The food always hits! Flavor is authentic! And device was great. Steady but good didn't take too long. Plus they had the fried pig ears and we got a pack as well.

This place has your fix for Lao, Vietnamese and thai dishes. Everything was delicious and they even have some of the unique dishes like pho made with blood. I wasn't brave enough to try it but their pho was amazing! So much flavor in the broth and everything tasted fresh. They give you a cold bottle of water and caprisuns for kids if wanted instead of water. Food is made quickly and their chili oil is made better than most places. The fresh spring rolls were pork and shrimp.....those were also perfect..nephew tried the pad thai and he thought it was a bit sweet but i think he is just not used to the thai dishes..ill definitely be back.

Sister and I ordered- Thum Kow Boon- Asked for medium, but it was so spicy. My sister is breastfeeding so she can't eat spicy. My spice tolerance in my 40s is not as high. Their medium spicy was just a tad too spicy for me and that is saying a lot. Sausage- Just a tad dry for me, but herby like I like it. Chicken Wings- Good, a little fishy. Beef Salad- My sister got it for herself and I had some, it was my favorite thing from their restaurant. Sticky rice- A good portion.

Although this was my first time here, this is a regular spot for my husband. It didn't disappoint and I quickly figured out why he goes so often. The fried soft shell crab was definitely star of the show buttttt the jerky and crispy pork belly were also delicious. We ordered a ton of food and not a single thing that we ordered was bad. I also ordered the pad see ew which was packed with flavor, papaya salad was fresh and had a kick of spice from the mild option. I wish I had taken more photos. The service was outstanding! The staff is friendly, fast and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small shop but had seating to accommodate us as a large party.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Oh and the Pho is also so good my 7 year old picky son ate it lol. First but not last visit to Pho Lao Vieng

Nice mom & pop shop. If you're wanting authentic Laotian food, this is the place for you. When you first walk in you usually get to seat yourself. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The menus are taped down under the glass table top so you can see.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offered us bottled waters. After ordering the food it came out suspiciously quick lol. If you decide to order any of the fish, they told us it would take 25 mins to make. Overall, the food was delicious.

This is a good spot if you're strictly look for Lao food. I like that they have khao poon Nam jeow here which a lot of places don't offer. And they have pork blood as well. Also the fried intestines there is bomb, I only wish the jeow som was more fresh. Their price has really gone up but the portion is pretty big. I like to go here and order a bunch of stuff and do family style with my friends. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's plenty of seatings here but they can get busy and it gets pretty packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service here is always friendly.

Great service, family run restaurant. Food is always fresh and comes out super quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place gets pretty crowded and it's kinda tight fitting but they still manage to get everyone seated and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love that they have baked goods and pre packaged snacks displayed and also all the pictures of the dishes blasted on the walls so you can get a visual on how the food looks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They serve you water bottles, if you order any drinks like Thai iced coffee or Thai tea you buy 2 and get the 3rd one free. Looking at the menu their prices can be pretty pricey but it's worth it because the portions are HUGEE! Better to come here to do family style. I love their Laab beef either raw or medium rare, super fire. You can get it sour or bitter. Also gotta have that with thom kueng nai which is an innards soup. Papaya salad can be a hit or miss but it's usually good and if you ask for spicy best believe it's gonna be spicy. Great place to get your lao food fix! So many options, wide variety. They are so sweet and super generous.

Pho Lao Vieng is a great spot if you're craving authentic Thai, Laotian, or Vietnamese food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is super casual. it feels like a true mom-and-pop shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's not fancy or modern, and honestly, that's how you know the food is going to be legit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The portions were way bigger than I expected, which was awesome. I got the fried pork, pho, and khao poon, and all of them were really good. Big portions don't mean they skimp on quality here. everything was flavorful and satisfying. Prices are fair, and the staff is friendly. If you're looking for authentic Southeast Asian dishes and don't mind a more down-to-earth vibe, this place is worth checking out!

Khao Poon with Chicken feet - SO YUMMY AND HUGE
    Tiffany T.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Hole in the wall spot that probably altered my brain chemistry.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I should've known when we came in with a group of five and the place is super full during lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was also a very authentic feel to it with the employees going around offering suggestions and such. I ordered the Khao Poon which first of all was humongous (definitely a shareable portion for 2-3) and delicious. The noodles were cooked perfectly and I love the blood they used. I usually am not a fan but these were so soft and silky. The soup itself was so flavorful as well. Every spoon was a gift. I would definitely come back and try some of their other dishes!! Their portion size is nothing to underestimate.

Raw sour larb! Sliced, not mushy ground like LA kitchen
    Fresno V.

Huge portions on the larb and pork! Best raw larb in town currently! Owner was super nice! Price is good. Will definitely come back! Thai boat fire also. Correct way to make raw larb, diced, not like LA kitchens pudding ground larb.

#13 Deep Fried Spare Ribs - one of my favorites!

This place never disappoints with their food and service! Every dish is delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you have a crowd, they are able to fit your group in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is always excellent.

    Veggies and herbs.
    T L.

The khao Poon red was a 3/10, just not good. The raw larb? A forgettable 4/10, and I didn't even bother taking the leftovers. Only the pho was halfway decent (6/10), and even that wasn't anything special. I'll give it another go next time in town. Hopefully, other dishes will redeem this place for me.

It's been ages since I've been back to this place cause they been opening and closing the restaurant. It was one of my go to back in the days for the beef salad. Family own and the owner is really nice. I came here for pho on this day and saw that they also make Thai boat and I was excited to try it.i also notice that blood cube comes in it as well so made it even excited to try it. It came out and the broth was good. No salty like others around town. The broth was more on the authentic side which I like. Only downfall is that I wish it came with deep fried pork belly instead of pork grinds. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean and had a nice big screen to watch football[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Wanted to give this place a shot because it's close to my new work place and really enjoy it!…read more It's attached to the Tea Shop, which you have to walk through first to get to the restaurant. You'll then have to wait to be seated at the register. I think this set-up is kind of awkward but hey, at least they have cute sidewalk seating. There are plenty of tables and long benches to sit at and the restaurant itself feels clean and well-lit! The staff are super helpful also. Tried the House Special Beef Pho and it was pretty tasty! You do have the option to order your dish with regular thin noodles, flat noodles, or egg noodles. The broth is basil-y and the flavor has great depth. They have a self-serve station for condiments where you can grab some chili oil, jalapeños, bean sprouts, and lime. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that I don't feel too bloated after eating here (compared to other pho restaurants). Been enjoying this restaurant and eating here at least once a week!

My memory is shot. I don't want to be handing out 5 stars so easily but I think they deserve it. The restaurant is very clean, and I love the little Asian lanterns they have, all different, above each table. Plenty of seating. When we got there (a little after 5), there was only one other table occupied... by the time we left (6:30), every table was nearly taken. Our waitress, as well as the other on the floor, were both very welcoming and friendly. They handled the service remarkably as a team. The fact that they were a packed house and still were very attentive with us, checking how we're doing, checking on our water refills... these are the little things I appreciate most (and, of course, good food). I got the Pho with the Fatty Brisket, my friend got just the Steak Pho. They have a bar against the wall with all garnishes you may need to grab what you'd like. This is pretty smart... It saves them from waste. Instead of giving people items they may not use-- they would just grab what they'd like themselves. My friend grabbed her goodies, I prefer mine as is. To me, if your broth is good and doesn't require me to flavor it... I'll eat it just like that (unless I feel like adding spice). I've only ever been to a few other Pho places where I had to season up the broth myself...definite no no for them. All my friends who have gone out to eat Pho with me know I eat it just how I get it. Pho from my Mama is a different story though... I put the works (not because it's not flavorful) but, it's just different. Moving on... They also have a Teazona in their establishment. I've tried a few different drinks in the past but came to regularly deciding on the Tiramisu Milk Tea (no flan for me, light boba). Make sure to shake it well. You can also let them know your preference on the level of sweetness. We both got this tonight and it nearly tipped me over on the full scale. Couldn't finish it. Everything was really good though. Pho was the perfect choice for this weird, gloomy weather we've been having. The price is a bit up there but that seems to be the norm everywhere nowadays. But-- for the portion, the quality, and the service? Worth it.

Located in the Barnyard shopping center this Vietnamese restaurant is a little dated, but don't let the decor deter you. The food is in incredible! I ordered a large bowl with thin sliced meat balls along with spring rolls for the table. First off, I should've gotten a small bowl of pho, the large bowls here are massive. I had plenty of leftover for the next day and the day after! The broth was delicious with deep rich flavors and the noodles were slightly al dente, which I loved. I couldn't help myself and active point picked up my bowl and just started sipping the broth. My wife ordered the same thing as I, minus the meatballs and she too, could not get over how much flavor the broth had, almost like they had been slow cooking this for the past three days straight. The spring rolls were 100% handmade and the filling inside was delicious. We did bring our kids with us and we're definitely nervous because they are very picky eaters. They do offer a kids menu, but there isn't much to it. It's basically rice broth and your choice of meat. We ordered my 4-year-old daughter a small bowl of rice with broth and chicken; she loved this and kept asking for more! My son (7) went big and ordered pho with squid... he inhaled everything! Even asking if we could order more squid on the side to which we did and he ate that as well. This was huge win for mom and dad, now we can do pho to the family dining out rotation. This is a family own restaurant and the staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. Branden, our server, help to answer any questions and was very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed!
