I won a gift card about two years ago at an event! I had heard nothing but good things about this place. My husband and I were lazy on this rainy afternoon and decided let's use the gift card. I ordered our food online and picked it up. Got blueberry lavender lemonade it is very good. We ordered the buffalo and taco wrap. Big portions for the price.

Wonderful little vegan cafe in Fall River! I happened to be in the area and went for a walk to check it out. Friendly staff, adorable decor, chill place right across from what looks like a hospital. Healthy as well as comfort food options. The vegan (oat milk) peppermint mocha latte I got was delicious! The sweet potato burrito was a little bland, but super healthy, so I was fine with that. Might try something else if I am ever in the area again.

Love having access to vegan options so close to home. The Buffalo pasta salad is a must I grab almost every order but there's not a sandwich I haven't liked. The inside has limited seating. In the summer sitting outside can be nice but if you're there during a busy time you might opt for to-go.

Super good option for vegan food. The place is 100% vegan and seems to do everything well. We had the breakfast panini, wrap and tacos and all were delicious. Staff was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere and ambience is cute and cozy. There is plenty of seating at non peak times that is all first come first serve. I would go back here anytime. I would be a regular if I lived in the area. Two thumbs up!

Cool vegan spot in a nice part of Fall River. I liked the vibe here, really laid back and nice people. Food was okay. I got their Caribbean wrap which had avocado, jerk sauce and pineapple salsa. I also tried their Butternut Burrito with avocado, caramelized onions and quinoa. Both wraps were $9.50, but they were a little lacking in flavor. Each could have used more sauce. However, their Oreo Brownie bar was so good. Fudgey and super tasty. $2.75 Pretty small portions for my liking, but I expect that at all vegan joints.

I wanted to be sure to review the best vegan place around, which is Sweet Rose Cafe! I have been there a few times and their paninis and sandwiches are so delicious! Their muffins and desserts melt in your mouth, they are so yummy! If you are in the area, stop by and enjoy this adorable place with excellent food! I attached pictures of my pumpkin/chocolate chip muffin and some cinnamon buns and twists! So good!

If you're vegan or vegetarian, you won't find a wider selection for breakfast or lunch. The menu is HUGE and features breakfasts with vegan eggs, avocado toasts, salads, soups, paninis, quinoa bowls, sandwiches, wraps. If you want vegan protein, you will find many, many items on the menu. But lottsa vegetarian fare as well. Wish the Cafe had opened before I retired.

My step-daughter told me about Sweet Rose Cafe as she knew I was a vegan. She saw an advertisement for it on Facebook. Last night we were going to dinner at her house and I always bring my own food so that I don't inconvenience her since I am the only non-meat eater. So, I stopped in to pick up something quick. I have to tell you that it is super cute inside! The staff was very nice and helpful! They even cooked me a small piece of the tempeh bacon to try for next time, which was delicious! I ordered the Chickpea salad and the beet salad. Both were tasty and filling! I am looking forward to going back and trying the butternut squash panini! Would highly recommend. i've never had a meal from sweet rose i didn't like! i know people get weary over vegan food but honestly you can't even tell half the time! i usually get the pressed pesto panini or the chourico one. both are to die for. if you're looking for a healthier option their salad portions are HUGE! one lasted me three meals! read more

I stopped off here from NYC on my way to catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. I got the TLT sandwich with pesto dressing. I'd only intended to eat half and take the other half with me but it was so delicious I couldn't stop myself from eating the whole sandwich right then and there. It was so good, I ordered the sandwich online while I was on the return ferry and picked it up and ate it on my way back home. #happytummy read more

AMAZING!! First off there are NO vegan friendly places at least not many in the south coast area. This place was great I got a garden grilled "cheese" and I was full by half of it- delicious and extremely filling! The chai tea is amazing. They have great cinnamon rolls and great smoothies. Customer service was great too, the woman at the counter actually had a personality and seemed happy to help me (this is a rarity these days) I'll definitely be back! read more

I couldn't be more happy that I have a vegan/vegetarian option in Fall River. They make great food and have such a beautiful cafe. It does take a long time to get your order, but I expect that will improve with time. Call ahead if you don't want to wait. read more

This place is amazing! The food is fresh and made with quality ingredients. Stopped here passing through and it is now a destination for me. The hardest part was deciding what I was going to order. So many amazing dishes and everything was available with a gluten-free option. I will definitely be coming back to try everything on the menu. In terms of social distancing and sanitation, the restaurant was 10/10. The restaurant was spotless and was frequently wiped down with hand sanitizer available at every touch point. read more

I've eaten at Sweet Rose Cafe several times, and it's always been delicious. I follow a whole food, plant-based vegan eating style, and it's such a treat to be able to order anything on the menu. Most recently I ordered their daily special, which was a curried chickpea salad sandwich. It was advertised on a roll, but I substituted delicious toasted multigrain bread. read more

Came here for the first time yesterday after my best friend told me about a new vegan spot across from her job! As far as appearance, it is such a cute location! And the food did not disappoint either. I had a pumpkin muffin which was so moist and yummy, it wasn't overly sweet like your typical Dunkin' Donuts one. I also had an Oreo brownie which again was extremely moist! You would have no idea it's vegan, I brought it to my boyfriend who is not vegan and he had no idea. I also had, after trying to pick one sandwich from their wonderful menu, A vegan no meatball sub. It is lentil and quinoa-based but taste so delicious like a regular meatball sub. The sauce was great and the vegan cheese was to die for, I've been vegan for seven years and even I couldn't believe this cheese was vegan! My only suggestion would be to cook the meatballs in the sauce so the inside of the meatballs have more flavor rather than just putting the sauce on top. That's just my inner Italian preference lol. I am so excited to keep coming back to this place to try all their menu items. My best friend has tried so many items and says they're all so delicious even her non vegan coworkers love this place read more

Delicious vegan restaurant but unfortunately, anything with soy upsets my stomach. There are other items on this menu that are delectable without soy which makes me eager to go back and experiment. Everything is fresh and is made to order. Delicious cappuccino! I love it there! read more

Yum! It took me a long time to try this place because I typically don't eat vegan, but I wanted to try something new today that was close by. I was not disappointed! I tried to Roasted Chickpea Bowl, which was so yummy! It was very filling, and had great savory taste. I loved the dressing it came with! I also had a cookie which didn't taste like a "vegan" cookie, which I was nervous about. It was very delicious and perfect texture. A little on the sweeter side, which I like! This place is brand new. They transformed a local house into a vegan bakery and Cafe. Wife and I stopped by this morning for coffee and muffins. Everything was fantastic. Coffee was the best I've had in the city. Muffins were excellent even if you are not a big vegan person. We are looking forward to return trips. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would, this place has very poor customer service. We got there at around 12 and did not get our food until 12:30 when all I had gotten was a garden grilled cheese sandwich. And on top of that we had to remind them half an hour later for our pastries that we never got. Everything is way too overpriced for no reason whatsoever. Will not be coming back here. read more

Pressed Pesto everytime for me. However, all of the food is absolutely amazing! I'm not vegan, I just like good food (healthy) The only complaint I ever had from anyone I brought there was that they didnt have regular milk for coffee. duh. The taco wraps is amazing. the breakfast box with soyrizo is amazing. EVERYTHING is amazing. Soooo friendly too. read more

LOVE this place! It's very new and they're doing so well already. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte, breakfast panini, and chocolate chip cookie. Everything was so delicious and VEGAN! I'm in love with the outside terrace where they have the cutest decorations for fall. Customer service was on point, the gentleman who took my order was very nice and took his time to help me decide what to get. I saw so many good options and all the sweets looked delicious. An awesome place with awesome outside seating! The food was incredibly delicious, thanks to the wonderful staff even though our takeout order got mismatched and taken before we got there, not only did they make the food again but also did it in a timely manner and included some bonus sweets for our time. I follow a low-carb lifestyle, which is often thought of as the complete opposite of a vegan lifestyle, but even I was able to find a nice, low-carb option at this charming, conveniently-located family business near Charlton Hospital. FYI, they'll swap out real dairy cheese if you ask, but the sour cream can't be swapped. The taco salad without the tortilla chips and beans suited my requirements. I imagine this is a godsend for vegan/vegetarians in the area. Best wishes to the owners. read more

My partner went with the Caprese sandwich, which is served on a pressed ciabatta with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, spinach, pesto mayo, and balsamic. It was simple and tasty, and I was lucky enough to get a couple bites! I went with the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap, which was also simple, but packed with flavor. It had all the obvious ingredients with the addition of pickles, which added such a nice briny little punch and really hit the spot. Something worth noting: both of our items were ordered from the laminated menu at the register, not in the beautiful leather-bound Aurora Bar menu, which appears to be an evening menu with cocktails and other tasty food items. For drinks, I went with an espresso tonic; the slight bitterness of the quinine plays really nicely against the bold espresso, and it's one of those combinations that's refreshing in a way that's hard to explain until you try it. One small note for the team: the Riverside location has always had a real warmth and cohesion to the staff that I haven't quite felt at Bristol. A staff member came out from the back and began yelling at me at the counter. I am a faculty member at Roger Williams and I was there with a student and line was to the door behind me. "that's a latte! you're just being cheap! I know its a Tik Tok Hack!" I'm 56. I've never been on Tik Tok. I wasn't trying to "hack" anything. I just wanted a splash of oatmilk in my $4 2 oz coffee. I told her I didn't know what she was going on about ridiculing in front of everyone in the restaurant. Then, she rolled her eyes and told me "I'll give you a thimble-full. That's it.!" My coffee came out completely black. She didn't even put enough in to change the color. seriously, what is wrong with people? if I was not there with the Student, I would have walked out.

Instead of addressing that, he immediately walked over to another table to check on two guests who were already dining. After finishing with them, he walked right past me without asking if I'd like to start with a drink or acknowledging that I was even seated. There was absolutely no hospitality it felt more like hostility and indifference. The ambiance is aesthetically pleasing, but unfortunately that's where the positives end. The food is mediocre at best and definitely not worth overlooking such poor service. Customer service makes or breaks a dining experience, and today it completely broke it for me. I won't be returning and would recommend trying one of the many other restaurants in the area instead.

This place has kept me happy for quite some time. Ingredients are super fresh and the variety of salads/sandwiches/baked goods is everything a vegan, non-vegan, veggie-enthusiast could wish for!
