Was here for a Yelp Elite event. Ambiance is average & service was good…read more The complimentary chicken, pork belly & sticky rice plus Thai iced tea sampler were all really good. Chicken was flavorful & moist. Pork belly was crispy tho a tad dry. Sticky rice was nice good! Also ordered their spring rolls, noodles & mango w/sticky rice too. Spring rolls were soft & really fresh. My preference is combo shrimp pork together but they keep theirs separate, which is fine, just different style. Peanut sauce is really great! Sometimes it's too thick & peanut buttery or too thin & vinegary at other places. Theirs is perfect! Mango was a tad under ripe. Maybe not quite in season? but again, sticky rice on point. Noodles were plentiful & delicious! Thai iced tea was really nice! Really glad I got to try LA Kitchen. Will definitely be back again

Had the chance to attend a Yelp Elite event at LA Kitchen and I totally understand now why people…read morerave about the pork belly. It was super crispy without being hard, easy to bite into, and not overly fatty at all. Every sauce paired perfectly with the sticky rice, pork belly, and fried chicken. The chicken itself was incredibly moist and flavorful. I was secretly hoping for crispier skin, but honestly the flavor made up for it. Before leaving, I ordered the sausage with sticky rice plus both the shrimp and pork spring rolls to-go because I already knew I was going to want more later. The spring rolls were SO fresh and delicious. The shrimp wasn't overcooked, the pork was tender, and that peanut sauce absolutely tied everything together. The sausage was another standout, very flavorful, juicy, easy to chew, and perfect with the sticky rice. My only regret was forgetting to ask for chili oil before I left... thankfully I had some at home because it took everything to the next level. Big shoutout to Lana working the front counter, she was incredibly friendly and generous the entire time. I also got to meet La herself, and she was so warm and easy to talk to. They have a large seating area on the right side of the restaurant and condiments on every table. You can genuinely tell this place puts a lot of heart into the quality and flavors they serve. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu.

When I was young and I was sick I would ask my mom to make me soup. My mom lives very far away now,…read moreso now I have the excuse to order Thai Boat soup instead. Omg. The spice is everything and will heal the worst of ailments. I'm pretty sure it could cure whatever the next pandemic is. But really, the spice is delicious and there's such depth to the flavor that makes me feel like someone who loves me made this soup. Served best on very rainy and cold days too. Now that we're in the middle of summer I dream of that perfect afternoon with some delicious thai boat

They have a large variety of noodles here, pho, thai boat noodles, khao soy, khao poon, and also tons of other thai /cambodian / lao choices. We got a thai boat noodle, khao soy, and pork belly to share. The thai boat noodle and khao soy are delicious. It was my first time ordering khao soy I thought khao soy was a curry based dish, but my noodles were a pork based broth, still yummy though! The pork belly here is huge and served hot and super crispy, miles better than any other pork belly I've tried. The thai tea had an off putting flavor, like they had made it with soy mik? instead of condensed evaporated milk? Total was $83 after tax and tip, this place is pretty hole in the wall but even hole in the wall places have to charge more now to keep up with inflation. Great fast service !

Perfectly fresh crisp lettuce, fresh mint, and fresh perfect noodles. I can't say enough of fresh and tasty these were. The peanut sauce was rich and think with a slight sweet flavor. Very nice. The bao buns, has crispy bread, with a I nice mix of veggies, and this tasty sweet sesame mayo that ties it all together. The sausages were my favorite. I was amazed at how many herbs and flavors they managed to pack in a single sausage. But it was incredible. The service was great, because the owner helped us. She's kind and just happy to host. Honestly, this place was so good, I just can't wait to go back.

I'd give 10/10 for service however, for my food ratings, I base it mainly on the food. The food is okay. Not the best Thai/Lao food I had but not the worse. We ordered the papaya salad platter with the grilled chicken, egg rolls, pork belly, sausage combo. The best part was the chicken and sausage. I was not a fan of the veggie eggrolls as it was soggy and the pork tasted old. The papaya itself was okay; not as flavorful as I wanted and we got it Lao style and medium spice. It was not spicy at all, very mild. I also ordered a green Thai tea and it was very tasty and something I don't see often in other local Thai restaurant. The prices were also kinda high compared to other Thai/Lao places. However, I would come back to this place to try their other dishes as I'm still interested in trying their other foods.

We have tried and liked the spring rolls, crispy chicken dumplings, drunken noodles and soups but I can't remember which. I feel like it doesn't matter, it's going to be good. I'm looking forward to working my way through the menu. It's in a strip mall so parking is not a problem. The restaurant, including bathroom is clean when we eat in, although it can get a little messy when busy. When you enter, you order at the back counter and then seat yourself. There is just one person taking orders, delivering food and bussing tables. Service has been friendly and efficient. Highly recommend

Love the tamarind flavor with an ample amount of chicken. I appreciate that it wasn't just noodles with a skimpy portion of protein. If I had a gripe it would be to add more crushed peanuts as there was barely any. They offer various Thai and Lao dishes here and they have tofu as a protein choice. Keep in mind this not Vietnamese so no pho menu. They have can sodas only. Clean bathroom and friendly service. Glad to see a good Thai/Lao establishment on this side of town!
