Such an incredible first-time experience, I re-booked before leaving! This was my first time getting waxed in 7 months and I figured it would be a painful experience; I was so wrong, Niesha took great care of me. She pays attention to detail, works in small sections, waxes in the direction of hair growth (meaning little-no ingrown hairs), and is very knowledgeable. She even told me to take deep breaths on the areas that are a bit more sensitive, which helped me to not tense up. Of course there is a bit of pain when it comes to waxing, and every person's pain tolerance is different, but because of her expertise, it went by so quick and I believe that first timers and those searching for a new waxing location will be very pleased. I went mid-day on a Friday. I called same-day and thankfully they had an available appointment within the hour. Full Brazilian wax took a total of 30 minutes. Room was very clean, and there is a TV above head for your entertainment while you are getting your service. If you aren't paying close attention while driving to this location you may miss your turn, but it's very easy to get to. Parking lot is small, but there was a free spot when I arrived. I cannot explain to you....how happy and RELIEVED I am to have found Sweet Samba in Alpharetta. I moved from the west side to town almost 5 years ago. I been to all the locations but good things come to those who wait I guess, because I think this is now my place to go. I found this thanks to my fellow yelpers(I LOVE you guys!). 1. Reservation System- The reservation system is amazing. As many of us know, with a busy schedule it's sometimes hard to call someplace and give them our whole list of available time slots and dates and figuring out how long certain services will take, etc. Sweet Samba take walk-ins. I've gone to several of there locations and its always easy to get a appointment last minute. I saw Niesha on my first visit; I hadn't requested her or anything, since it was my first time I just went with anyone. She is SO sweet and took her time during the service. I went back to her a second time last week and perfection! Also shout out to the front desk she a hoot! She had me laughing while i waited for my waxer. Shes crazy and will say anything (she was there both times I went) and she complimented me on my nails and we talked like we knew each other. I have been going to Sweet Samba for over 2 years now after a close girlfriend's recommendation and absolutely love it here. The ladies, Chasity and Niesha, are the best! Not only ate they very welcoming and personable, they are also very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. I look forward to my every 4-5 week appointment with Chasity because we always start our conversation where we left off the last time we met. I have referred several family members and each of them are repeat clients. In addition to great customer service which is very important to me, cleanliness is also on the top of my list and i have yet to be disappointed. I have always been able to call the day before or even the day of and get an appointment with ease. I never have to wait to be seen for my appointment, Chasity is usually waiting for me or will come out soon after to let me know she'll be with me VERY shortly, if not on her way. We're do I start. I found a hide treasure in Alpharetta. I've driven pass this place a million times but today I notice the color had change and it was now a waxing place. It said WALKIN WELCOME so I just walked in. I was greeted by this refreshing smell. Before I could inquiry about any services I had to know what was that smell? It was a candle the girl had just lit. The ladies in store are welcoming but place is very inviting. The decor is hip and cute. The wood wall was creative. The music was loud and fun,I almost forgot why I was there. I just wanted to start dancing. I signed in and my waxer introduce herself was Neesha. She was very cool. I had just met her but it seem like I've known her for years. She asked me some questions and after realizing we have kids around the same ages we exchange stories about how crazy raising daughters can be. Before I knew it she was done. I purchased a Goupon for a wax from this location a few days ago and based on the price and the fact I NEVER had a wax I really had low expectations! I've heard horror stories of women and waxes so I was very nervous of the pain that I was about to endure. Upon arrival, I walked through the door and I was immediately impressed with the décor, warmth, and professionalism of the staff. I began to chat with the esthetician and told her this was my first time she assured me that I can forget all the horror stories because she would ensure that before I leave I had the best possible experience and all the products I need in order to make my experience enjoyable during and after the services are rendered. Long story short, I can HONESTLY give my stamp of approval. The wax was quick and almost painless. I received several great products to make sure everything stayed nice and smooth. This is a nice place, conveniently located, yet discreet to allow for a little extra privacy. It wasn't the first time I had ever been waxed, but my experience with was completely different than the others in all the right ways! My esthetician was friendly, funny with a nice smile that instantly puts your nerves to rest. What really set her a part from the others was how fast, swift , and relatively painless it was compared to my previous experiences! Skill and attention to detail make all the difference in the waxing world when it comes to having a less painful experience, and this girl certainly knows his stuff! I really enjoyed my experience and I will most definitely be back. I am a very specific person when it comes to receiving spa/beauty services. The pain was minimal and it didn't take long at all. Constance did not double dip in the wax!!! She is very personable and our conversation caused me not to focus on the pain. I appreciate her for that :) The only thing is that the little bit of wax that was left over wasn't as easy to remove. OMG I'm so excited Alpharetta finally has a Sweet Samba... I love going to SS however living in this area its been really hard to make the time to travel to Buckhead. yesssssss!!! Me and my girlfriend choose this spot as a girls day since it was highly recommended and I am known to be a bit picky. Well they did not disappoint. The staff was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable of what they do. This was my first waxing so I was a nervous wreck but they did a great job of putting me at ease. When I saw this location on my way to work I literally screamed in my car. I usually go their Midtown location so I trust their work.
