My father and I stopped at Sweetbites this morning. It was great! If you are fully vaccinated, you don't need to wear a mask inside as a customer. Staff and unvaccinated customers are required to wear masks. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered baked goods as well as coffee. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend this tucked away treasure. We will definitely go back - there are a lot more items on the menu to try. read more

Sweetbites is tucked away inside a large medical office building, and I came here out of pure convenience since I had an appointment upstairs but hadn't had a chance to eat anything yet. I was so pleased to see its stellar Yelp ratings when I checked in! The staff behind the counter were super nice, quick, and efficient getting through the line (clearly this is a popular little spot!). I ordered a soy dirty chai (chai tea latte with a shot of espresso), and they were very fast getting it out to me -- another pleasant surprise! Less pleasant was the chai tea bag in my cup, which I didn't actually notice for longer than I'd like to admit, and which made my tea WAY too strong and bitter by the time I did. I've never gotten a chai latte (or any kind of tea latte, actually) where they left the teabag in the cup, so I just was surprised by this. I imagine they do it for speed's sake. So, my drink ended up only being okay, but the strawberry scone I got to go along with it MORE than made up for it. Sooooooo delicious! Flaky, moist, incredible! They serve up a wide variety of baked goods, including two kinds of quiche, cinnamon rolls, muffins, and those seriously incredible scones. 10/10 would return to this random little office building bakery for the scone alone. read more

So this place was OK. It started off where I got cupcakes and a couple more desserts after I was done Ordering My deserts and I was being charged the lady at the counter asked me if I want to tip. It was pretty awkard because I usually don't have anyone ask if I want To tip especially if all she did was put the cupcakes in a Box. I felt a bit Taken aback because it was weird asking If I wanna tip when all she did was put it In a Box. I was so happy I found a great cafe & bakery near my work to satisfy my sweets cravings! I've enjoyed some of their cookies & cupcakes, especially their Earl Grey Cookies & Lemon Drop Cookies! I haven't tried anything else yet, but they have a variety of house-made pastries & treats ranging from Cinnamon Rolls to Banana Bread. They also offer breakfast, lunch items, and both hot & cold beverages on their menu. This cafe/bakery is located on the ground level of an office building with plenty of parking. The cafe is a bit small but has indoor & outdoor seating. The pricing is bit high, but I do understand that it is in an affluent area. My only two complaints are that the service can be a bit slow & a hit-or-miss with friendly service. A few times I've come in & haven't been greeted even by someone behind the counter who seemed like a manager/owner, they literally looked right at me & looked away as they carried on their conversation or whatever they were doing. The service is so lackadaisical, it seems like there is no sense of urgency in serving the customer promptly. There is also one specific instance where I ordered & paid for a Snickerdoodle cookie, but came back to work to realize I was given a Chocolate Chip Cookie.. There's clearly a difference in both those cookies which should have been seen, if proper attention was given. I really do like this cafe & bakery especially because it is so convenient so I will most likely make a few trips back. I have also found some other bakeries that are nearby that I may give a try because I'm so put off by inconsistency of the service & hospitality. read more

I can into this place by PURE chance! Tucked away in a building full of medical offices, my wife and I came here for some dental work. The whole building looked so incredibly dreary from the outside but when we got in, we saw this cute little sign pointing towards a cafe! It was super cute looking. Never would have known about the cafe as we didn't get a chance to pass it, we just went right to the back of the building to park. So while waiting for my wife, i went down to kill some time. Came into their store from the back and it was super cute and bright. Loved the decor as it wasnt overly rustic but not too cold. Anyway, i got their iced coffee and it was really good! I believe this is illy coffee which is sort of rare-ish to find in a lot of coffee/bakery shops. I glanced around and saw strawberry scones! yum! picked one of those up and sat down to relax. It was some darn awesome scone! Very moist and tender! I just had to share it with my wife so i had to hold back and stop eating or i would have eaten the whole darn thing. After my wife was done, I took her down and she immediately went crazy and bought a mini pumpkin pie which looked fantastic and a savory baked item, I'll take a picture of it once we get into it but I'm glad they don't just only make sweet baked items but also savory! I also got another coffee, it was THAT darn good! The only complaint I can only think of is that they dont have any liquid sugar for my iced coffee so the sugar i added doesn't dissolve but not a big deal, honestly. read more

I put my card in the reader before she was ready to run payment (sorry I didn't read the warning on one of the 3567 little notecards taped to things!) and she rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed. No smile or even just a neutral vibe. It was as if she was angry to have a customer standing there. And then she had the audacity to ask for a tip! I have not a clue how this place is affording rent when the product is not great. The cupcakes are way too sweet (I have tried 4 different flavors), the cookies subpar, and the lemon bars are very bitter (from the rind). I've also had a scone that was nothing special. I have given this place 4 different tries and I've been disappointed every time. No longer going back. My friends have had the same experiences - they went so far as to throw out the cupcakes! I worked close by so I really wanted to love this but it's not great and the people who work there have always been crabby. I love their cappuccino and decor. I also enjoy the Italian meat sandwich and panini. Here is why I deducted 2 stars: The lady at the counter who could be the owner, was curt with me. I came in and asked for an Italian sandwich she asked me if I checked the fridge. The first time I had the sandwich it was made to order so I was wishing to have the same as I enjoy room temperature bread. But I did check the fridge as suggested and saw they had it there. Knowing I wouldn't enjoy the cold bread I said I'd rather have it fresh perhaps I should have said "made to order" so I said I'd rather have something else. If I was in her place I'd offer to make one. But she tersely told me all sandwiches made fresh daily. When I said I was gonna have something else she listed all the things she didn't have. She didn't ask if I was gonna have my coffee there or to go just started making it in a paper cup when I said I'd like a ceramic cup she dump the coffee visibly annoyed and restarted it. Then she asked the guy to ring me only for a cappuccino without waiting for me to order something else. At that point, I asked for a panini and the young gentleman politely took my order. He also smiled as he was ringing me up perhaps sensing that I was a bit taken aback by her attitude. Customer relations are intricate, maybe I'm being sensitive but as a rule of thumb you should always strive not to offend your customers cause without them your product, however good it may be, worth nothing. read more

I work nearby, and sometimes grab lunch here. Everything I've ever eaten has been delicious, but the staff are not especially friendly, and the wait is always long as the person who takes orders is usually also the one making the specialty coffees. So, even if I'm just grabbing a sandwich out of the fridge, I have to wait five minutes or more just to pay for it. (Also, I grab sandwiches out of the fridge now, because the first time I went to order a sandwich, I was quickly told to get one that was pre-made out of the fridge. Except....for $10, can't I get a freshly made sandwich with bread that isn't cold?) So, everything is good, but the wait is long and customer service is not stellar. read more

But then the delicate aromas: lemon, icing, chocolate, cinnamon and ,amazingly, salsa & peppers for the breakfast burritos. Delectable scones, fluffy huge biscuits with eggs & sausage, and, beyond no doubt, the most buttery pecan-infused cinnamon cake I have ever had melt in my mouth (or my wife's, as I wrestled her for the last 30%). Fine cappuccino and coffee. Kimchee sliders? I'll have to come back for those. My wait staff/clerks were cheerful & competent.
