Post detailing what is supposed to be in store today

I couldn't tell you how good the pie was because we didn't buy any. We arrived at the store front an hour after opening and they were already sold out of most of the slices of pie. I asked about a new seasonal flavor that was advertised on the Facebook page this morning and was told they weren't serving that until next month. I wouldn't go back.

The last slice of our gifted apple pie.

We were gifted a classic apple pie from Sweet Lucy's, and it was so great, I had to leave a review. The lattice crust was beautiful (a rustic masterpiece), and inside the apple filling was thinly sliced (like a tarte tatin I had in Paris), deliciously tart, plentiful and perfectly spiced! I don't ordinarily love pie, but I loved this pie. It's too bad we don't live closer to Fort Worth. Highly recommend.

Ordered a peach buttermilk pie from Sweet Lucy's and it was delicious! While I was picking up I also bought a few things from the Fort Worth Cookie gal and they were also delicious! Will be a repeat customer!

Looking for the best pies in town...look no further - Ms. Lucy currently makes the magic in her home kitchen. She delivers, you can pick up off her porch or catch her at the Clearfork Farmer's Market. She is quick to return messages via DM or voicemail. My first visit to Sweet Lucy's was for a homemade apple pie. Now...I am NOT a fan of the apple pie....but lemme tell ya somethin' - this crust...oh this crust- only crust I've tasted that is almost as good as my momma's. Super flaky bottom & topped with a lattice crust. For my Momma's birthday last year I ordered a coconut cream pie. Excellent - a little disappointed that it was topped with whipped cream over meringue. But never fear -- the whipped cream was so good my disappointment was short lived! This evening I snagged some galettes- fresh roasted B&G Texas beets & carrots along with blue cheese in a folded butter pastry. Oh my goodness! It was difficult to share. Delicious pastries and pies along with a beautiful presentation. Give her a try! You can thank me later.

Key Lime Berry - I couldn't stop eating it to take the picture! Fabulous

Woohoo SO GOOD! First time customer and my family and I LOVED everything we tried. Honestly it's a tie for first between the Key Lime-Berry & Peach-Blueberry...both were awesome! The Key Lime had perfect zing, with the sweet berries and delicious graham cracker crust, it all worked beautifully together! The Peach Blueberry Pie was full of tender delicious peaches and berries. The crumble on top was generous and not overly sweet. Both pieces were a very good size and totaled $12. I bought one additional item before peach season ends, it was a Bourbon Peach Bar $4. It was also scrumptious from top to bottom! The two ladies in the shop were so friendly and polite (one was probably the owner). It's a small business, but boy do that have some fabulous treats. I was also given a sample of the Texas Sheet Cake Whoopie Pie, and I would definitely recommend it. I honestly would have liked to buy more, items, but I'll save some for another day. I can't wait to see what seasonal goodies pop up soon, hope y'all give this sweet business a try!

A photo does not do justice to this awesome pie! Just the aroma!!!

We tried the TX Whiskey Peach Buttermilk pie. Best pie I've had in years, along with the flakiest crust ever.

There are also a lot of Mochi donuts and cookies to choose from in the glass case. Arrive early to ensure all baked goods are still available. They sell out quickly. The shop is adorably kitschy. The loud vibrant colors aren't overshadowed by the loud vibrant music. LOL! It is a cute place to hang out for a bit. It's more of an energy recharge than chill spot. The Nutella Biscoff cookie was good, not great, but good. It was surprisingly not too sweet and a nice mid day dessert. There is plenty of parking as this place is located in the Montgomery Plaza shopping center. I will come back to try some more drinks and a donut.

We were getting a drink after lunch, I got their milk tea and added black boba, my husband got a lemonade and our kid got a s'mores cookie. They have a plethora of drink options and quite a few cookie and donut options as well. We originally had an issue with the cookie that we bought, but we discovered it while we were still in the store and the staff quickly addressed it and replaced the cookie. They have a shared parking lot. So you may have to walk a little ways and they are conveniently located around a lot of different stores. We would definitely stop back by when we are in the area.

The Hubby and I were on date night continuing our "Eating the Alphabet" around the DFW area (check…read moreus out on YouTube: HowWeDoHWD), and even though it was chilly outside, we couldn't resist stopping by Melt on Magnolia in Fort Worth. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, sunshine-filled space that smelled absolutely divine--fresh, homemade waffle cones baking and filling the room with happiness. The staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and even offered samples (yes please!), which made choosing a flavor both fun and deliciously difficult. After a few tastes, I landed on Sweet Cream and Cookie Crush--and wow. The sweet cream was classic and comforting, instantly reminding me of my grandmother's homemade ice cream. The cookie crush brought bold flavor: rich, house-made dark chocolate cookies folded into salty vanilla ice cream. The perfect balance of sweet, salty, and indulgent. Pros: Warm and happy aesthetic, heavenly cone smells, and super friendly staff. Cons: The inside is a bit small with limited seating--but during warmer days, the outdoor patio offers plenty of space to enjoy your scoop. I will absolutely be returning to Melt. It's cozy, nostalgic, and full of flavor--definitely worth the stop, no matter the weather.
