She told us if the coffee was too bitter after trying, she could add more syrups/sugar/flavor etc. There were many flavor options and really wanted to try them all. Cheesecake was delicious! The fruits were fresh and the cheesecake was creamy and thick. We also got cupcakes and my favorite was the passion fruit tres leche. So good, never thought of seeing those flavors together. In hopes of fulfilling my sweet fix of French macarons I entered this fairly new local bakery which is a nice welcome addition to the Ozone Park locality as a lifelong Queens resident. This is a cute bakery café. When scanning the bakery glass display counter for French macarons, to my utter dismay, to no avail. When inquiring if there were any French macarons available a worker behind the counter bluntly stated: "we don't have any as she did not make any. She did not make any." Okay, I understand. I probe further, "when will you have French macarons?" Again, the same stolid response: "she did not make any!" A female customer was waiting for her order, standing next to me, who truly understood my inquiry intervene and kindly assisted with interjecting: "she is asking when will you make French macarons and when will you have them?" I departed dispiritedly as my hope was not heeded for French macarons. Squat! Listen to your customers, please. Nevertheless, I was able to attain my coveted French macarons from 7-Eleven's South Richmond Hill, Queens for a 4 piece set at $3.99. Wow. This cafe is absolutely incredible. My girlfriend & I come here all the time and love EVERYTHING this place offers. The owner, her daughter, & the rest of her staff are always so friendly and welcoming every single time we come in. Always good conversation when we are here. To start off, I always order their cappuccinos which always taste delicious. They order their coffee beans from a roaster known as "Devocion" based in Brooklyn which serves very high quality coffee beans which is perfect for any espresso drink. Their cappuccinos are always a perfect start to my morning. Their cupcakes here are out of this world. We've tried a lot of their flavors and my favorites are the tres leche, carrot, & graham cracker cupcakes. Every bite into their mini cupcakes is like a piece of heaven. The texture of each cupcake is excellent and they are not too sweet either! Also, their Lucky Charm bar treats are also incredibly good. We are certainly looking forward to coming here more often! In-accurate I ordered two flan from here. I was disappointed that the serving size was so small when I saw the jar. Many other bakeries sell flan for the same price but much better portions. Then I was even more upset after opening it. It was covered in strawberries which was not listed in the description. God forbid I was allergic! Under the strawberries (which were soggy) and on top of the flan was what I assume must have been tres leches as it was spongy and wet. When you finally get to the flan itself, it's okay.
