Jerry (owner of Sweet window tinting) was recommended to us by Hoods, etc. We took in our car for PPF (paint protective film) of the entire vehicle. Jerry free handed this particular job, as it was for an older classic vehicle that didn't have a pattern readily available for it. Jerry is extremely meticulous and was communicative throughout the whole process. We've taken our other cars up to Scottsdale for this service and Jerry surpasses the best in Scottsdale. We're lucky to have him here in Tucson. Sweet Window Tinting is family owned and operated. Jerry and his daughter actually did the work together on our car and we are so grateful to both of them! The car battery coincidentally died while it was in their shop and they offered to drive down to the auto parts store to replace it. They are just genuine people who really care about what they do and they go above and beyond. It's also important to note that they don't just do window tinting, hence the PPF. So I have to ding these guys just a bit. Don't worry, I will also offer good comments; Pro: Friendly, quality tinting. Cons: 1: Appointments seem somewhat haphazard. Twice when I asked to come over. One answer was "Can you wait, I need to go get a sandwich". Second time "Can you come right away, I need to run an errand". 1a: I suppose I am confused why the schedule of the business takes precedence and the customer needs to schedule around sandwiches and errands. I don't recall ever running into this with other businesses. Perhaps they should consider hiring some min wage High School kid to manage the office around this? 2: When I got the car home, I found the rear head rests were not installed. I found them in the trunk of the car. My car has three, I had not noticed the center one was different until I had popped in the wrong one. It took me a few minutes to find the "Secret Release" before I could remove it and reinstall it in the correct position. 3: The owner was not wearing a mask although in Pima County it is actually mandatory by law. His response was "Yeah, I don't really believe in masks". 3a: Should the business not cater to the customer? Let alone abide by local laws? The owner can believe whatever he wants, I could care less if once I leave he walks around naked and kisses zombies. The owner should realize some customers have a history of illness that puts them in a higher danger category for COVID-19. To disregard this quite frankly is somewhat selfish, and a bit reckless. read more

Jerry is very knowledgeable about window tinting. He taught me a lot about how there are different grades of tint and how they reject the UV that makes your car hot inside. It is neat with all of his set up of different shades and grade of tint he had on display. I originally had my tinting done five months ago and one of my window was peeling the tint. I called him this morning and he was able to squeeze me in his busy schedule and replaced the tint quickly. As long as I live in Arizona, I will continue to come back to Jerry for my tinting needs. Amazing window tinting on my Shelby GT 500. Great selection of tints that you won't get at a lot of tint shops. The tint we chose cuts the UV down and you can't feel any heat coming through the windows even in mid Tucson summers. Flawless install. We also got to watch the process which was very cool. Don't go anywhere else to get your auto glass tint! Make the drive from Tucson to Oro Valley...it's absolutely worth it! We did some research on auto tint locally and as Jerry's place was close by, we called...ended up going in. He's definitely the expert on both auto tint and his products. We talked about the different types and grades of tint, what they do and don't do, and the cost of each...which is very reasonable! He then shows you the difference in both light and heat transmissions with each film with your hand, so you can feel it, and a light gun...pretty impressive. Once done, we made a selection, he knocked it out, and we picked our car up. The tint looks amazing, very clean lines and very professional work. He even buffed out a window wiper scratch on the windshield without even asking...looks amazing, can hardly see the scratch now. Thanks Jerry for a great window tint job and the extra work! I went into this transaction with some (not a lot but some) knowledge. I asked the owner (Jerry) about the tint and everything he told me was 100% in-line with what I had read. In addition, it may have resulted in me choosing a less expensive option, but he was completely honest, despite the possibility of losing money. Eventually, I decided on the more expensive option, but I did so knowingly. Honesty in business goes a long way with me, but it wasn't just that. We recently had Sweet Window Tinting install V-KOOL film on a number of windows in our home. Knowing that most of the reviews for Sweet Window Tinting relate to vehicles, I wanted to share our experience regarding film/tinting for windows of our home. Jerry and his son Zack came out to discuss options with us and we were very impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. This carried over to the work they performed which was exacting, meticulous and striving for perfection - that is the standard they set for their company and they do everything to meet it. The amount of equipment necessary to do the work required a large scaffold and other equipment. They were extremely careful to assure that any furniture that was moved was properly protected from damage and that other fragile objects were completely removed from the work area to avoid any damage or breakage. They covered the flooring and exercised extraordinary care in protecting walls and other structures in proximity to their work. We are very pleased with Jerry's recommendation of the V-KOOL and expect to have Jerry and Zack put the film on additional windows in our home. They exemplify great customer service, something which can be in short supply these days. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for film/tint for their home windows. read more
