi cuon). They were very good. I would have put some crushed peanuts in the sauce or as a side dish however. We also shared some Tod Mon also. I really like those. For entrees, I went with the "Filet and Fresh Chili" which are some deep fried tilapia fillets covered with a chili sauce. It was great but it wasn't spicy enough for me. Next time, I'll ask for more chili sauce. My wife had the classic Pad Thai. It was very nice too. We'll certainly return on our next trip. read more

Ate here once a while back, and this is definitely a place that I want to go back to! They have bubble tea. I got one and it was incredibly sweet. I actually had enjoyed what my husband had more. I can't recall specifically what it was though. It wasn't as sweet as mine had been. I think this is probably one of the better Thai restaurants in the area. I usually do take out from there, and they are always busy - for good reason. They have decent portions with good prices.
