I got the green goddess salad, sub balsamic dressing, for $10 - the portion size is huge, and it comes with so much good stuff - Spinach, kale, black lentils, roasted sweet potatoes, almonds, red cabbage, broccoli, carrots, chickpeas, beets and a piece of fresh baked bread. The water tastes fine. The container and fork are compostable. The inside is clean and bright. There's nice seating both indoors and outside; there are sparrows to entertain; even the music is interesting. I've never found a restaurant before that serves way more than a whole day's worth of Vitamin K in one meal. Really grateful. Thank you, sweetgreen, and please come to Ohio soon! I decided to try something new and healthy for dinner tonight through Uber Eats. Sweet green is a new salad place down the street that just opened up on E 86th street, and I ordered the Harvest Bowl salad, rosemary foccaica, and Jasmine green tea. What a wonderful display of a Salad!! I never saw a presentation of a meticulous salad with each ingredient neatly portioned out in the bowl. The Harvest bowl contains kale, tomatoes, chickpeas, roasted chicken, wild rice, goat cheese, apples, cold sweet potato, and balsamic vinaigrette on the side. It was very fresh and extremely delicious ! The bowl itself was a nice huge portion size for the price I paid for the salad. The rosemary foccaica was very light and fluffy and tasted wonderful. The Jasmine green tea was refreshing and delightful! It's nice to find a healthy restaurant nearby that produces wonderful salads for dinner. Sweet green is a wonderful place for healthy lifestyle eaters like myself who want to have a wonderful salad and not feel guilty about calories or fat. I was delightfully surprised with my lunch from Sweetgreen today and can't wait to go back. I was hesitant because I'm not a huge salad person and I couldn't find any red meat. But I went with a Choose Your Own Warm Bowl with mixed greens, warm wild rice, roasted sweet potatoes, roasted brussels, steelhead salmon, and the miso vinaigrette. Mannnnnnnnn it was AWESOME! As a lunch salad, I was satisfied more than expected- I was fulfilled but not sluggishly full. The salmon was the perfect protein and that miso vinaigrette was everything! The restaurant was quiet and clean but the service was a bit slower- we ordered catering to be ready at 10:45 and due to short staffing, our order was not ready until about 30 minutes later. Give them grace! While I enjoyed my lunch, I'm not sure this will be a normal go-to. I need some red meat options. Sweetgreen is that place... my goodness, eating healthy never tasted so good UNLESS I prepared it at home. A dear friend of mine who lives in GA told me I had to try it. She sent me pictures and kept recommending it, so trusting her suggestion, I decided to try it out I looked at the menu and loved the options I saw but I already knew what I wanted to try. The barbecue chicken and squash plate.. It was a limited time offering, so I had to make sure to try it before it was gone. My goodness, the way they season the food. I felt as if I did prepare it myself, and I was thoroughly impressed. I was looking at the menu today and I don't see it there anymore. I have also tried the chicken ranch plate as well. It doesn't disappoint either. I have not had anything from there that has been less than pleasing. I may grab lunch one day next week because I'm feeling a little overdue if you have not tried Sweetgreen you are missing out and with 3 locations here in Indy you can enjoy. I'm so happy a Sweetgreen finally opened in Indianapolis. As someone who works at the mall, I was so excited about a healthy option in the food court. Sweetgreen has fresh ingredients and the salads are to die for. I am not a salad person, but my order at Sweetgreen has changed my view on "healthy eating". The Guacamole Greens salad bowl is great. I love that you can make substitutes and changes to any menu item to personalize your meal. The workers are so nice and I've never waited too long in line. My salad is usually around $13 I believe, which is reasonably priced for a fresh salad. The restaurant itself is clean and small. There is limited seating but they offer both outdoor and indoor seating, and the restaurant also connects to the food court where there are plenty of places to eat. My first time and got the Guacamole Goddess with a side of bread. At the end of ordering you can get your bowl mixed or keep the ingredients somewhat separated. I asked mine to be mixed and am glad I did. The line to order in went fast which was especially impressive for recently opening. The bread tasted like a bread you would get before your meal at a nice restaurant. I would get the Guacamole Goddess again but almost all of the options looked great. Just had a delicious lunch at Sweetgreen! I got the guacamole greens bowl, and it was very good. My husband got the bbq chicken and squash plate, and it was awesome. Our kids ate some of the chicken and avocado from our meals with the bread slices. My five-year old daughter said, "it was the best meal she has ever had." I was so glad to hear that a healthy option was coming into this mall. Majority of the time the staff does not have the urgency of wanting to help a customer or even a smile on there face. The staff find ways to dodge them like Vince Vaughn in dodgeball. Like food prepping, hiding in the back, or staff just chilling at the tables. Long lines and the wait is unreal. I have heard of this restaurant, and it DOES live up to the hype! We went to the Keystone at the Crossing Fashion Mall location, and I expected a restaurant but it was more of a high-end Chipotle style place, except salads. You tell them what you want on your salad (custom) or you can order one of their signature salads (photos on menu above). The quality was GREAT, and the taste was GREAT. I don't think there are enough GREAT salads out there, so this place is very exciting to have. The only problem is parking. It was like Christmas ... people circling like sharks or musical chairs vying for the parking spots when people pulled out. My friend & I gave up; she parked in Nordstrom garage & I parked near Saks & walked over. Much better than spending 20 min. circling for a spot nearby. And there were about 30 people in line. Wow. But it only took about 10 min. The employees were kind and patient. They even asked if I wanted the dressing on the side or poured on top of salad. I picked 'put on salad', then they asked if I wanted it tossed (I was so excited to have them do this). I will be back, just not at lunchtime ... it was too crowded. Finally made my way to this sweetgreen after driving past it everyday. At first you think it's hard to go in/out of the location because of it being in the mall but it's actually a lot easier and smoother then I would've ever expected. I parked right in front of their store front entrance, and walked in through their front door. You have to walk to the opposite side of the restaurant if you enter that way to get to the start of the line. Once you walk in they'll all greet you and you can tell the vibe of the employees which then reflects the vibe of the place is all upbeat and prideful. I can tell you I went during a lunch rush hour and despite how long the line looked they efficiently got through everybody in lightning speed in my eyes. Mind you a number of people ahead were like myself and new to the place and the employees had no problem recommending and having good dialogue with us customers about what we like/don't like. I ended up getting the buffalo chicken bowl and needless to say I will be going back. Their sweetgreen ranch which I guess is their signature dressing is to die for. Their hot sauce is actually hot too! If you know what I mean, you know what I mean. I genuinely have been looking for another healthy food spot other then chipotle and I finally found one. Nothing against the direct establishment. They have signs everywhere advertising $5 off. It's a scam. After spending over $10 minutes trying to make an account, download the app, add my payment info, pledging to name my first born child after them, providing a complete medical history, etc, still not discount code. Just don't offer the code. It's like they are trying to keep you busy in line. No one at the store could help and they wouldn't honor the code sent via email. (And to be clear, two of those were a joke). Food is great. I would have purchased and been a very happy customer if they hadn't promised the first time discount. The worker was nice, but she rushed everything & didn't pay attention to my order :( got a Super Green Goddess, & I'm guessing she confused my order because she missed mostly everything that came with the salad? I had to ask her to add sweet potatoes & broccoli (which was supposed to be included). Then she put some kind of lime dressing on my salad & tortilla chips on top of it all. Also after checking the menu (we already left by that time), I noticed she missed the kale, chickpeas & carrots. I'm guessing she was reading the wrong recipe, or maybe she was new?
